Alleged abuse photos

(Bold Me)
Yes the school documented the fall and said it happened on the premises. There are notes backing this up at the same site as the pictures. And yes Haleigh was taken to the doctors twice for this incident.

Hi Tichad, do you have a link or can you direct me where I can find that info about the other (#1) doctor visit (assuming that the ER is #2) TIA!

I do agree, with the handprint, however the rest of the photos, look like normal bruises, the one of Haliegh that one was documented from school. if you notice on the school medical report the next two lines have been scratced out with a black marker... why?

I think Ron may have some how been involoved, indirectly. As far as Crystal goes, I dont know I think she is an opportunist, if she really felt that these babies were abused she would have done something before now. I dont buy this that she thaught the judge ruled and it was final, because a few weeks ago she stated that her previous lawyer was suppose to file an appeal and didn't, yet she waits til now to do anything.

As I've said, I believe the innocent explanation for the Haleigh photo. But the lines on Jr's thighs, combined with the arm, are so classically known as signs to look for, I believe Haleigh's telling to Crystal that daddy did it with a stick.

As for why Crystal is doing all this... IMO, it's because she is a kind person, but like most pleasers, she is very weak-willed, has an strongly external locus of control (anyone can research its signs and implications), and waits for things or others to happen or do, rather than being proactive and solving her own problems.

She has made huge mistakes, and is still making them now, with Chad, and by allowing others to use her for their own purposes (Mother - where to begin? Attorney - her own publicity.).

I do believe that she had concerns the last few years about Ron's temper, but knowing he loved the children so much, she wasn't sure if he would harm them, or what signs suggested too much or ok. I think until Haleigh went missing, it was simply easier not to risk putting a lot of effort into proving something she was not sure of and possibly suffering the consequences of being wrong.

I think she may have also felt deep down that Ron was a better provider materially and did love his kids.

So she weighed that against things like we are seeing in these photos. I don't think she would even have reported them if her family had not pushed it.

But then... Haleigh goes missing.

I think it is perfectly fitting of her conflict/pain-avoidant personality to be in denial and want to avoid going down there until she could no longer hope Haleigh would be found safe in the trees or something.

We saw in interviews how she was supportive of Ron at that time (and even tried on GR) while her mother and cousin pushed the battle.

I think that after being in Satsuma the last month, Crystal has been bombarded with people in and outside her family telling her horror stories/rumors about Misty hanging out with SOs and drug dealers, leaving the kids alone, etc., and worse, not giving straight answers about that night.

On top of that about Misty, she was told stories/rumors like the attorney has described about Ron being horribly abusive. She knows he loves the children, but she also knows his temper. (ETA: She also sees him strongly supporting Misty and claiming to know what Misty did and did not do that night while he was at work - and even marrying her, trusting her enough to establish her as the permanent caretaker/mommy of the kids. I'd freak from that alone!)

I think it's understandable that a person of Crystal's character would react this way in that situation. Her daughter missing and who knows what else, sedated, everyone telling her she needs to act, including her very controlling mother (a story in itself) and a big name lawyer who's come to town framing things like she has, saying Crystal would be remiss if she failed to act now.

...Ugh - sorry for the ramble. More than anyone wanted to know, but there's the basic gist of what I think going on with these pictures and the whole thing.

/ IMO/JMO/YMMV :twocents:

Part of it is counting the days she has been missing from her family, part of it was this injury that happened in school, and part of it is when Crystal did not return the children home. So really, considering Haleigh has Turner's, she has not missed that much school.:)
Could you please show where you learned Crystal did not return the children home. This is the first time I've heard this. TIA

Apparently that's why this is called a rumor thread, anybody can throw anything out there with nothing to base it on and ignore all inquests...Ooops, what do you know, this isn't even the "rumor thread"...anyhow can anyone at least tell me if the pics that Crystal took were taken on November 16th? I would appreciate it -TIA

I don't believe in spanking,I hate it,had way too much growing up,but I am really concerned of Crystal's motives and timing and as a Mom I would have taken every second on camera to talk to my child.I don't understand this.

