No, it's an interview with Star, and she gave them nearly their entire chat history

Sorry but Radar has them as well. I guess she's getting paid by Radar only and then Radar is in turn selling them to other tabloid trash type mags? Or is she double dipping and giving them to both Radar and Star? Perhaps to double the bucks for her bang?

She may not realize it but releasing those texts does not help her look any better either, IMO. Reading them it appears that she was right there with him about marrying an American (her of course) for him to stay out of the Italian prison if convicted. It appears she only got really ticked off at him when she found out he was seeing another woman. Then the ranting (and cursing) came from her side. I hope she was well compensated for her giving those to Radar. Well enough that she doesn't need to rely on a job anytime soon to support herself. I also hope that she doesn't mind being alone, without a man for companionship, as I doubt many men would really want a serious relationship with her now after reading how she aired her dirty laundry for everyone to see.

MOO
I agree, it was not very big of her to run to the media. Of course she is very young and possibly will view it differently in 10 years.

I thought we already agreed that Amanda knew Rudy? Remember, Meredith knew him from hanging out downstairs with him, you were the one who pointed that out. And Amanda was also there, so thus by using your reasoning, Amanda knew him too.

No, I very clearly said that I did not know if Meredith considered him a friend, acquaintance of her friends downstairs, or a total stranger. I was only countering your saying that Rudy's rape of Meredith would be in the "stranger" category, because other people said that the two had met one time, the same for Amanda. Meeting one time among mutual friends carries no implication of a further relationship. That would have to be supplied by further evidence.

Probably she is running hither and yon - it's not admirable, although the temptation to (in her words) "let America see the real Raffaele" was probably very strong :giggle:

I do not. However, he must have some sort of criminal history since the police ID'd him by his fingerprints being in the system.
Guede's prints were on file with Immigration Office.

Very young? Isn't she around the same age as RS and AK? So then if this lady is the same age (or thereabouts) as RS and AK, and is very young then doesn't that make RS and AK very young?

Is this an example of "circular reasoning"? How can it be both? How can there evidence of tampering and manipulation yet at the same time we won't know what was tampered and manipulated because there would be no evidence of it? Shouldn't it be one or the other? Or is this to try to confuse and deflect?

And to answer the question about Rudy and his violence towards women I offer this:
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/297...er-trial-Rudy-Guede-was-violent-to-women.html

ETA: I think the following is my favorite part of the above article.

"Guede has previously complained that he has been falsely accused of being a drug dealer, a drug user and a criminal, and that instead he led a “tranquil and serene” life."

But let's take the prosecution's theory of some kind of sexual assault of Meredith with Amanda involved. By using your standard of previous character foreshadowing in your example of Rudy annoying women and taking their bags - I could say that Amanda having one-night stands show that she has the propensity to use people for short periods of time to satisfy her sexual urges.

Have you noticed that I have never once stated something like that on this thread?

Yet it seems to be perfectly ok to equate Rudy being a general annoyance and taking bags to having the propensity to slit throats and rape women.

I believe you just did.

Whomever told that rumor about Amanda and her pranks would have surely also included pranks that involved knives. If there was a past history of Amanda and any prank involving a knife, it would have been told repeatedly and often as it would paint her in a more disturbing light. Kind of like the to loud party that involved "rock throwing at cars" and such.

MOO

We don't know if she used knives or not, but we do know that the prank involved a staged/fake robbery. This has similarity to this case in that this case involves purported staged burglary. Yet, foe years, this rumor was just a rumor and no one of the group involved confirmed it, that I am aware of.

So I don't' see where you are getting from that we would have heard something about it "over and over" if it were true? It was true, and yet we only heard about it from one guy a long time ago?

Being a nuisance doesn't imply violence, IMO.

If we can jump from RG breaking and entering to murder because he was a nuisance, it isn't much of a stretch to go from a staged break-in prank to a staged break-in gone wrong.

ITA and said same thing.

No, do not skew my post please. I was saying that to show that this is the kind of logic involved with taking Rudy's annoyance and using it to claim a propensity for murder.

In my post, I made it very clear that I was just making a point, and ended by saying that I would never make that jump with Amanda, and yet it seems ok for people to do that with Rudy.

Right, from my age, anyone under middle age is very young :giggle:

Wow. Sollecito got himself mixed up with another very, unpleasant woman.
I know  When I got to the part where she said, "Maybe it's time for America to see the real Raffaele" I could hear his father saying, "You ninny, why were you on chat with an American?" ;)

What is fact is that a negative tmb test does NOT prove it isn't blood and luminol is the more sensitive test of the two.

do you have an explanation for why, while testifying, PS felt compelled to lie about performing the TMB tests if the test/results had no significance?

  • #117
While we're on the discussion of lies, did you ever come up with a logical reason for RS to exaggerate the arrival time at the police station by some 5 hours?

this wasn't directed at me, but, yes, that still makes me think "wth?"

considering we brainstormed reasons in an earlier thread, is it as easy as the hypothesized "english as a second language" mistake? IDK.

I doubt the language was a problem, he seems very clear even over explains it IMO as hours and hours and hours. Which is simply not true as far as how long she was waiting.

I just don't understand this because at this point how can you not be clear on the facts. Like I said if you're going to be giving interviews you need to have facts straight and don't go against the evidence. RS has major issues with exaggeration, much like his Kate Mansey interview.

I don't know, my only point I was making is that a negative tmb doesn't prove something is not blood for a fact. It weakens the argument, ill agree.

Is there a quote from this? All I read is that no confirmatory blood tests were done. That is not a lie.
