When I first started seeing Jamie Lynn modeling for kids-r-us and heard they were shopping around for acting jobs for her, I thought WTF is wrong with Lynn Spears! This was well before Britney went into a freefall but you could already tell she was in trouble. Why would anyone subject their younger daughter to that lifestyle? Britney has enough money for all of you to live on, let that little girl live a somewhat normal life. It is really a shame, she is a beautiful girl. Lynn needs her head examined - is she really writing a book on parenting?

According to Perez, they have been together for about a year - ok, I read some comments on there saying how many people were actually virgins when they were 16, the only diff is she got caught. 16 years old & dating about a year - that's one thing: 16 years old, dating about a year & living together is totally insane IMO! Lynn should be mortified, instead she & Jamie Lynn sell the exclusive story to OK! magazine. Edited to add "sold the story before they told Britney or Jamie Lynn's employer, Nickelodeon. Classy!"

She will because you are much smarter than GRANDMA SPEARS. I wonder how old she is. A grandma of 3 now. I really thought Jamie Lynn would turn out different. I guess we will have to just wait and see. I hope she turns out to be a wonderful mother, or at least hires someone to be a wonderful mommy for her.

Allowing a 16 year old to live with her boyfriend is nuts.
Allowing a 16 year old to live with her boyfriend and without proper birth control is just plain ignorant.
Lynn Spears should loose her minor children and rights to her grandchildren. She is not fit to parent nor grandparent imo.

I agree. At 16 my kids were still children....they were not mature enough to be in a relationship living with someone. They definitely were not mature enough to be parents.

I hope Nick fires her. She is not a proper example for young girls.

My daughter is definitely still a little girl. She has a very nice boyfriend her own age. He wanted to take her out to dinner & a movie or ice skating for her birthday but my husband said no way, not till you're 16. I personally thought she should've been allowed to go (he can't drive so an adult would have to have been there) but the weird thing is she wasn't the least bit upset that she wasn't allowed. I guess she didn't really feel ready for that yet.
