Anthony's admit to Conflicting Statements Seek Full Immunity

IMO there is no way CA will stop the lies, she will just spin one lie into another. Where does everyone else think KC got the ability to not break down when it came to investigators questioning?

Most normal or half normal people would have been crying and begging to tell LE the truth the way they were questioning her, but nope she had to get it from somewhere and my money is on it being CA.

I say unless LE has a very concrete idea of what and who was involved exactly so they know how to back her into a corner to where she doesn't have a choice but to tell the whole real truth, then charge them with obstruction.

Next thing you know it will be KC left her in the car just for a half of a second to run a movie to the return slot at blockbuster and in that half a second some unknown abductor took Caylee.

I know the Anthonys have not been honest we all have seen and heard their stories my heart goes out to them It has to be hard to go thru what they are going thru. We cant forget that CA was the one who made the phone call in the first place. We don't know all the answers as of yet but i'm sure we will find out! I hope they All get some help I cant imagine what they are going thru. When this finally will come to a head we will all have some of the answers.

Unless they think George or Cindy helped her dispose of the body they will not arrest them. LE gives wide latitude when it comes to parents of defendants. They are accustom to knowing the parents will defend no matter what.

ITA! This is the mistake they make with KC...she lied and lied...when her parents found out the truth then she would say she'd tell the truth if they wouldn't punish her so much.

I say "NO DEALS". This would also be setting up a precedent (sp?) for other future cases!

They will go on protecting her then by saying their poor child is insane and she DIDN'T KNOW WHAT SHE WAS DOING.

ITA...I feel they are trying to save themselves. I could handle a few "mistruths", but they went over the top trying to put a "spin" on the truth. (ex...Larry King Live...etc.)

This isn't elementary school...these are adults and this is the law...they knew what they were doing. I don't know if I could truly believe them now.

Let them finally tell the truth when they are on the stand facing obstruction charges.

The producers at LKL are just as responsible for the spin.When GA said he didn't know food could smell that bad they [LKL]should have put up the video of him telling LE and FBI that he knew that smell,would never forget that smell,didn't like that smell. Instead they showed tapes of Casey crying and saying she wanted Caylee back home.

This is what floors me from the article:

"Conway said he plans to meet with the lead prosecutor and detectives later this week to ask for full immunity for the Anthonys.

Conway admits the Anthonys have made conflicting statements in the past. They will be re-interviewed by investigators. He said, for the next interview they give to authorities, there will not be any conflicting statements."

He's basically saying they lied but will stop lying if they are given full immunity. I say give it to them and let's see what they have to say!

I know I've said it many times before but I guess I will say it one more time. I don't agree with their actions over the past six months, but I do not know how I would react if placed in the same situation. I hope I would do the right thing, but you never know.

I say give them full immunity and find out what they know.

I really never thought that LE would bring charges against the A's unless they absolutely had a hand in the murder of poor Caylee. Part of me still believes this. Certainly the law is supposed to be THE LAW, but we all have followed enough cases to know that deals are cut all the time that probably shouldn't be cut.

Depending on how far LE suspects CA & GA to be involved I think they would be willing to offer up immunity for truthful testimony. If the charges are expected to be more serious, than obviously there would be no immunity offered.

LE is very gracious (sometimes more than the law allows) when it comes to grieving families, especially ones that have been destroyed entirely, such as with this case. I have seen it time and time again, and I wouldn't be surprised to see LE give the A's some slack.

As I said, though, if the evidence is really damning than all bets are off.

"IMO" I don't think they should be allowed any leniency, immunity or other. The emotion, hard work, searches, time spent following all these bogus leads and money the state and other's had to use in resources looking for a live Caylee. They all should of spoken the "Truth" from the beginning. Shame on them all! I do not feel sorry for them and don't agree with the fact that people are now calling them victims. The only real "Victim" that suffered and is dead is "Caylee". I am disgusted with the family, that child was rotting out there for 6 months and all they did was interfere with the investigation and lie...So, NO! I say they deserve to be sitting next to Casey if they lied or other. "JMO"

ITA. You said it all. IF they were grieving grandparents, they would have told the truth in the first place, but. . .

Let the chips fall where they may, LE has enough to prosecute Casey and most likely enough to make it hot (depends on their involvment) for George and Cindy. No need to play let's make a deal. Too little too late.

No.Charge them and maybe consider a plea bargain if LE is satisfied they are finally telling the truth.
They shouldnt be allowed to use the truth as a bargaining chip.
They SAW TO IT that Caylee laid out there in the mud like road kill for 6 months!!!

To give them immunity would set a precedent for other people to follow suit in the future, to lie during an investigation, then demand immunity in exchange for the truth. Eventually, all criminals and their accomplices will be granted immunity for their versions of "truth".

The A's won't come clean or tell the absolute truth. They've had plenty of time now to go over their conflicting statements and put together yet another story that will coincide with each other's previous statements. There may be grains of truth in it but, like KC, there'll be spin on the truth. Except that this time, they or their attorney will gather (or have already gathered) up all the conflicting statements and now can spin it into yet another version that all the A's agree on.

So, I voted no and prosecute them for obstruction.

I think the details of the morning of the 16th by George were all a lie. George never saw Caylee leave the house. Tell us about the fight now Cindy. What happened after the fight? Did Casey threaten to harm Caylee and you feel bad about it now?

CA saying that she heard KC and Caylee in their bedroom before she went to work has never made sense to me. What grandmother would just listen at the door instead of telling her grandbaby good morning?

Yes. I am with everyone on how the A's have been, but if they are now willing to tell the truth then I think that is good. I cant help but to want to show them some mercy. Their hearts are broken and they will not recover from this.

Sounds like the same strategy that Baez contemplated earlier - immunity for Casey to tell the truth. CA's lament from the beginning is that LE wasn't really searching for Caylee, they were focused on convicting KC. IMO, the A's brought that on themselves - all by themselves. CA and GA and LA and KC have only EVER been concerned with defending Casey-why-let-the-truth-get-in-the-way-of-my-story-Anthony. As has Baez.

It's hard to comprehend how every waking second would not be consumed with trying to find that beautiful baby girl.

well, that little tidbit of truth certainly wouldn't be worth immunity. I think most of us figured that out a while ago, and I'm sure LE/FBI much sooner than we did.
