I’m guesssing the 911 call hasn’t been released.
I don't think so and at this point it probably would not help.
They already have the suspects in custody. It's an ongoing investigation but I think the only reason to release the call to the public is if LE has reason to believe the benefit of releasing the call outweighs the callers right to privacy.
Do we even know who made the call? I don't remember.

Imo

I hope the trial does not drag on for years. My neighbors son was murdered about three years ago, still has not gone to trial.

I’m new here and have tried to read each and every comment. Of course I’ve missed some here and there so sorry if this has been mentioned before.

When I read Brown’s statement when she was arrested as a teen, the thought of manipulation was overwhelming. She had said she was abused and was treated in a mental facility (if I remember correctly) I’m wondering in her case if trauma at a young age by her mother could have triggered (possibly) sociopathic tendencies. Or something where she disassociated w reality.
I find her actions and her pleas to be polar opposites. If she had any remorse I believe she would have tried paying fines, went to counseling, had her children in counseling, took parenting classes, etc. IMO she tried to manipulate the judge for her own gain. There were never any good intentions for change or a better life for her children. Again this is all my personal opinion.

My belief is that psychopaths are born. There is peer reviewed research that supports this. But it is unpopular, as it has implications regarding adoption, and further issues regarding rehabilitation and incarceration. Also, if we can identify an "evil seed" gene, would those people be considered "bad" and unredeemable?

Thank you @Subiechik21
I’m having trouble watching it, I’m distracted by the women standing behind the speaker and they’re swaying - moving back and forth.
Is that her mom in the pink shirt?

No, the people behind the pulpit are the Church Choir people. Her family is front row, but are not being shown.

You are stronger than me. No way I could watch it. I am crying just thinking about her.

I wanted to go, but we already had plans today. The church can hold 700 people, but they were anticipating way more than that, I didn't catch all of it but what I did catch was beautiful!

What a beautiful, beautiful ceremony honoring Cupcake and her family. I’m so grateful to have been able to catch at least the last part.

All the beautiful flowers and pictures, the beautiful music...that horn salute at at the end was amazing.

Cupcake was certainly lifted up and honored beautifully.

(CNN) Mourners packed the pews of a Birmingham, Alabama, church Sunday for the funeral of Kamille "Cupcake" McKinney,

“Purple and pink flowers and balloons adorned Kamille's tiny casket at the 3-year-old's "homegoing service" at New Beginning Christian Ministry. Colorful cupcakes and an artistic rendering of little Kamille sat alongside the white casket.”

Snip

“"Even though it may be sad here for us ... not having her here and needing her here, God has gained an angel in his kingdom," Long told the crowd, which responded with a chorus of amens.”

“Kamille's family was in attendance, many of them wearing buttons with her face on them.

The 700-seat church was full by 1 p.m. So many people showed up that the church directed people who were unable to find a seat to an overflow room.”

They need to play her funeral video 24/7 to her killers. I think they thought this child would not be missed, they we're wrong. I pray for her family. I hope the brother gets counsel ing.

I'm glad they didn't show the family. It's too emotional for them today, burying their daughter/granddaughter/niece, etc.

I’m glad too. I have sensory issues so I just listened. Rip sweet Cupcake.

What an incredible gesture from the family to share Kamilles service with the world,so brave in the face of such tragedy

I know there is evil in this world, but I do not understand the motive in her killing. She was so young I don't think she could identify them. If it wasn't sexual ( and I pray it wasn't) then there was no reason to kill her. I need a time out, think I will go to the gteenhouse

I have no doubt that she was abused by the perpetrators. This was planned. They had the candy, and were out hunting for what they wanted.
