I thought we would have more information this morning.

The representative seems so solemn at the presser.

My concerns.....

The two POI parked at their home, clearly not hiding. They have not released their names.

Unknown time of actual abduction not released. Stated at presser, delay due to not reporting, to LE but no reason why. Was the family of the birthday party trying to locate mom, thinking maybe she was with her?

Now they are reaching out to other states.

No leads on her location.

The above are my opinion only.
Right. Assuming these two are involved, by now they have to realize the jig is up. It would be in their interest to provide law enforcement her location.

I think there’s two main reasons why they wouldn’t do so:

They don’t know where she is, which I don’t buy.

They know exactly where she is, but revealing that would expose them to the type of charges that carry a penalty far greater than kidnapping.

Hopefully it’s the former.

If I ever go missing, I hope it's in Alabama. These channels are stuck like glue to this story. Relentless! (And, that's a good thing!)

WHERE IS 'CUPCAKE'? Police believe Kamille McKinney is in extreme danger after she was abducted outside her birthday party on Saturday.

ETA: Tweet is in error - it was not Cupcake's birthday party. TY @MsBetsy! :)

It’s impressive. Every minute or two there’s a new Tweet.

And adding to that. If there are priors or active warrants could that complicate or help things? I would think it would give more to “bargain” with if that is even on the table.

Was it her Birthday party or was she attending a Birthday party?
I wasn't aware it was her own.

She was attending a birthday party; not her birthday. I didn't even catch that in that tweet. Thanks for pointing it out! MOO

Has anyone compiled a timeline here?
Very possible I missed it.

In 2018 NCMEC assisted law enforcement and families with more than 25,000 cases of missing children.

Case type:

  • 92 percent endangered runaways.
  • 4 percent family abductions.
  • 3 percent critically missing young adults, ages 18 to 20.
  • Less than 1 percent nonfamily abductions.
  • 1 percent lost, injured or otherwise missing children.

Yes but stranger kidnapping notwithstanding, there are many other dangers for an unsupervised 3 year old. MOO

Do we know if the mom and dad are together? Are they a couple or are they separated? Just haven’t seen or heard much at all about her mom. Doesn’t mean anything bad but I was just curious. I’d like to know more about everyone in this case but obviously finding Kamille is of the utmost importance. Since the kidnapping of children by strangers is so rare I just wonder if someone had something against one of her parents. I hope not.

I'm trying to find the numbers excluding runaway. When we add the runaways its skews the numbers of actual abductions.

The number of actual abductions by type.

IMO the fact that she was attending someone else's party is indicative of this not being a retaliation kidnapping. It seems more plausible that "they" were on the look-out for a specific genre/race/age and little Cupcake came into sight first. Unless, of course it was someone very familiar with the family and knew exactly where Cupcake would be, but if Dad is saying he doesn't know this guy? I just have a gut feeling that these two people are not involved with her kidnapping..I hope I'm wrong and they are in there spilling the beans so this baby can go home. Too much time has gone by now if they've got the wrong person(s). MOO IMO

Not together, but seems they are cordial if that's the right word?
Dad spoke about the mom and only spoke good things about the her in the one video I saw. I think it's the same video where he said the mom doesn't live there and was just attending the party there.

Kidnapped children make headlines, but abduction is rare in U.S.

On average, fewer than 350 people under the age of 21 have been abducted by strangers in the United States per year since 2010, the FBI says. From 2010 through 2017, the most recent data available, the number has ranged from a low of 303 in 2016 to a high of 384 in 2011 with no clear directional trend.

In cases where children are abducted, it is far more common for a non-custodial parent to be the kidnapper: This was reported 2,359 times in 2017, the FBI data showed.

384 kids abducted in 2011. That's a lot more than I anticipated.

I keep typing things here and deleting them. Don't even know what to say and how to say it. Cases like Dulce's and Cupcake's ... Please, FBI, get these solved.

Which makes this all the more scarier.

If, if, if, by chance, the Poi's are not involved. LE needs to make sure that Cupcake even left the T Brown apartments. Someone else there might have snatched her. And I am not talking about family.

It the 11 year old might have been afraid of getting into trouble for not watching Cupcake better. They might have come up with the abduction story to avoid that.
