Lol...I'm not so good at extrapolating so, would you care to share with a lay-extrapolater where you might expect a step-mother to dispose of the body of their step-child? Near home, far away from home, in water, buried...?
This might be a good subject for another thread because there are many things to consider. The who, how and where of it and fitting that into the timeline we are working with.
Here I've been a Googling LOL and haven't found much about 'Stepmother Killers' - I tried many ways. I didn't learn much. Several stepmothers had either their husband or family help in the disposal. One placed the boys body in a strip mine and burned him.
Interesting tho, whatever I Googled, both Kyron and Zhara popped up.
And then there was Snow White whose stepmother planned to kill her . . . . have the huntsman kill her in the woods and bring back only her heart, leaving her body there. I bet that story was based on what was common back in the days when Grimm was writing, eh?
I don't think it is a common occurrence for a stepmother to kill the children in the family. I did read one statement where the motivation for stepmothers and bio mothers in child murders is virtually the same. Hence, it could be the way they dispose of bodies is about the same too. IMO
