All Things Dick Cheney

Why does it matter what people post about as long as they are covering the topic and following TOS?

All people are different, some are more interested in technical things, like the number of pellets and distance of the shot.

I am more interested finding out what the political ramifications will be for Cheney lying to the country AGAIN. But like the article I posted above, his real problems are going to come from Libby.

However, I find all the research other people do interesting to read and appreciate their efforts to get to the truth of what happened. And, some of this information might determine whether charges are filed or not, depending on what happens to Mr. Whittington.

If someone else finds this information and discussion boring or irrelevant, I wonder what they are doing reading it?

Hi Reader! Thank You!! I agree~dont like it~dont read. Nore

Sorry--but I don't believe that for a New York minute.

I do not defend Ted Kennedy for leaving the scene of the accident he had that killed Mary Jo. I do not defend his drinking and not talking to LE until later.
He did go to court on charges, basically nothing happened to him. I can't do anything about that now. I can't do anything about Cheney either except present the facts and hope others see them. He handled one of the most serious situations as if he had no one to answer too. And he doesn't. No one gets an answer from Cheney, not even Bush.

In all of this we have a 78 yr old man with a 5mm peice of metal inside his heart. He is too old to remove it. This guy may not respond well to be putting under to operate on. So either something kills this man or sooner or later this piece is gonna kill him. IMO.

We have a recent case in my town of a boy with sickell cell trait dying in boot camp. The ME said he died due to complications from the sickell cell. That would be fine except a video is found of the boy being beaten viciously. Local government tried to block the release of the video. It will be released to the public on Fri. despite the boot camps outrage.
Could our ME have said internal bleeding was due to Sickell Cell when infact it was due to internal injuries? Well we get to see. I don't think anyone will like what they see.

PROBLEMS WITH THE ACCIDENT

1. delay of reporting to LE
2. Delay of reporting to the press.
3. Witness reports accident not a key member of Cheney's staff.
4. Down play of injury. No photos and the victim has a "silent" heart attack. Kept in the hospital for a long period compared to recounts of being "peppered."
5. Amount of birdshot or buckshot not specified by medical staff, drawings show heavy marks.
6. Time of accident. Reported as 6:50 and on LE documents as 6:30. Could shooters see when the sun had already set?
7. The spray pattern on victim. Many more pellets than expected. Higher degree of injury due to pellets lodging deeper in victim.
8. Witness designated to go to the press. Conflicting statements. Was in a vehicle. Did not know why the ambulance came.

Teddy Kennedy could be brought up on the charges he deserves at any time. There is no SOL on murder.

When I start hearing some LLL outrage about what that man got away with, I'll start to give credence to their outrage about the hunting accident.

Until then, I'll state my opinion and watch as people make up facts and tell "their" version of what happened, even though they were sitting in front of their computer monitor at the time of the occurrence.

As for the "presenting of facts", I'm still waiting to see someone post JUST the facts and not their suppositions, distortions and out and out fabrications.

I mean, REALLY now, it's actually being touted as a coverup because Mr. Whittington doesn't want pictures of his wounds in the paper? I am just
  sometimes.

The press is mad because they got snubbed for a local paper who'd report the facts. Then again for the interview. I am    at the poor stations like CNN and MSNBC. They need to put on their big boy undies and get over it. :boohoo: :boohoo:

I would also like the pellets in his body measured to see if they are consistant with the gun and number 7 1/2 load.
Of course that will happen when I can afford to buy a gun like Cheney's which at present is more valuable than my car 5 times over.:p actually I could have a better car but mine runs great and is still in good condition so why spend.

The insinuation is?????

Someone else shot Harry? The VP changed guns after the real shot?

You know this thread would actually be amusing if not for the fact that people walking among us actually have this mentality. I'm with you KrazyKollector, rabid dogs.

Here are some facts that are verifyable against the actual police report:

Pretty interesting. Now who will be the first to question the police chief's veracity? It can't be as simple as a hunting accident....Cheney is involved.....someone must be lying. ;)

Cal

Hey, no one else has volunteered yet so I will. Let me see if I can do this right. Ahem...

"Obviously, the Police Chief is in cahoots with the Secret Service (or not in cahoots, but lost the coin toss). He was wrestled to the ground when he WANTED to do the right thing and report this shooting as Attempted Murder of a friend and hunting buddy in front of a few other witnesses (by bird shot, no less), but the Secret Service "convinced him otherwise" and that it would be to his future career advantage to submit false documentation in the case against the VP of the U.S. The offer of Halliburton stock and free gas fill-ups for life added to to sweetness of the cover-up activities. It was only after the Chief, along with the assistance of Captain Kirk (!) were able to negotiate free gas for the rest of all other LE officers with knowledge of the Attempted Murder, that the revised facts were determined. And although most cover-up attempts by the SS/FBI/etc would be well thought-out to ensure all were on "the same page," they elected NOT to do that this time. They WANTED misinformation and conflicting information presented to the media to report, 24/7. "

There. I have tried the shoe on the other foot. Not sure if it fits.

Calus, you know, it's just not every day that a Vice President shoots someone.

You're exactly right and I think that's the problem. I think Cheney should shoot someone once a week. Then maybe we wouldn't have to listed to all the stupid b.s. that we've been dealing with all week. :)
