I'm more interested in something else: remember, a few years after JB's murder, the Ramseys had a break-in at their Atlanta home. John claimed that he'd left the house unlocked.

WHAT?!?! This guy's supposedly had an intruder break in and murder his daughter already! There's NO WAY he'd leave anything unlocked anymore!

Anyone who had experienced a real intruder that murdered your child would not only never leave their home unlocked again, they'd for sure have alarm systems to prevent this from EVER happening again... because, according to the Ramseys, the small foreign faction or real killers have never been caught and the Ramseys may well still be a target.
