I do believe Heath was one of the good guys and not just because he was Aussie.....the rags are digging on him but there are few that can find anything hateful or disgusting to say about him...all in all I think our boy was a troubled yet beautiful young soul who may have had demons haunting him.......All I can say is rest in peace Heath and say hello to Steve and Brockie for us will you mate:blowkiss:
I don't know what went wrong, but I truly believe he would have overcome his problems eventually with the right help.
I even think he might have gotten back together with Michelle. He just needed to "get it together". My son is 27 and he doesn't even want to marry until age 30, much less have a baby. That generation is really having a hard time deciding what they want in life, I think. Very common.
That's why this is such a Shakesperean tragedy to me. Angst, extreme talent,miscommunication, bad timing, struggle for clarity - it's all so common, but he was on CENTER STAGE. Not just our unknown neighbor down the street or a less respected Hollywood person who never seemed to have a clue anyway, much less talent.
For some reason his death has affected me more than the death of most Hollywood people. 1) his age (my son is the same age) 2) he was on his way to greatness, probably 3) he also came from a pretty normal family, full of love, and he loved his own daughter truly.
He COULD have been my neighbor, or my son. IN many ways he seemed quite ordinary, just wanting to go on his Skate board.
