Morning everyone! Checking in to see how things are going this morning. I am also curious about Savannah's dad and if he supports JG. Thanks for the link about the lawsuit, Queenie. There are several versions to JG's story so I wonder if Gadsden Regional even had accurate information from JG in order to treat Savannah properly. The more I learn about this woman, the madder it makes me and the sicker I feel. Poor little Savannah didn't stand a chance with this bully!

Was JG just visiting the Hardin home that day? I'm confused about this and also every news article gives a different location...it's been so long since i've been up that way that I can't recall all the names of the small communities/towns.

Gotta go tend my 'hive' during the lunch break.

He stalked away from the bench and other lawyers. Judge Ogletree said, "you're exception is noted." Bone then moved for a mistrial.

Objections apparently have to do with what the scribe saw. From what little questions asked, it seemed scribe was saying Savannah not alert.

thank goodness because if i watch another trial with a judge like her you just might see me live on cnn taking hostages at a courthouse or something (i'm not a patient bee and she drove me bonkers :gaah::happydance::tantrum

Savannah Hardin’s father files malpractice suit against hospital

Robert Lee Hardin, the father of Savannah Hardin, has filed a medical malpractice lawsuit against Gadsden Regional Medical Center alleging the hospital’s treatment of the child contributed to her death.

As WM pointed out, the hospital can only go on what they're told. I hope this gets dismissed or he loses and has to pay the hospitals costs. It couldn't be that his mother killed Savannah.

Am I the only one that thinks it's weird that she didn't invite the investigator inside her house after he was cold? Why go to the car?

Hi Steely! Hope your are feeling better these days and so glad to see you back. You've been missed around here my friend!

It will be interesting to see how the civil suit plays out. If JG is found guilty of murdering Savannah, I don't know how the hospital can be held liable for her death, especially if incorrect information was given. However, from a personal perspective, I've spent alot of time in the two hospitals in Etowah county the past couple of years and feel my loved ones received more compassionate care at the other hospital. And I birthed babies at both hospitals long ago and preferred the other hospital way back then. GRMC is crowded and twice didn't have a room available and I found the ER very slow. No offense to the health care workers there, as I have friends who work there and they do the best they can in a very busy environment. So MOO!

OT I'm feeling sad today folks. My great aunt and legal guardian from the time I was in my early teens passed away yesterday. What a wonderful woman she was and she lived a full long life! Not even my blood aunt but the wife of my great uncle who was deceased by the time she took me in. She loved kids and looking back, I believe was quite amused by children. She said kids kept her young and she always stayed young at heart! So to honor Eth's and Savannah's memory , I'd like to invite you all to join me in a moment of celebration of two lives who have touched others, Auntie Eth and Savannah Hardin. It warms my heart to think that my beautiful and kind and funny Auntie Eth is probably showering sweet little Savannah with love and hugs and laughs in heaven! Thanks for reading.
