Ok... thanks for the 27 info Anna's Mom. If we can find a method that adds up to 27 with Anna's name, then we can check Brody's name using that method.

I'll check some stuff out....

PT, your coffee buddy may be aware of other numerological groups, or methods. People who immerse themselves in that stuff are sometimes more aware of other similiar groups.

Yes that's true Mysteriew. He could have been making it up and is not a member of the Kabalarian perspective - but just knows about some of their rituals/procedures.

After that meeting I never heard from him again, and never sought him out.... he truthfully didn't give me "bad vibes", instead it was "incredulous vibes"!

Truth be told... if he had been more accurate with his reading of me, perhaps I would have given his methods more credibility... but that didn't happen as he was too far off!

So... um... anything new?

Nothing definitive (i.e. actual contact). I have been in contact with with the adoptees high school in an attempt to get her transcripts and yearbook picture to compare to pictures of Anna, but the transcripts would require a court order and the yearbooks would come from the librarian, who got off early today. The schools are closed on Monday (MLK day), so I hope to have pictures faxed on Tuesday. Meanwhile, everytime my phone rings, I am jumping out of my skin, hoping that it is the adoptee responding.

I also have been able to trace her school history back to her elementary school. I am hoping to get some sort of pictures from them, which would be closer in time to our last pictures of Anna. These will be even more valuable for comparison, but those will have to wait until at least Tuesday also.

Those of you who believe in prayer, please do so. Those of you who don't, please rub a rabbit's foot or something. LOL

Patience, all things come in their own time, LOL. :blowkiss:

I'm blushing...and if you knew what I look like with my big melon-head, you'd realize how much blood that takes.

The reason that I am trying to get the adoptees transcripts from elementary school is because since Anna disappeared in January 1973 after the start of the school year, if the adoptee registered into the school mid-year (after 1/73) with no previous school information, then it increases the chance of a match. Interestingly, the elementary school she attended was only first through eighth grade when she was there (they have since added kindergarten). This means that she would have had to attend kindergarten somewhere else...or was abducted somewhere else and entered straight into the first grade at the start of the following school year. Perhaps just a coincidence...perhaps not.

The reason that none of this makes any sense is because it is so wierd and esoteric. I do not believe any of it, but the value of looking into this is to see if the names of Anna and Brody did match using this Kabballah groups numerology techniques. If they did, then it would show that Brody was a member of this cult (or at least influenced by them). This would give us an avenue to find out more about Brody. The actual "predictions" that this technique lead to are undoubtedly worthless.
Thank you Dr. Doogie for explaining this to me. I really am not so stupid, but it was late and I kept trying to read the posts with all the number stuff and not getting it. Then I was thinking I was missing important info. I understand now the relevance of undestanding this number stuff. You amaze me with your devotion.

thanks

Most town Libraries keep copies of the Highschool yearsbooks. Maybe the town public library is opened tomorrow? Just a thought.

Excellent idea, mjak. I will check it out (if my wife will let me out for a day). I will let you all know.

Somehow, I've missed what high school this is. It seems like there is such a huge membership in this forum, that just announcing what high school and town, someone could swing by tomorrow and have a look.

I purposely am being vague about some of the details here due to the sensitive nature of the investigation. If this is not her and I were to publish her name in the forum, there could be some legal ramifications. If it is her, I want to control the process as to not shock her any more than necessary (imagine if you found out that instead of being adopted, you were kidnapped instead...YIKES!). That being said, based on the information that has been published here on the forum, others have done the same legwork and arrived at the same candidate, which helps validate our work.

The high school is only about an hour away, so I can swing by there tomorrow easily. Since I will be in the town, I may do a little surviellence on some of the more promising addresses that I have and see if I can find her.

Well, prayers it's her and this whole sad story can be laid to rest with a happy ending.

Just a couple of notes here. If the addresses you have for the adoptee are outdated and you are hoping they will be forwarded this could take several weeks. Hopefully not, but it's not an unreasonable time frame.

