Maybe LE sprayed the home with Luminol to check for traces of blood? speculation.I'm curious to know why hazmat suits are needed inside that residence. I can understand the garage but not the home, itself.
http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/blood-bruce-mcarthur-vehicle-auto-shop-1.4497570Vetere said officers told him they found blood in the vehicle in the weeks following.
"It was a trace amount of blood," said Vetere. "None of us even noticed it, even the dismantler didn't notice it."
Has this man been found? Hes older than the victim profile but similar complexion and facial hair.

Unfortunately, there's only 4 posts.
Earlier today, CP24 reported that the male resident of the home had to wear a hazmat suit to enter his home and remove something. Apparently, the couple was seen entering the home of a neighbour. I guess they are not allowed back in at this time.
yep. Once the police targeted the home, the elderly residents were given very short notice that they were to leave. Good to see the neighbours have taken them in, hopefully. It must be shocking to hear that.....now this!
Wondering how the people who bought the home feel about it all now, could they back out of the sale and would they want to?I'm just jumping off your post to inquire as to who "pays" for the clean-up of the residence once the home is released back to the home owners? I'm guessing it's the home owners responsibility but that just seems so unfair as they are victims too. jmo
From my understanding, it's the homeowners responsibility, sadly. So far it looks like LE aren't doing too much damage which is good for them. They are mostly just removing items, not destructing the property.I'm just jumping off your post to inquire as to who "pays" for the clean-up of the residence once the home is released back to the home owners? I think since the couple gave him permission to be on property to store his work belongings, and to do work on their property....they are responsible. If they hired him, then house insurance would step in to repair?
Maybe the Victims of Crime fund?

I've heard of cases where LE have had to rip up flooring and drywall.

Also about the Leaside couple. Let's not print their names on here. JMO
They are also appalled by some of the inaccurate information reported in the media, including the assertion that McArthur lived at their home.
Ive seen people claiming to be my neighbours. I dont know them. They all have comments about (Smith) and I, the house, Fraser said. Youre being talked about on TV, and youre watching it. Its strange.
Sorry not a fly on the wall, so havent the foggiest. From initial photos, the garage looked rammed with things, having that turned out onto the driveway, will require someone to put it back. Please clarify what you think they are responsible for??
