Some people seem to think the entire case against [modsnip] was some sort of huge conspiracy to frame an American girl.
Every police officer, forensic examiner, every juror & judge conspired to do this.

Prove the conspiracy.....

BBM: Just jumping in and adding :

And what about Rafaelle, an Italian citizen ? Were they out to frame "one of their own" ?

He was tried and convicted right along with Amanda.

:moo:

Really a quick google shows who this guy is. It is not just this case, Nor the monster of Florence case. He is a corrupt slug. I am hoping that again the next court will find something else to try him on.
This justice system is not justice. IT is shameful.

Then it's a very good thing that the "corrupt slug" had absolutely nothing to do with the appeal.

Any complaints about the prosecutor that argued the appeal? Is he also a "corrupt slug"? Are all Italians "corrupt slugs", or only the prosecutors?

It's such sadness for everyone involved.
I feel badly for Amanda and Raffaele's parents tonight.

I don't. They STILL get to hug their kids.

That's left out.

Along the same lines as...."there is zero evidence"

True, but you know, I always sense with my own kids, horrid as it may be were they murdered, I would find it even harder to stomach if they, themselves, violated a human life like that. It would kill me more. And if I still had them around to hug, it would be with a heavy heart, if at all.

I think they've known all along ... why else would Knox's family immediately hire a PR Firm to spin the facts? Why else would Sollecito's father have told him that he needed a Plan B?

I'm sure their parents are in denial.

Yes, but I do feel more badly for Raffaele's parents, since Amanda is currently out free thousands of miles away and seems like it will be that way until something is done about it.

Sollecito is free to do whatever he likes in Italy. His passport was confiscated because he is deemed a flight risk. Knox can do whatever she likes in the US, but she is already prevented from travel to most countries due to her convictions.

I believe the mind has ways and tricks to get it to think what the person wants it to think. I have no doubt that Amanda and Raffaele's parents have done every trick possible to convince themselves of their daughter and son's innocence.

It's a scary world we live in that innocent people like Amanda Knox and Rafaelle Sollecito can be persecuted time and again just to fit into a corrupt agenda!!

:twocents:

What is scary is what Meredith Kercher went through the night she was brutally murdered ...

It was so brutal, when the demonstration of how Meredith was murdered was shown to the Jury, the entire courtroom was cleared out of RESPECT for Meredith.

There was no "corrupt agenda" ... this was about justice and putting the killers behind :jail:

IMO, the outcry against Amanda will be stronger when Raffaele is sitting in prison for a crime she was convicted of too. She'll be going to Starbuck's, the gym, parties.

The inequity is crushing.

The conscious mind will go to great lengths to shield itself from what the subconscious knows to be true.

Oh :please: Rafaelle ... come clean ...

The US enters into a treaty for a reason. The US is not going to ignore it because Amanda doesn't want to face consequences.

Oh I'm aware of the treaty but the US doesn't always do the right thing. I personally think that she should be treated just as any convicted murderer is treated and handed over to the Italian officials. That said, I'm predicting that it will not go that smoothly. I was just curious as to how MK's country will act if it sees that the US is fighting the extradition of the convicted murderer. Just thinking out loud. I do hope that she has to serve her time for her role in taking Meredith's life.:twocents:

Both are trapped in their own country for now, so they can both drink starbucks coffee. When the Supreme Court rules, then there might be some inequity, but it won't go on forever. Knox will be extradited and there's no reason for the US to refuse to cooperate.

I'm with you. I do hope that he comes forward with the real story.