Also, I am about the same age as Anna. I was not required by law to attend Kindergarten, neiter public nor private. I do not know the laws of CA during that time, but wanted to toss this idea out there.

waitng in pins and needles on any news you have regarding this women. also have u looked into classmates.com to get more information. as well as doing an image search on google on this persons name to see if any pictures might pop up you could get like a thousand diffrent pictures of people with that name but if you try to find the websites with more info on that person you can narrow it down

I know little about Anna's case.

Question: How would you get an email list of people with the same last name?

I think an email would be better received to people you know with a mystery angle. People like intrigue and mystery. Approach it as "30+ Year-Old Mystery Begs Attention" or something like that.

I will post Anna's case on my forum later this evening.

Kelly
Kelly, I volunteer my time to adoptees trying to locate their birth families. My last adoptee had no info about her birth family except what she thought was her birth mom's last name. I decided to use the mass email method and it proved to be a valuable tool.

I went to Yahoo's people search and did an email search of only that last name, and left the space for a first name 'blank'. It gave me 84 matches throughout the U.S.

I typed a generic letter in the form of an email, explaining what she was doing and how she got their email addresses. I added that to avoid being scammed, I was providing basic info and would love to discuss things further if they could reply with any info that would confirm a possible match (such as her birth year). In the letter, I asked the recipient to reply to one of 2 emails addresses listed at the bottom of the email.

In order to avoid going through a bunch of emails that had no valuable info, I had her open up 2 free Yahoo email accts.(It doesn't have to be Yahoo). One for possible relatives, the other for no-chance of any relation. The email addresses were something like:

weneed2talk@----.com

and
cantbrelated@----.com

That limited the time she spent searching through no-match emails.
2 of her aunts, an uncle and a cousin replied to her email. After 32 years of searching, we found her mother in 4 days using the good ol' internet.

People are usually sympathetic if they understand what you are doing and don't mind taking 2 minutes to reply.

Whatever resources there are to find Anna and other missing persons should be used. Although it is unsolicited, I don't think most people view this type of email as spam.

With the new information concerning possible abduction by a couple, this increases the possibility that Anna is alive and perhaps searching for her birth parents. This means that adoption reunion sites need to be researched for possible matches. I have found one site that shows an adoptee with the correct birthday in San Francisco whom I have sent an email for further information, but this was listed on the only one site that I have been able to research.

If anyone out there wants to help persue this, be aware that I have been posting Anna's info at these sites. You may find what appears to be an exact match, but it was posted by me, not an adoptee. If you see a "posted by" name of Doug French, it is one of my posts.
Dr. Doogie,
I am familiar with many of the adoption sites. I will persue that avenue. May I have permission in advance to PM you with info before I post it? This is my first view of this forum. I am usually on Sharon Marshall's forum but Anna's name seems to run parallel with Sharon's so I had to read these threads. I will be dedicating time to Anna's search as well as Sharon's true identity.

Itsreenw that's exactly the kind of approach I was talking about!

There are other methods to get applicable email addresses too.

I strongly believe in following the family's wishes though, so if they say no, the idea isn't for them, then ya just gotta respect that!

Excellent job on behalf of the adoptee in your case though!

Smile22 I came across the posting that Dr. Doogie was referring to, and did some searches on the name. I came across a photo that I thought was interesting and fowarded it. I have NO idea if this is the same person that Dr. Doogie tracked down the addresses for though.

Having said that, I previously had come across a photo on another avenue of searching that I was EXTREMELY excited about. Sadly Anna's mom, and Dr. Doogie did not see the same resemblance that I did. So it was back to the search engines for more possibilities!

Hopefully Dr. Doogie was able to get a hold of the high school yearbook and have a peek.... or the adoptee has contacted him....

I'm waiting to do the

PT, thanx.
I didn't realize the family was against the idea. I am going to start looking on the adoption sites. I feel Anna is alive. The comment overheard by her stepdad when he was monitoring Waters and Brody in the motel has me questioning that though. "I'm glad the tot is dead"...

I'm sure this has already been posted on the thread, but was Anna's brother also Waters's child? I ask that only because of the support issue.
