Pretty disgusting. DB birthed her children because she had the plumbing. There's not a maternal bone in her body. She abducted and murdered another woman's baby, allegedly.

"She doesn't deserve the title of being a mom" sentence of the year! Women like her make me sick, it's so sad when there's so many good and desperate couples who'd do anything for a baby but can't, yet scum like her can keep popping them out and discarding them whenever! SMH

We can only hope and pray that her beautiful babies are raised with love, care, support and the the right amount of discipline, and grow up to be wonderful humans, something they may not have done with her as their mother. MOO

Allegedly it was 6 or 7 individuals. PS arrest detail itemizes 7 bonds totaling $500,000 that secured his release.

Totaling $50,000.00, the ten percent required. It's my understanding that it was not a $500,000 cash bond. Ten percent.

Well whaddya know. This was my first inclination as soon as I heard there was a woman involved. Not giving her a free pass BY ANY MEANS, but it seemed logical to conclude imo that something like that may have happened to her.

Do all women who are victims of abuse as a child turn out like this? Of course not. But we do know the cycle of abuse, that often the abused become the abusers.

ETA: This is assuming her assertions of abuse are in fact true, which they very well could be, moo. It would fit a pattern of her possibly collaborating with someone like this, imo.

It's undeniable that most people who go on to abuse children were abused themselves, Like you said no excuse but it's the truth.

No doubt we'll hear all about how PS had a terrible upbringing too. It'll all come out in mitigating factors, BS!!! The vast majority of abused kids grow up balanced, normal and determined to not let their past ruin their future, and to protect their own offspring with their own lives if necessary to ensure that the same fate doesn't happen to them too. MOO

That's exactly what I thought, though I'm assuming not, as even a couple of seconds would cause damage surely? I'm sure the horrifying action of being put in there, possibly shutting the door would have the desired effect of literally terrifying and traumatising the poor child without having to turn it on. Abhorrent, nasty, sick woman MOO

I absolutely agree.

By all accounts they are his victims as well. I think they believed PS account that he had an alibi, and probably told them somebody else downloaded on his phone.

Why would they believe him? Probably because PS has no criminal record with the exception of MJ misdemeanor charge 15 years ago (2004)! That fact alone is baffling as I don't think this was his first offense against a minor.

Family owns a local 30 year business with stellar record. They are probably devastated.

Just because he has no priors does not mean he has not committed any crimes before, just he haven't been caught.

You know those questions were people ask something like, if you die what statistics do you want to know? Some answers are always, how many times someone was in love with me or if I ever did anything that changed someone's life. I also want to know stuff like, how many of the abused really become abusers. I'm not disputing that it def happens, of course. I just know there is so much abuse that is not reported. If we truly knew how many were abused, I wonder what percentage would become the abuser.

A lot of people just carry on, as others have said, and use it as motivation to make their life better. I just realized this is probably OT and i'm sorry. I have just wondered about it so much since I became active on WS and i was thinking about it a lot today since DB's letter used that excuse. MOO

I have seen many cases here however, where the suspects have said they were abused as children. And I do understand how that could happen. In childhood sexual abuse, it is very confusing, because often the sexual play is very pleasant and feels good, if one is groomed by a 'loving' friend or family member. So it becomes convoluted, as your uncle or grandfather is telling you they love you, while they are doing some kind of sexual act with you. Very confusing for a child and can still be confusing as someone grows up.

I get the same feeling here. Two lowlife misfits who are sexually "out there" (her for sure) that come together and the dynamic takes on a whole different life.

So I agree. They didn't just one day decide to kidnap and kill a child. I am going to guess that they had been discussing it for a while and finally one either convinced the other that it was "go time" or together, through a shared excitement, decided it was time and they made it happen. A shared fantasy perhaps that finally came to fruition.

What's concerning is with the increasing pervasiveness of child how many more people will decide that just viewing this online is not enough for them? They did not mention that she turned it on but it's common sense that one does not put their child inside an electrical appliance for punishment.

Most likely the child was familiar with the sound the washer makes and that in itself can be scary to a child.
This woman is just plain stupid.

That news report or member post was only partially accurate.

Before the $50,000 (10%) surety presented to the court could even be issued, $500,000 collateral for his $500,000 bail had to be presented to Agent/Issuer as security for his release.

Any personal property/security from the individuals would have been liened. When PS was back in custody, the liens would have been released. Most likely the collateral was their homes. That's how it works.

(PS Bond file shows: 4 @ $50,000 and 3 @ $100,000=$500,000 bond collateralized by his family and friends).
