She definately has potty mouth that's for sure! I saw her on a clip on TMZ a while back and every other word was 'F**CK this or F**CK that..I was like whoa?! Even though she is like 10 years younger then big sis Brit. I still always thought Jamie was the more mature one even with the age diffrence. Sad to say but I bet she will be a better mother then her sister.

At 16, my kids were still children in a sense. They definitely were not mature enough to be in a relationship living with someone. They also were not mature enough to be parents.

I hope Nick fires Jamie. She is not a proper example for young girls imo. Not one to be starring on Nickelodeon.

While I don't think a typical story about a "16 year old is pregnant" would be such a shocker today, I think this story is shocking because we don't often see this of people in the public eye.

Honestly, I have no idea what she's going through or where she's been, but I am afraid for her. Her mother allowed her to live with a MAN (is that legal anyway?), and it looks like she didn't take the proper safeguards with regards to birth control. I don't get it. All the money in the world, and they still can't get it right.

I hope she can surround herself with POSITIVE women role models.

I'm with all of you on the disgust, and it's also so concerning - Jamie Lynn obviously still has a lot of growth to do physically, she's little yet, could probably get two more inches taller, she still looks like a little girl and now she's having a baby?! I'm blown away she was living with the guy. None of it is right, at all.

They were wondering about the guys age on "Fox & Friends" this morning also. They said he is 18 and in LA that's legal. They also said they'd been dating since he was 13. So, who knows WTH?!!!

That made me laugh too!

I have a hard time throwing stones at parents. I know several good loving parents who have grown children who are disasters. As a parent, I try to do the best I can but I realize that much of what will happen with my children is out of my hands. I have compassion for all parents - it's a hard job.

I'm sure that Lynn and her husband did and do their best job with their children. I'm sure there are fronts where they could have done better, but the same can be said of all parents.

Good luck to Jamie. I was having sex at her age and if I had wound up pregnant back then, I would have had an abortion. Some women really want to be young mothers. Bless their hearts!

It occurs to me that the DA could press charges for statutory rape. Consent is irrelevant as we all know.
3 years age differnce could make it even worse. The only person that needs to press charges is the DA. it would be out of JLS's hands. She is a minor and he is a major.

I would feel comfortable throwing stones at any parent that lets their 16 yr old live/sleep with a 19 yr old. Yes, I know I made my mistakes but they were MY fault and MY decision.

My parents certainly didn't want me doing what I was doing, or enable me to do so, when I was 17 and stupid.

I read somewhere this morning that Jamie Lynn may be an emancipated minor. I don't know if that would affect the state's ability to bring charges.
