I agree. I will say that with the money she makes, she can afford to have much better and realistic looking hair extensions put in.

I think she appeared to be heavily sedated.

She's a beautiful woman with a real world sexy figure.

She might have been sedated.....performance anxiety?

She needs to go back and rehire the man that made her a houshold name (by preventing nightmares like this).

She needs to clean herself up and start enjoying the plunder she has made in a reasonable and responsible way.

Brit was not sedated...she was pi$$ed! (it's all over the MTV boards)
She found out right before she was to go on stage what Sarah Silverman was going to say about her and asked MTV to make her change it. They couldn't/wouldn't. Brit was very upset that anyone would take shots at her children like that and refused to go on. Although I know she's no mother of the year, I'm sure she has enough to sense to be offended by that and I'm almost positive that would distract me if I were her. At the last minute, she went on anyway and only gave a half hearted performance...my guess is to punish the VMA's which are already struggling with low ratings, but in her immaturity didn't realize she hurt herself the most.

As for her being fat......uh, I don't think so. If that's fat, then 2/3 of our young girls need to go on a diet. Would anyone tell them that if they had a body like hers? I think not. I think she looks great for just having two children back to back. I don't condone her actions, I think she may be a bit off, but I still think she is a beautiful girl.
I really like "Gimme More". Great dance song!

I hope her new release does well.
All of this ill will towards her is going too be too much someday, I'm afraid. How much can ones psychy take?

btw, her new manger is a yutz. He's the one who almost destroyed Kelly Clarkson's career. I hope she finds a better one! That could help!

What comments did Sarah Silverman make? i normally like her, i find her funny but to me Britney's kids are off limits to jokes. her parenting, ok I will buy that as jokes but to make fun of the kids, no way.

Britney obviously has an incredibly lucky streak, if any one of us behaved thae way she does we would be seeing our kids at their foster home during court supervised visits. i did not see her preformace but she is well on her way to being over, IMO and she will have nobody to blame but her self. off to youtube to find the performance!

I'd say as long as it doesn't involve blatant racism (see: Michael Richards) or homophobic remarks then everything is fair game to a comedian.

IMO she has made racist jokes before that i didn't find too funny, but it is all fair game to her, she even makes fun of the Jewish and she is Jewish herself. Not that that gives her a pass though.

Her lip-synching was terrible, but truly - so was the lip-synching of everyone else who performed during the show. I don't hold much weight with that - it can be hard to lip-synch in certain venues with unfavorable auditory situations.

That said, Britney's performance lacked the confidence and energy of other performances I have seen her do.

Still, the song rocked and she is far from being done professionally.

I dont agree with alot of what brit does, However I do feel bad that she is under a microscope and almost picked on. I dont think she is fat at all, I think she looks cute. She has some meat on her bones. I am afraid she is going to end up dead.

I think most of the comments were comparing her now to what she previously looked like. She does look a bit fat or bloated compared to her younger years, but I still think she looks pretty hot. Didn't like the hair though, because it was obviously fake (no way she could have grown that much since she shaved it all off).

I also can't believe she's still going with the slutty dominatrix look. I surely thought she'd be past that now. She's sorely mistaken if she thinks that is what it takes to sell. Been there, done that.

Just for comparison sake, I like how Christina Aguilera got past that phase of her career and is doing (I think) more classy stuff.

I missed it on the VMA's but i just watched it online....that was so horrible! omg. i feel embaressed for her. she has become so unbelievably trashy. I could have danced better than her....Chris Brown lip synched but he had amazing dance moves...if she was going to lip synch she should have danced ALOT more. Ew shes awful.

I watched Britney last night and thought maybe she had been drinking or had taken something. Hasn't her PR come out with anything responding to everyone's critique yet?

You know, the usual "Britney flew in on the red-eye and had been taking care of her sick children for 2 days blah blah blah" Well, maybe the PR guy didn't have anything to work with afterall.

I love the song, and she could have made a great comeback last night but she blew it. I think she looked pretty, but she's looked better.

Sorry, I don't like ANY comedians who make their living off making fun of other people. There's still a line, IMO, and she went over it. There's a difference between funny and tacky, and SS is just tacky.
