"Conway admits the Anthonys have made conflicting statements in the past. They will be re-interviewed by investigators. He said, for the next interview they give to authorities, there will not be any conflicting statements." Per WFTV, I have to say I really like their lawyer and I really feel they are finally listening to somebody that has their best interests in mind.

Me too. And I also liked the fact that Geraldo was sitting to interview him, so as not to call attention to the fact that Conway was also "sitting". I don't much care for Geraldo, but I thought this was the right thing for him to do.

I always remember KC's voice in that jail phone call with CA when she say "YOU don't know what MY involvement is?" to CA. Almost like she's saying to her mother-Hey, what about YOUR involvement? This family is so symbiotic(not sure if that's the right word) it's hard to tell where one begins and the other one ends!

YES!! BINGO!! That has stood out to me too. When she told her mom that.

Here are my thoughts about the evidence found by LE when the skull/bag was first found last Thurs; I am wondering if LE had specifically asked the A's about "anything" being missing..from the bed, Caylee's room, ect. I am going to step out on a limb and guess they did. I am also going to bet the A's said "no." Now if what they found was something that should have been obvious to the A's they may now feel the A's have been lying to them all along.

We have no idea what they found but whatever it was it caused them to fly over there and secure the home. I am thinking it was part of Caylee's bedding..sheet, ect.

I believe that they have gone out of their way to impede the investigation since they realized that Caylee was TRULY missing and not just a pawn in a sick game KC was playing with them.

JMO

Yes, I agree. Especially since CA stated that she goes into Caylee's room every weeks and washes the sheets. At the time of that interview all of us Moms went nuts on how in the world could she wash the scent of that precious child away like that? No one could understand that statement, well there were a couple that excused CA behavior but for the most part no one on WS could believe she would wash Caylee's sheets every week. Now here we are...did CA say that on TV to cover up the fact she had to go out and purchase another brand new comforter set for Caylee's bed and was washing the items to make them "match" the other older items?

This has also been my question!!! I'll keep reading to see if anyone's answered...

They haven't been served with a warrant that says they are being listened to (As that would defeat the purpose) but they can't be violating something they haven't been informed exists.

Being as they would have no verification of who planted that bug, an over zealot reporter could love to know what was being said in that house, I can't imagine they could be in trouble for removing it. If I found my house had been wired for any reason I would do everything possible to remove it.

Once they find they are wired it makes the future tapes useless anyway, if you know you are being taped the conversation is not going to be the candid chatter they are looking for. It will become "that damn Zanny" rheotoric.

Immunity? As in "We are now ready to throw our daughter under the bus; don't prosecute"?

http://www.wftv.com/news/18282120/detail.html

The new lawyer for George and Cindy Anthony spoke to the public Monday (watch video). He said he didn't know about plans to prosecute them on charges related to the case, but he did tell Eyewitness News that he is seeking immunity for Caylee's grandparents.

Just because he is seeking immunity does not mean it will be granted.
If you have done nothing wrong, why do you need/want immunity?

Excellent. Thanks so much.

HUH? If the A's admit that Casey is guilty they will be throwing her under the bus? And if they don't, they are covering for her. No matter what they do, they can't be right in some people's eyes.

Immunity in exchange for what?

Smart move. I wonder why MN never thought to do that. This new attorney really seems to be on the ball.

The game changed when a body was found. There was no need for MN to make any kind of overture like this, because there was no body. Considering the body was found so close to the house and potentially there is evidence in the house George and Cindy own linking to the body, I can see why now is the appropriate time to look for such an "immunity."

While I think I like this new attorney, he's jumping the ball a bit, IMO. Lots of focus here on obstruction of justice, and the whole argument for charging someone with it from a legal perspective is pretty grey. Look at how much Casey lied to investigators, pointed them on the ZG path and then promptly shut up -- you'd think she would have been charged with such a thing before anyone else is.

omg - uh-yeah my clients lied but now they will tell the truth!!

If the attorney officially decides to ask our office, well will address it then," said Danielle Taverneri, spokesperson for the State Attorney's Office.

I wouldn't think that would comfort the A's much...

don't think MN was thinking about representing them in this manner...he stated at the start he was there to "guide" them thru the media circles and such...plus they became more bold---when that e-mail thing over the brush happened that was when he pulled out...think HE KNEW it wasn't far off--prhaps warned them but they got cocky....(moo)

I also think those handy dandy notebooks bit them ---- iirc they did take some notebooks via the search warrant....I have also wondered if that was also a warrant for info on them as well----no just kc..

new guy along with possiblities seems to have warrented them to hush up a tad...also think things may have been hinted if not down right told on the ride home from the airport...that just seemed like an overkill with that many LE picking them up...

We all know they have said conflicting things, I really think he has his hands full doing damage control, and at least he is stating the obvious and not more "spin"

No, I think the poster mean't to say they will finally tell the truth about what they know regardless of whether they implicate their daughter, like they should have done from the beginning.

If I lived in the jurisdiction, I, and I would be urging everyone I know, would be calling the SA's and begging them, no immunity for any of them, and no deal that doesn't include no profiting off of their and Casey's crimes.

Hold on. You read that wrong.

I was simply wondering what their intentions were for asking for immunity: ie)ready to tell LE what they know, if anything, regarding their granddaughters disappearance.

That is what I meant.

Uh Huh, and the FBI and OCSO will just rip up all of the 'other' interviews.:bang:

I have a feeling the community at large is activist in this regard. The actions of this entire A family have taken their toll and I bet there is tremendous outrage.
