Great post. Did we ever hear anything about motive in Ahlora's case? It seems strange that a 22 yo female would kidnap a random child IMO. I admit it sounds a bit far fetched, but I wonder if they are investigating any type of connection between the three girls. I hope someone at least brings it up in the next presser if there is one.

I'm very curious about a connection between the last two abductions. It seems like the first abductor, a woman, may have abducted the child for someone else. After she was identified, she abandoned the plan. The abduction of Kamille seems similar, where she may have been handed off to someone else before the abductors were identified.

All three were abducted at playgrounds, the last two were abducted while in the care of older children.

And not that it is any excuse not to supervise your children, football is king in the south. The Florida/LSU game was on and adults were probably watching it while kids were nearby playing. I'm not sure the dynamics of who was supervising who, but even adults become distracted by something they are interested in... especially if more than one person is "keeping an eye on the kids."

Supervision is hardest when more than one person is providing it, IMO.

Is this where the parents and Cupcake live? Or where the party was? Or completely unrelated to our knowledge so far?

edit -- nevermind, I see this is where the birthday part was now.

Also, the outfit is not abnormal for her race/culture in our area. There are entire stores that have similar outfits hanging on every rack. ‍♀️

I just do not see this with Ahlora, although I think her case may have given cupcakes abductors the idea.

Was this a child's birthday party or an adult's, it was 8:30 pm?
I'm not sure if that was clarified.
There seem to have been quite few children there.
It does seem pretty late for a children's party.
At any rate, I don't think it's unusual in an apartment complex or in public housing for many children to be outside playing without an adult outside with them. The units are either connected or very close together and people can see outside their windows.
Apparently no adult was watching in this case and it must have been dark by that time so so the perps could have been watching and waiting for the right moment. There were two people in the car, reportedly, so one may have been the lookout while the other made his move. Imo

A pattern for sure.

We have late birthday parties. It starts early but everyone just stays and hangs out. The adults hang out while the kids play. It's pretty normal. I think it's a cultural thing.

And like a PP said, it's pretty normal in a public housing area for kids to play outside unattended. Kids are outside all day playing since the units are close together.

This seems illogical, but it's so very true.

Yes. It's also been really, really hot here. Until Saturday, it has been in the upper 90s most days. I don't think it's uncommon to get together during football season to celebrate a birthday. Eat cake, open presents, kids play... while adults watch football.

In the south, we check the football schedules before planning anything. I had my daughter's birthday in September from 10-12 in the morning to avoid football games. My niece will marry in November the night the now #1 and #2 teams play each other. They've already made it known to everyone that there will be TVs set up and the game will be on during the reception. It's part of life here.

So Cupcake’s mother brought her to this birthday party? Was her mother inside?

What if Cupcake was missing before 8:30pm? Is that when she was noticed missing by the other children?
When was the last time an adult saw Cupcake?

I have no idea. But in complexes or public housing units it's not uncommon for there to be "community" birthday parties. There are no invitations and it's not formal. It's just word of mouth and people find out and the kids end up at your house. I grew up in housing projects/apartment complexes and this is how it was.

It's odd that three unsupervised young girls were recently abducted from public places / playgrounds.

Idle musing - You know, the person who posted earlier, about a possible "body parts harvesting" ring may be on to something....3-5 year old minority girls being grabbed and gone seems to be really going on for the last 30 days. Are there any missing 3-5 year old missing minority boys in this approx. time period ?..... This is kind of strange and scary...moo....
