Wish I wasn't at work so I could see it right now! He really tickled me last night. :blowkiss:

That's what I've been thinking - that Amanda, Gina, and Michelle may have been held somewhere else initially, then brought to this house at some other point in time.
It's been reported by multiple sources that this child is Amanda's daughter. Also grandaughter doesn't look at all like the girl with Amanda.
Why should the operator have keep her on the phone longer? She knew who she was. She knew where she was. She knew what phone number she was calling from. She knew the suspects name. She tried to find out what the suspect was wearing, but the girl seemed unable to give more information. The call was over, so she ended it.
She then looked up the case number, and relayed that to the supervisors. So they would know what was going on. The operator sounded thorough and professional to me.
I cannot imagine being tied up for 9 or more years, only being released when the captors were present. That will cause them physical problems along with the other problems they will have.
Meg Kelly reporting:
2 females held in basement (470 sq ft)
1 female held in upstairs? room
3 mugshots just shown on Fox
unfortunately, we can't trust anyone these days. I am guilty of sitting in my back yard coming up with evil things my neighbors may be doing...lol guess it's just a way to say what if and be observant of things going on...which I developed after being here on WS!
Can any of you imagine living in a house where you just never went down to the basement or up to the attic? I have been in every square inch of every house I lived in. I haven't been in the crawl space of the current house, admittedly, but rooms within the house? I just can't imagine not knowing there were three women concealed in my house and not ever knowing a thing. I wonder if the wife/daughter/son ever lived in that particular house.
To me as well. I really think people expect operator to start jumping up and down while screaming that Amanda has been found. If she did that, she would be totally wrong. Operators shouldn't be getting excited. That is not their job.
If the operator got emotional then the operator can not do their job properly. Operator has to stay calm and collected, which is what this woman did.
The only thing that bothered me about the 911 call was when the person said something like 'we'll send one when a car becomes available'. Like, the operator had no sense of urgency coming from the call. It is like being a Doctor I guess, there is a certain level of compassion and understanding of the caller that needs to take place along with the fact finding. Also, the operator never seemed to ask the questions I would think needed to be asked regarding her safety until they get there.
Fox News: Meg Kelly & Judge Napolitano
Judge N: Report of child naked crawling in backyard, and LE did not go in the house to check.
I'm guilty of being anti social! Of my front, side and catercorner neighbors, which would be 5 total, I've only been inside one of their homes. And that was only because it was an extenuating circumstance of needing to use their phone! I'm suspicious of one of the catercorner neighbors because they have really nice cars which seldom leave the house. It's just odd.
Now it is just a matter of figuring out how to convince our neighbors to let us take a tour of their 'lovely home'...
