Bumping for Ronnie. I’m working on a cumulative update on the case, including all of the people named in connection, and hope to have that posted this weekend. We can’t let this go cold.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — For the past six months, when you’ve heard the name “Dumas,” it’s been about the abducted Huntsville realtor who is still missing, but Wednesday night, it was all about his son, Kai, who turned 13 years old. As Kai walked out of the Lego store, he heard a loud combination of horns honking, police sirens, and engines revving. “At first, I’m thinking, ‘What is this?’ That’s when everyone yelled surprise,” Kai Dumas said. “I’m like, ‘Wait a minute, did I pass out?'”

James Andrews, who is working with the family to find Dumas, launched a (fund) for his three children, Kai (12), Lindsi (6), and Ryili Dumas (4), titled “Help Ronnie’s Kids Find Joy Amidst Tragedy.”

still being sought are:

  • Toure Laron McLaurin, 33, of Memphis, wanted for first degree kidnapping.
  • Sabrina Rochelle Chambers, 27, of Huntsville, wanted for first degree kidnapping.
  • Carissa Cash, 33, of Memphis, wanted for first degree receiving stolen property.

Huntsville police are asking that anyone who recognizes or encounters these people to report their whereabouts immediately to local law enforcement.
Anyone with information may contact Investigator Gregory Hayden at (256) 427-5485 or provide an anonymous tip by calling (256) 532-7463.

I just wish LE would put out more photos out there of the wanted suspects..

I’ve been scolded for using more than 10% of an article in a post, even though it was linked in that post, so I can’t post my write up. I’m not sure how to use less than 10% and still get all of the facts right in a synopsis…

Sabrina Chambers is one of the original 5 suspects in Ronald’s disappearance for whom a warrant was issued in Feb. 2025. According to her grandmother in the article linked above by WHNT, she last heard from her on Jan. 17, 2025, which, she points out and HPD confirms, was before the warrants were issued. I can’t find anything reporting that she’s been found or arrested.

However, what she did not point out and I think it is important to note is that several articles releasing the still pictures of Ronald Dumas in the liquor store where he was reportedly seen with two women on Dec. 15 are dated Jan. 16, 2025, the day before she was reported missing. I don’t think that is a coincidence, and I wonder if that has been brought to her grandmother’s attention.

I also can’t find anything other than conjecture naming the two women in the liquor store, but multiple sources confirm that she is the only one of the 5 from the Huntsville area. Too many coincidences to be irrelevant IMO.

Something else I wonder about is, with the number of people for whom warrants have been issued (9), several of which were related to stolen property or stolen identities, in addition to the three other people who were arrested for harboring the first 2 arrested suspects, are there any other missing people related to what appears to be a fairly organized criminal enterprise? I do believe Ronald was targeted by the two women at the liquor store, but why? Fraud or robbery don’t usually end with a missing victim.

The Huntsville Police Department is working jointly with other agencies to survey and collect evidence surrounding the disappearance of a Huntsville real estate agent, Ronald Dumas Jr.

Police say a report was filed with them on Tuesday for Dumas being missing. According to the report, he was last heard from over the phone about 10 p.m. on Dec. 15. Information in the report states it sounded like he was out with other people when he was on that phone call.

On Monday, Tennessee Highway Patrol had found his vehicle on the side of Interstate 40, which was then impounded. Police say the vehicle was not occupied at the time of impoundment.

UPDATE 12-20-24:
Investigators are using cell phone information to trace the movements of Ronald Dumas Jr., of Huntsville, who went missing over the weekend.

THP committed state troopers, a helicopter, and two Tennessee Bureau Investigative agents to help with the search and collection of information. Today while searching in Camden, TN. Dumas's cell service location history revealed that at 6:08 a.m. Mr. Dumas’s cell phone was traveling West on I-40 well past mile marker 133, so we have reason to believe that someone was following Mr. Dumas or a motorist stopped and helped him continue his travels.
What seems to be the link to Camden, Tn? Thats right up the ateeet.

At the time there wasn’t a link. Now that warrants have been issued we know it’s on the way to the areas in Tennessee where many of the suspects are from. What I can’t figure out is the link to Huntsville.

If you google their names you can find pictures and mugshots.
Yes but these are all the same over and over again. I meant additional photos (eg one of the suspects has plenty in FB, which are not mugshots)

The linked article above released at the end of May lists four additional individuals being sought by HPD in connection with Ronald’s disappearance. I call these the “downstream suspects” because they were named much farther along in the case than the original five. One of these four is Jessenia Mariah Jackson who “allegedly was dog sitting for the victim, but instead of watching the dog, she stole medication. She is wanted for Theft of Property 2nd from a Residence by HPD.” I found Jessenia Jackson’s profile on LinkedIn and her Madison County mugshot and she is from the Huntsville area. I have to wonder when this happened, was she dog sitting before he disappeared or maybe she was hired after by the family? If before, which makes more sense to me, is this where Ronnie came onto this group’s radar?

Ah, I see, my apologies.

No need to apologize! I just find it strange when they ask for the public’s help but then release just the same mugshot. Who would be able to recognize any of them with just one (older) pic?

Update on the four “downstream suspects”:

Matthew Ryan Cordle - arrested on May 30, 2025 and released on bond
Jessenia Mariah Jackson - arrested on June 1, 2025 and released on bond
Katherine Lynn Allen - arrested on June 4, 2025 and released on bond
Ashlee Michele Bradford - found several arrests between 2021 and 2024 and possibly March 2025 but nothing recent

The family of a missing Alabama man, who authorities believe may be in the Mid-South, increased the reward for information that helps find him.

Ronald Dumas Jr.'s family upped that reward for information leading to his safe return to $7,500.
In order to claim the reward money, a tipster must provide credible details regarding his whereabouts.

Christ. I often wondered how suspects who were wanted on previous charges of sex trafficking would be involved in his disappearance, but this is a hard left turn I did not see coming.

This is happening more and more.
They get the victims cell phone and have everything they need on their phone. Extortion an holding a person captive for days sometimes and transfer everything over or drain the account. Also it is very under reported. Not all victims get murdered . Some get pimped. Others blackmailed. Its ugly .