I would want to too, winterrose. But I'm afraid the sad truth is, if we took more than 20 seconds on camera to talk to our child, the network wouldn't carry it. :(

/ramble

We keep saying "Keep the focus on Haleigh," and it's true that we need the perp to see her as a person rather than an object, but even more important right now is to "Keep the focus on Finding Haleigh."

They aren't the same, really. I doubt the detectives are focused on things about Haleigh; they are focused on things about suspects and the circumstances and environment from which she was taken. :sheesh:

/end ramble :crazy:/

I agree about the spanking. :) I did swat a few times with my hands, but that's all. I can see how some can do it in an ok way, but my boys didn't need it.

(See my last ramble if you want to know what I think about Crystal's motives. :o)

So. Was little Haleigh in school on that Monday before she disappeared in the early morning hours on Tuesday? Thanks in advance!

Hi Texasmommy39!!

I've seen you post this on a couple of threads and am very curious...with or without looking at these "obstructions"...what is your take on what happened to little Haleigh? Thanks :)

ETA: You could move it to the Theories Thread...I'd hate to hijack this new thread. TIA!!
I have a theory and I have placed it in named thread. I hope to be a new set of eyes and lungs.LOL:woohoo:

Jholi, do you know the answer to whether or not Haleigh was in school that Monday? TIA!

LOL What Monday? :waitasec: ;)

Heck, I can't manage to pull my head out of my reveries of psychological analysis of these families enough even to watch 24!

Attendance in school is mandatory if the child is 6 and older.

So, since Haleigh is 5, her attendance doesn't matter in the state of Florida?

Back in some of the discussions it was stated that since Haleigh had been enrolled in school, her attendance was mandatory and absences would have to be addressed. That is just what I recall.

I wasn't sure how to read your post nomoresorrow :waitasec: so at the risk that you weren't being sarcastic :)

There is no timestamp for those pictures. There were two reasons for that outlined in art harris' article.

IIRC, 1. When the lawyer got the camera the memory card was erased (have to go back and reread if Lawyer accidently erased it or it was done prior to her having it).

2. CS had turned off the timestamp feature because she didn't like the look of dates on a print.

One thing for sure is that the school nurse has been interviewed. She is a nurse and could state whether or not she feels that Haleighs fall could have produced the kind of damage that is depicted in pic #1. She could also state whether or not she has seen Haleigh with any other injuries. By what I am actually seeing in this pic, there would have almost had to have been scratches, bruises, or scrapes along with this facial injury. If there are none, then that is suspicious to me. I would like for a medical professional to explain why there would not be other bruising along with it if that is the case.

JMO, but I do think that some of us are projecting our feelings about Ronald or Crystal into our opinions of whether or not these injuries could have been caused by Haleigh's playground fall.

Being the Devil's Advocate, the problem I have with the school nurse's interview or account of Haleigh's injury is that the nurse and other school employees, teachers, administrators, by law they are compelled to report any suspicions of abuse. Suppose even if she was suspect, she did not report anything, for whatever reason, and now she's trying to cover up her lack of following the law by insisting the injury indeed was the result of a school accident.
I am not saying this happened, but rather just wanted to make a point that the people we trust our children to, aren't always doing their jobs.
We have a case here in a Phoenix school right now that is under investigating for a Mercury spill at the high school and that rules were not followed and parts of the incidents covered up because someone was amiss in not reporting what should have been brought to the attention of authorities.
It happens.

I remember the discussion as well. People posted a lot of documents, links, etc. and I remember thinking people did prove (to me at least) that her attendance would fall under the guidelines for mandatory reporting (or whatever you call it). But I could be wrong LOL

Wouldn't this nurse have to take pictures of and document any injuries on school property for insurance liability?

A head injury whether it be to a child or adult is dangerous, IMO. She should have been taken to the ER to be checked out and then watched closely for sleepiness, nausea, and vomiting.

ETA: Natasha Richardson, for example!

Ok...here is what I don't get. Any of you that has kids, unless you have bubble wrapped them. know they get hurt. Falls, broke bones etc. That injury on Haleigh's face was not bad enough for her to miss all that school...what am I missing?
