Anthony's admit to Conflicting Statements Seek Full Immunity

One more thought/question.

So now that they "admit" they have made conflicting statements, and their lawyer has made it public knowledge, aren't they obligated to tell the truth anyway, if investigators did "re-interview" them. What are they going to say, no I'm not telling you the truth, b/c you aren't giving me immunity? It doesn't work that way with LE & the FBI.

Ya know....I am going to have a real hard time with it if they receive immunity. If they had told the truth, that poor baby may have been found before she turned to bones. That is their granddaughter....omg...If Casey was my daughter, I would have turned on her in a spit second to find my grandaughter. I know the truth from them would be the ultimate, it would expain alot...but jeesh...why do they need to use the truth as a bargaining chip....I guess they really do need to go and pray with a minister, its not just grief they are feeling...it's GUILT to...Damn!

Yes. I am with everyone on how the A's have been, but if they are now willing to tell the truth then I think that is good. I cant help but to want to show them some mercy. Their hearts are broken and they will not recover from this.

Would the truth about the fight and activities on the night of the 15th finally come out?

While I believe this was premeditated, I also feel that the fight that night was the 'trigger' that pushed KC to act.

Goes to motive, if that makes sense?

I simply voted no. If all the A's have done is make false statements to the public to mislead us I don't think that's obstruction legally.If they have given false info to LE or were physically involved in a cover-up that needs to be prosecuted.I don't think LE needs their new "truth".Who could belive them anyway? If they did something to Caylee or helped move her body LE probably has evidence of that. No immunity.

There she goes again, setting up the terms. I say LE needs to have the last word. You come in and tell us the truth and THEN we'll see what we're willing to let slide.

I agree whole-heartedly................... This whole tragedy has been so bizarre and it needs to be a lesson to future criminals family's......DO NOT MESS WITH LE.

Very soon all the facts will be exposed and if in the eyes of the law broke the law, they should not be treated any different than anyone else, grieving should not be a defense.

Since when did LE give second chances? Bottom line---they lied. Many, many, many people face charges for false statements, Accomplice, etc. and ARE NOT given a second chance. Let them face what is coming to them.

I think they know this time when they are interviewed they better cough up everything they know with or without immunity. I am sure LE will tell them point blank it is time to end this charade and if they don't they are putting themselves in jeopardy.

At least if they do that, it will be more than Lee and Jackie Peterson ever did. They still espouse that their dear, dear, son is innocent.

I didn't see the word TRUTH in the lawyer's comments. All I read was "conflicting statements". In other words, the Anthonys promise to pick one of the many lies and stick with it. They oughtta be in the slammer.

No immunity for GA, CA and LA and no plea deal for the demon. LE arrived at the truth without their help. It is too late. That door is closed.

Scott Dyleski's mom lied through her teeth and they even locked her up in jail for destroying evidence and giving a false statement to police. She had to testify or go to jail and imo she lied about somethings on the stand but they never tried her in the end.

Jackie Peterson also lied about how the $10,000 got to Scott. She was never charged either.

If they need Cindy and George's testimony at trial they will not charge them imo.

I know the Anthonys have not been honest we all have seen and heard their stories my heart goes out to them It has to be hard to go thru what they are going thru. We cant forget that CA was the one who made the phone call in the first place. We dont know all the answers as of yet but i'm sure we will find out! I hope they All get some help I cant imagine what they are going thru. When this finally will come to a head we will all have some of the answers.

I always feel like stepping in here. I could have full custody of my grandson, too, I'm sure. But what I did was make my daughter raise her own child, and I helped her. They are on the right track now, but I always have to feel sorry for G&C when I hear this - They had no idea Caylee would be killed, and I am sure they were trying to guide their daughter the best they could.

That is a difficult task, sometimes.

That was a heartfelt post and you are right.

I really do try to put myself in CAs shoes. Sounds like KC had a history of lying, stealing and some exasperating behavior. Maybe CA thought that KC becoming a mother and having her own child to care for would help her mature, settle down and head down the right path. Seems that CA/GA provided a lot of support for them.

Though photos, friends and family state Casey "was a good mother," we also see she hadn't quite "settled down."

It is often difficult to understand the way CA/GA have conducted themselves.
At the same time, who could wrap their mind around such a horrible thing?

I just can't imagine C&G ever being able to tell the truth about anything. We might get half of the story out of them - but never the whole truth. I don't trust them. They have not earned ANYONE's trust.

I think they want immunity so that they can claim the book/movie money. I say - NO DEAL. Too late.

I had to vote yes to immunity. I hope and I trust that their involvement doesn't have anything to do with physical removal of the body. Or, if one of them cleaned out the trunk to try to hide evidence of decomp, then there should be a charge. But right now I still see them as victims (albeit crazy victims), and neither one of them would ever dream of harming Caylee. When KC is convited, the A's need to get on with their lives.

ITA! This is the mistake they make with KC...she lied and lied...when her parents found out the truth then she would say she'd tell the truth if they wouldn't punish her so much.

I say "NO DEALS". This would also be setting up a precedent (sp?) for other future cases!
