I'm gonna guess she was waiting on the school bus since she disappeared from a named location near 7 am that's essentially an intersection of a neighborhood loop (typical school bus route) and since she had a backpack. We had a lakehouse in Livingston not far from there, we would have never been concerned about being kidnapped. It's definitely not a high traffic area.

Parents get texts when their kids don't show up for school right? About what time do those texts generally go out?
This is a great question. We know Audrii didn't get on the bus at all - the town is so small (5k) I am wondering if the bus driver either a) knew the fam personally and called them, or b) alerted school authorities once all other kids were delivered safely....
the following i put as a spoiler to you @MAHBOOBOO bc it is off topic.

Praying for the safe return of this beautiful girl. As a mum, I just couldn't imagine :(

This is a slight concern for me. I’ve heard of them that far north. A small concern but still possibility. (There are reported alligators in Lake Livingston).
Honestly, bull sharks have been known to end up in Lake Livingston after swimming up the rivers. That’s a scary thought.

Mother and father don't live together?

I wondered why the father would have a roommate (the guy Don who supposedly drove Audrii t the bus stop) since I assumed the parents and the daughter all lived together.

Did parents share custody? Or did Audrii live with dad permanently ?

Probably has no bearing on anything.....
though....you have the fact that a man of no relation was living in the house with an 11 year old girl. I dunno....
was mom ok with that?

I don't believe either parent has custody but that is just my opinion, not stated as fact.
It may be enlightening to check social media, which might clear some things up.

IF Audrii is in the river, and she is not found by divers tomorrow, she may surface soon.......:(
Are there currents there, or is it mostly a marina?
BBM Unless she is in the missing vehicle...in the water...

Matthews said police began the search for Audrii at the woodline behind her dad's house because it leads to the state park. Audrii likes to explore the woods and look at the animals, Matthews said. She said the search then expanded to a dam because the man who dropped her off at the school bus said he went there afterward.

"I'm being told that they possibly found her backpack in this area, but no signs of her," Matthews said.

Seriously? This is the 'caretaker' who dropped this beautiful vulnerable 4 ft 1 child off to school @ 7 am?
May be an image of 1 person and text

Not necessarily the tats ... it's the selection.

Hope the family has answers soon !
So sorry for this young Audrii.

I think they are looking for people who spotted the vehicle and to look for it on their cameras. <modsnip: No link to an approved source for that information> There is a Find Audrii Cunningham FB page I don’t think I can link to. I can’t remember rules on Missing Persons FB pages.

Does the missing truck belong to "her favorite person?"

Same on your opinion. Perhaps the grandmother but that’s my opinion lol.

Today I saw a news report and they are reporting she was last seen with a red "hello kitty" backpack. I received the Amber Alert yesterday at 8:51pm as I am within 2 hours or so of that location. I was here before this alert went out because of this case though so I was responding to other cases. The Amber Alert says she was last seen with a camo backpack. So that has changed somehow. I was disappointed it took that long to get out an alert and I was also disappointed no vehicle description was included in the Amber Alert. I guess maybe they are keeping the investigation close to the vest but the camo backpack and seeing a vehicle today that was not included in the alert bothers me.

We’re camping at our spot in Lake Livingston now. Arrived this morning but took a different route to avoid the area where the marina is. It’s absolutely freezing here and incredibly windy off the water. She’s all we can think about. Praying she’s found very soon.

ADMIN NOTE:

The ONLY social media allowed are posts by MSM reporters, announcements by law enforcement, or an Admin of an approved group support page (usually a page run by family).

The group support pages we have seen regarding this case do not appear to have family members as part of the Admin team, so information from them is not allowed.

The Rules: Social Media - Facebook, Twitter, etc.

That's exactly what her Dad is saying on social media in his request for help - she did not make it to the bus this morning. That's a horrible scenerio.
Yes, that’s extremely ominous.

Does not inspire confidence. I’m afraid for this child.

I’m sorry - what do you mean it “took so long” to get an alert out? The father called the cops at like 7pm. Not sure what you want, everyone complains about how strict an amber alert needs to be, they finally loosen the restrictions, and there’s still complaints. That car wasn’t missing as homeboy was seen talking to investigators standing against it.
In addition, it seems the school district's system may not have alerted to her absence until the end of the school day. Further, I think the Dad works out of town multiple days in a row. So I can see how it all took some time (matter of a couple hours). But the AA went out very quickly once all the facts were gathered, IMO. It wasn't delayed.

****
Crews with Texas EquuSearch showed up at Lake Livingston to look for the girl around 6 a.m. Saturday after search efforts were paused Friday evening around 5 p.m. On Friday, the search was focused on an area near the south end of the lake. The Texas Department of Public Safety said the area was a "location of interest" and that leads led them there.

*****
Saturday morning, DPS identified what they're calling a vehicle of interest in the search for Audrii – a dark blue Chevrolet Suburban.

Is this Don's vehicle? Is the alert to ask if anyone has seen it in particular areas that day?
I see Texas EquuSearch is involved now. Good.
