Seems the neighbour heard him RECENTLY.....fwiw.

I'm speculating but given that he recently tried to scrap a number of cars I wouldn't be surprised if he recently started trying to get rid of things from his apartment, where they found "evidence" of unspecified type...

I don’t thnk the police would enter house and start “tossing the joint” ...lol...the search warrant would probably stipulate where they can search, and for how long. I would hope they would use some common sense and respect.
If the garage contents were all Mr M’s, im sure they wouldnt want that stuff back into the garage when search finished. Could they rent a dumpster and dispose?

Wouldn't it all be taken away by police, part of the evidence? That gives LE time to go through it thoroughly.

I wondered that too, but its been sitting out in pouring rain all night and morning? I think they took what they wanted already.

Wouldn’t be surprised if he had suspicions of police getting close. Did someone at car wreckers tip him off? Or did he have episodes of no killing?
Have noticed there are a few bodies washing up??

It's interesting that Courtice is completely west of the city where Madoc is completely east...just an observation.

Highway 7 is an easy travel route between these two locations.

I read a CBC report dated Jan 18 stating that although there are no bodies yet, police have an idea of how they died. Any ideas on how they could determine that? Also, I wonder what lead them to BM? Online activity, rumours?

My guess is photos, or trophys.

So Saturday afternoon I took a drive by the Madoc property. It is 80kms North of Belleville, very very remote. On the way up, there are countless abandoned barns. Many right off the highway with easy access. There are also multiple swamps, some that are part of Nature Reserves with parking and boardwalks, again with easy access off the highway. There are SO many places a body or parts could be dumped never to be found, it is actually pretty crazy. I am worried they might never find the bodies if he doesn't start talking.

This is very interesting. It changes what they're saying from "people are making things up" to "people assumed he was living there because he was there frequently". And they may not have know about that at all. In truth, if they didn't come to check, there's a strong likelihood that the neighbours are more aware of how often he was at their property than they are.
Do you think he'd really be inside the home though? The arrangement sounded like he had access to the garage to store his equipment and supplies, and did work in their yards. He certainly didn't reside there at least.

Good point. Wonder if there's a door into the house from the garage at their place.

I heard that he would sometimes housesit, not sure if he did for this couple. Maybe he would take care of their indoor plants while they were away?

Has been all over the media from the moment of the arrest....... surprised this is the first you are hearing. (okay, it's only 2, but that's still a lot in a short span of time)

Sold a car in Courtice and was intercepted by police last week entering an auto-wrecking yard with another vehicle: https://www.thestar.com/news/gta/20...llage-murder-suspect-sold-van-owner-says.html

On Friday, citing an unnamed source, CP24 reported that McArthur was intercepted by police when he allegedly tried to enter an auto wrecking yard with a vehicle that had blood in the trunk.

:what:

Only the couple who gave him permission to be on their property knows the answer...........
I for one, would be totally p*SS*d with this sicko, no matter how little involvement he had with anything of mine.
I 'm sure the families must be in a rage at this point, and so they should.

The arrogance of his sister to cry foul !! The LE stated they had evidence for the arrest, I'm sure it was good. They probably wanted this demon as much as everyone else. I will add here... I bet there is someone else who knows everything about this savage. They will only be able to hide so long.....

Wondering if maybe they had a cat, like Selim appeared to have and like Andrew had, or pet birds?
Also thinking that a guy who allegedly kills people, would not be hesitant to break in to the house, perhaps leading his " guests " to presume he lived there?
all speculation, imo.

I'm well aware of the van he sold but haven't heard of any other vehicles. You said "he recently tried to scrap a number of cars" yet I've seen nothing of the sort.

I've given you link saying he sold a car to Dom's Auto Parts in Courtice, which the police later purchased; the same link says he was intercepted entering an autowrecking yard in a separate instance. This is two incidents in which he was disposing of his car in a way that would result in it being scrapped/ torn apart. This is two cars. Therefore, he twice tried to scrap/ dispose of cars in ways that would lead to them being disassembled. The police intercepted both times, and in the first case it was lucky they did, as per Domenic Vetere who owns Dom's Auto Parts:

If he was trying to get rid of the car, if he was smart he would have taken it to a place where he knows they’ll put it directly into a press, which we don’t do. We keep the car here for parts for a while.”
Generally when you sell your car to an auto parts yard and you accept the initial low-ball offer, you are trying to get rid of it asap.

Also, as for last week, the SECOND car - from the same link I shared with you.

On Friday, citing an unnamed source, CP24 reported that McArthur was intercepted by police when he allegedly tried to enter an auto wrecking yard with a vehicle that had blood in the trunk."

This is not the car he sold in Courtice. He already sold it, and the investigators took possession. This is anotehr vehicle he was driving more recently when they intercepted him. So here we have two vehicles, which is more than one. This is what I meant by "a number". If this is a semantic issue then I will admit - there were two. Two cars. (Two is a number, higher than one.)

https://www.dailyxtra.com/bruce-mca...ed-missing-man-skanda-navaratnam-source-83842

"Bruce McArthur, the man charged with the murders of Selim Esen and Andrew Kinsman, once dated Skandaraj “Skanda” Navaratnam, a gay Toronto man who went missing in 2010, according to a source that spoke to Xtra."

Seems they were together for quite a while. Link also says Skanda had been to and had a key to the Leaside home under investigation:
He characterizes Navaratnam’s relationship with McArthur as long-standing and not simply a fling.Over the years he saw Navaratnam and McArthur together twice. But he recalls dropping Navaratnam off at McArthur’s Leaside property that is currently being searched by police, he says.
Navaratnam had a key, he says.

I seem to remember that Skanda also house sat for someone in Cabbagetown. Hmmmm

It's starting to sound like he got arrested trying to 'off load' the vehicle with blood in the trunk at a wreckers on FRIDAY --- does that mean THEY (auto wrecker) noticed blood in the trunk and called police...OR I suppose it makes A LOT more sense that LE was watching him and swooped in.....
