Ya'll, something keeps nagging me. This generation of parents are constantly posting pictures; selfies, their kids, what they just ate, etc. I have yet to see one single picture posted of CC, anyone or anything from that b'day party. That seems so suspicious to me.
From what I have gathered she was there visiting a relative and not necessarily invited to the bday party - certainly this video seems like she was off on her own with just another child IMO

That makes me think the mother was not there. I have never seen a more photographed child. (LOL) So many pictures of her. The angel with the beautiful smile.

thank you for posting that! I agree and was headed to quote video to say that same thing!

honestly, I don’t get kids even wanting to pick up paper. Acorns, yes, mine did it all the time. I can’t actually reference sm but i think that is where the idea of it being paper or flyers came from. I will say this. If you look at the car when it was picked up and shown, there is something on the dash, papers maybe? I say all that to say, I just can’t fathom kids picking up paper, nor do I think it looks like paper.

Here is a link to thread with vehicle pic. AL - Kamille "Cupcake" McKinney,3, Media, Maps, timeline -No Discussion

Here’s a tweet with vehicle.

What’s interesting is that this appears to be a daylight picture. Do you guys agree? That would mean they captured it on video with identifiable tag and and then captured this image during daylight too? What do you think?
Yes and I thought the video of the children was taken in daylight too, according to all the shadows you see. Sunset was 6.08pm and last light was 6.33pm that day. I know what the timestamps on the video says but am puzzled by the contradiction.

Both children start to follow the man. So it would appear either they knew him or he promised them something?

Or perhaps they were just happy to see a grown up and followed him.... it's not uncommon in my experience.

Oh hell, I don’t know what to believe anymore. Chinese Whispers and Telephone game all over the place. It’s been my experience - return to the beginning before self editing occurs. Initial statements are important. Believe them until the speaker proves you wrong. imo

Yes initial outcry/disclosures are often most accurate.

Maybe to earn candy? Maybe he wanted to lure them with candy but didn't have enough to put it close together to lure the toddlers out? Instead said "If you help me pick up these papers, I will give you candy." Many toddlers don't even have to be motivated to help. When I make cleaning up a game, my youngest happily joins in. Moo

Mine too... he loves to mop, vacuum, sweep, pick up garbage... anything like that.

Remodeling a bathroom right now and our biggest challenge has been giving him safe tasks to do because he insists on helping us!

This age group is so damn curious, anxious to learn, independent, sweet and fun. :(

I was able to slow down and get pretty good resolution. It’s square or rectangular pieces scattered around the yard. My nephew who is 3, LOVES to pick up wrapping paper at birthdays. Maybe they were coloring and wind blew? Maybe one of the POI’s in vid promised money for picking it up to distract them? Also do any of you see the (white or light) colored car flash by? Is it a reflection or on street in back?

Yea, I saw the car drive on the right hand side of the video too. Confusing because I didn’t think there was a road there but it doesn’t look like a reflection either.

When did LE allege that the mother and the aunt didn't keep an eye on her?
We already know that no adult was present when she went missing. The mother was at the complex, (and/or aunt) the kids were outside playing.
What else has been said that might not be true?
Imo
I was referring to the allegations on AT's FB page.I assume a lot of them knew her

What if it is coins, not paper? How do we know it is pieces of paper?

Seems like everyone is just guessing. I was wondering if the leaves have started falling in Alabama yet. Perhaps the girl were picking up fall colored leaves? They seem to be under a huge tree. Leaves, acorns, or even chasing after bugs seems more likely to me than there being random pieces of paper, candy or coins already in that area. They also may be pretending to collect something without actually picking anything up-- they are small children playing outside and might be using their imaginations. Somehow I doubt that what the children are doing while playing just before the suspect walks up and engages them is relevant to the abduction. Whatever he says that makes them follow after him is probably much more relevant. MOO.

I was under this impression too. It sounded like a neighborhood birthday party was happening and the relative/whoever decided to join. I wonder if her parents even knew they were going there

#UPDATE #Cupcake There‘s a grid search for clues to Cupcake McKinney’s abduction.
@BhamPolice
just won’t tell me where. Sgt. Johnny Williams says they can’t ruin chance of finding evidence and/or tip-off a possible suspect(s). She disappeared almost 8 days ago.

Furthermore, Sgt. Williams says if they find anything notable he’ll give me the updates later. Right now, he tells me they dont want anything impeding their investigation—including finding 3-year-old Cupcake—safe and sound.

This is starting to remind me of an old Laurel and Hardy sketch, who is the named man?
Abbott and Costello. Who’s on first? Birmingham version?...
Who’s on third? I’m so confused.

That’s interesting.

to me it says... a new suspect not our POI.

I hope it means the don’t want him to move KM. What are they looking for?

Sorry, we’ve never found a msm link for that. The bounce house.

chief says “there were other events going on nearby”

Herein lies a bit of a problem with this site.

The mainstream media has suffered a great deal with dwindling resources and advertising revenue. Real investigative reporting, normally the highest paid journalists, have been minimized and their ranks decimated. AL.COM is the electronic version of the Birmingham News and their reporters are entry level positions posting articles that don’t even pass the bare essentials of editorial muster. Editors are almost deemed excess baggage these days. I know it’s a slippery slope but sooner or later WS will need to rethink policy about MSM being the only allowed source. It will be a difficult road but eventually there should be a policy allowing some form of additional sourcing because restricting it to MSM is pretty much ignoring you’re not getting “the rest of the story”. Good luck with it but it’s inevitable, sooner rather than later I’m afraid.

Well, without reading it or knowing the context of the conversation we have no way to know.

I'm not sure who AT is or what you mean by "a lot of them."

I'm talking about the allegations on MSM that are relevant to the case.

Crap, got them confused! We are showing our age or our love for old comedy’s!

I can’t speak for Websleuths, but I am happy to not be clouded with inaccuracies that come from sm.
