The anonymous post that started the rumor still lives on the internet. So yes, I know what I'm talking about.:seeya:I guess because you know enough about it to tell SMK she is wrong. You must have proof then, right?

OK, so they pulled the story out of thin air???![]()

I believe so. I remember how the story evolved among the more feverish... pro guilt commenters.
So they just happen to concoct a story which was actually rooted in the truth? Rooted in Amanda's past? They must be psychic....... :waitasec:I believe so. I remember how the story evolved among the more feverish... pro guilt commenters.

Well, if they intuited a college prank, and that it had something to do with staging a robbery, then they had very sharp perception, indeed. No, the story they concocted out of a single anonymous post on some blog has nothing to do with what she describes. The only common root I see is a college prank.
http://www.thedailybeast.com/articl...ox-i-ll-be-a-fugitive-if-they-convict-me.htmlAmanda Knox: Ill Be A Fugitive If They Convict Me
An Italian newspaper says the babyfaced Seattle native vowed to go on the lam if an appellate court upholds her conviction in the trial of the murder of Meredith Kercher.

If there is a rule bookand surely there islisting all the things you shouldnt say if you are on trial for murder, one would think that If they convict me, Ill become a fugitive must be somewhere near the top of the list. The second thing on the list might well be, When all of this is over, I want to visit the victims parents.
But thats exactly what Amanda Knox, the now 26-year-old Seattle native who is appealing her 2009 conviction for the murder of her British roommate Meredith Kercher, told Italys top national newspaper La Repubblica ahead of the last day of defense closing arguments in her second appellate trial, now being held in Florence.
What the second hand prank story evolved into was a group rape in ski masks.Well, if they intuited a college prank, and that it had something to do with staging a robbery, then they had very sharp perception, indeed.
What the second hand prank story evolved into was a group rape in ski masks.
OK, well, that is definitely an exaggeration and untrue. And rightly never used in any of the trials. What the second hand prank story evolved into was a group rape in ski masks.
It doesn't make the staging theory stronger. But that doesn't alter the fact that she had been involved in a staged burglary in the past, prank or not.
It was still a mental reference point.
Not having read the blog you refer to, it's still interesting without the embellishment. JMO
Other evidence convince me he murdered alone. It's a curious fact that is not fully proven but it is not a problem for my scenario.
I believe they are innocent and the evidence supports it. Is this a problem?
The evidence that Guede murdered is aplenty. The wounded hand is an element for which there is no absolute proof and on it's own it proves nothing. If there was Guede's blood on the sheets or the handbag for example, that would make this element much stronger.
Just wanting to give this addendum while Amanda's prank is on my mind:
She does say clearly that she "apologized for the distress caused" - to my thinking, an April Fool's prank should be funny , and not aimed at causing any distress. So there is something odd there, just noting it now..... :waitasec:
I thought Guede's cut hand was more or less generic fact.
And that he had said something about being cut with the knife of the guy who said "black man found, found guilty" -
guess I am missing the point of the argument.... :waitasec:
I think there would be a distinct set of drops, for example on the bed sheets where he left the purse with his DNA or on the purse itself. There was a mass of blood on the floor, yes, but they tested individually a lot of isolated blood traces on various items. No Guede's blood was found. Also, the blood on the handle and the light switch is Meredith's, not Guede's.
It seems to me he either wasn't bleeding that much (fingertips bleed profusely, the part that he cut, not necessarily so much) or wrapped his hand with something immediately.
If he had gloves, that he took off before, he could have put a glove on, too.
There's also the possibility that the cut is unrelated, happened later and Guede added it into the story.
Well, it might explain how a prank escalated into an altercation. I think its quite illuminating, myself. It doesn't make the staging theory stronger.
Having some experience in staging burglaries she would have at least staged the theft of the laptops. JMO.![]()

it's up in the icons--- click on the smiley face next to the font iconYes, I agree. But I see what they are pointing to in that picture, how come there is no arrow going towards the purplish part at the crook of his finger? I would think that would be from where he got cut when the knife would have slipped from his grip, at least that is what I was thinking this whole time. Where is that scratch head icon.....
