I wonder where marriage fits into their plans or if they are going to be like Cruise control and Katie and keep putting it off.

Well,the tabloids keep saying Brad desperately wants to get married. Supposedly, Angelina told a film director or someone that they would never get married. Just my opinion, but I don't see this relationship lasting. I do think, though, that Brad would support all three kids and be a big part of their lives.

I don't see the relationship lasting either, but who knows. They just seem like such different people to me. She seems like she would like to live abroad and he'd rather be settled down in one spot with his family.

I am happy for the new parents and the siblings as well. I really admire Brad and Angelina for using their fame and the buzz over their baby's birth to generate funds for charity by selling the pictures. Very generous and selfless, imo.

One thing I hope for, for all 3 children, is that the family can settle down and stay in one place called home. Maybe I am biased, but I really think children need a stable, predictable home life. As much as i admire Brad and Angelina for the works they are doing, I don't feel a life of flying from country to country is in the best interests of these children. I pray they will take some time to just get settled with these children and get them into a secure, happy, routine situation.

This is now two families in the last month who have "two adopted children" and now one "real" child... Lordy, but I'm tired of hearing the other children referred to as "adopted children". I heard it ad nauseum with Cruise and now it's all over the news with Angelina's two "adopted children". All 3 children of each family are their kids... not just the "real" one. It's sad that our society still feels a need to refer to them as "adopted" children. It would have been just as easy to refer to Tom's other two as his "two older children" as it was to continuously throw in the word "adopted". And no, I'm not adopted... but thank you for allowing me my rant!

I think that it is terrible too. It comes out sounding like a negative. I would be upset if I were in the parents shoes....not for myself but about how it might affect my children. Maybe the press would stop it if the parents would speak up. A lot of what Cruise has said would lead a person to believe that this is his first child...ever. This is not his first child and it isn't the first time he has had a baby in his home. I guess he is just so proud that he actually DID IT that he doesn't remember that there have been two other babies before this one. He's such a creep in every way. He gets homlier every day.

:clap::clap::clap::clap: Thank you for saying this. It's gotten on my nerves and I just cringe when I hear the media refer to Angelina's and Cruise's other children as their "adopted children". It's as if they are saying these aren't real children or something. It irritates the hell out of me.

I saw an interview with Sharon Stone a few months ago and she said she doesn't understand why people refer to her sons as her "adopted" children because they are HER CHILDREN regardless of where they came from.

here goes: i disike the word 'kid' to be used for a child.

children are bit baby goats.

i have no idea as to the history of the term. why on earth was it started?

i mean, 'puppy' or 'kitten', maybe . . . but 'kid'?

it has come into common British English parlance nowadays too.

I have to agree,I never liked a child being refered to as a "kid" either.

But the funny part is,I don't mind if there is more than one child and say: "the kids are out playing" or "the kids are sleeping",but I think it sounds kind of harsh and some what cold,when it's just one child and says: "the kid is out playing" or "the kid is sleeping." Weird huh? Or maybe I'm just weird!

I am the same way Capps. If someone says "the kids are out playing" it sounds ok. But if they say "the kid is out playing" it sounds detached and like there is no real depth of feeling. Funny huh?

I read in one of the papers that when Brad had sent the Email to Cannes to say he would not be there. He said it was because the birth of his third child was imminent.

So she became pregnant shortly after the divorce was finalized.

Looking back at the "rags" last September, looks like she put her house in England up for sale, moved in with Brad in Malibu, and announced she was taking a year off from films.

Guess they had plans.
