Didn't one article say he also house sat for people? Wonder what he was up to when house sitting? Guess those places all need a thorough checking out too. IMO

If I let someone use my place while I was away and anything 'happened', my insurance wouldn't cover it. IMO
They are very particular, don't want to pay out if at all possible. IMO

Please clarify what you think they are responsible for??

This statement was about who is responsible for paying for repairs after the police get done tearing the house apart. If you read the previous page someone did ask about this and that's where the conversation carried from.

With all due respect, we have no idea of what they're doing within the house. Whatever it is, they could leave one heck of a mess.
The poor couple who own the house look totally shocked, as Im sure they are. There goes the property value.
I don't disagree with you. It's awful, and likely traumatic for the couple. I was just answering a question, though. I'm speculating that LE aren't ripping up flooring and drywall, as BM didn't live here. He had access to the garage and worked on the property.

The Mark Twitchell case out of Edmonton was a complete blackout. Dateline, or 48 Hours.. one of those shows had an episode, that wasn't allowed to be shown in Canada.

Can you imagine how “violated” you would feel....all your personals....:tantrum:

I don’t thnk the police would enter house and start “tossing the joint” ...lol...the search warrant would probably stipulate where they can search, and for how long. I would hope they would use some common sense and respect.
If the garage contents were all Mr M’s, im sure they wouldnt want that stuff back into the garage when search finished. Could they rent a dumpster and dispose?

Sorry not a fly on the wall, so havent the foggiest. From initial photos, the garage looked rammed with things, having that turned out onto the driveway, will require someone to put it back.
What are LE looking for inside? Scratching my head here, maybe the search warrant stipulates something? Parts in freezers, under crawl spaces?

Snipped by me.

They may be looking for crime scene (s) that have been cleaned up. I think it likely the victims were lured into a home or homes, where they were killed. Unlikely to have been his own apartment, because of needing to move the bodies down an elevator.

I wonder if any dates of missing men correspond with dates the older couple were away?

I've been following this case quietly. My sincere condolences to the victims loved ones.
With him being a landscaper, he would have a wood chipping machine most likely. If that's the case, I doubt these victims will be found whole. (Really hate typing that, but unfortunately, it's a possibility.)

Most cottagers go May 24th - Sept or Oct.. i wonder if they ever came home to ck on house? Maybe not if they knew BM was in and out.

I used to work for Victim Services. If people are victims of crime that requires a clean up, there are funds available to help them pay for those services. I really hope police called victim services for this couple.

The only thing the funds cannot be accessed forms clean up in suicides. In that case it is the families responsibility to clean it themselves or pay to have it cleaned. Hopefully that has changed, but that’s the way it was when I was in the field.

Elsewhere in the thread someone mentioned a neighbour at Thorncliffe complaining about him using the garbage chute very late at night, though...

Also would like to say I appreciate the meticulous and logical outlook within this thread/ board so much. I'm in a "discussion" group on Facebook about this case and people are literally saying they are mediums and competing to give the most sensationalist "visions" about this case. Phooey!!

This is very interesting. It changes what they're saying from "people are making things up" to "people assumed he was living there because he was there frequently". And they may not have know about that at all. In truth, if they didn't come to check, there's a strong likelihood that the neighbours are more aware of how often he was at their property than they are.

If they don't find the remains, wondering if they will end up searching any landfill (having read he made a whole lot of noise using the garbage shoot late at night as per the neighbor).
