Anthony's did not tell Police New Zenaida Story

  • #81
Ridiculous. I remember when GA and CA said they knew exactly were "Caylee was at" and that they were going to swat team and burst in to save her, but were waiting for the right moment. Remember the people watching the people watching Caylee?

I really really hope GA and CA are questioned ont he stand about their conflicting stories and out right lies. I really hope I am able to watch.

Who expected them to search swamps and woods???

No one in that family so much as strolled the neighborhood looking for clues ..
They didn't even search door to door on their own street ..
They contributed ZERO in the search fo Caylee ..
Didn't even talk with their own neighbors ..

The Anthony's did nothing but whine about LE and poor Casey ..

I hope they all end up in jail, I really do .. :furious:

Yes, and yet, at one point, they declared to the media that they knew who the kidnappers were and they were "watching" them. I'm sorry, I've spent hours looking for this video clip of GA and CA coming out of the jail after a visit with KC and can't find it. I think it may have been back in August when KC was initially arrested. I remember being astounded... thinking -- if you know this for a fact, I hope you've shared this with LE. If this is legitimate, LE would follow up with a SWAT team and blow the door down to find Caylee. That was a bold statement to make on camera -- perhaps they were buying another of KC's lies.

Well said. I hope they all end up in jail as well. They really really deserve that end. This has got to be one of the most disgusting families that ever lived.

Agreed ..
They almost make Scott Peterson's family look "normal" ..

I think she had to come up with an alternate story after LE told her that she wasn't on the surveillance cameras at Sawgrass. She had an "oh s---" moment and knew she had to come up with another story. I'm sure the Anthony's didn't go to LE with it because it sounded so preposterous even they didn't buy it. It sounds almost high schoolish.

So true and actually it sounds more pre-schoolish. I can imagine her standing there with big crocodile tears in her eyes saying they pushed me down and held me down and took my baby, in hopes of garnering sympathy and then smirking while walking away once they fell for this explanation.

Reminds me of my 2 boys when they were little, the youngest always cried foul when I would walk out of the room and say his older brother was picking on him. Most times I believed him, because you know how big brothers like to sometimes torment their little brothers. Until the day he went a bit too far with his story. We were in JC Penney shopping and I turned my back for a moment. They were like 3 and 9 at the time. My youngest started wailing and said his brother "held him upside down, pulled his hair and burped in his ear". :slap: To me it was unbelievable that he could have done that in the short amount of time my back was turned. My oldest son said, come on Mom, seriously, do you believe that one? LOL

We laughed so hard just picturing it. They are now 17 and 23 and we still tease him about it to this day.

But the difference here is, no one bought his story, and he pretty much quit with the embellishing after that incident. Too bad no one did that with KC. :shakehead:

I have that video bookmarked, let me see if I can find it!

Here you go. It's about 5:50 into the video. I shouldn't have watched that video again while eating lunch. Ugh!

I know, it's like, DUH! You told the ONE thing she would NOT have wanted you to tell...what matters after that?

Hey! I just had a thought....could it be that in addition to the Blanchard Park story, KC also told her family that ZFG is not really the kidnapper, but that was the name the real kidnapper told her to give in their instructions?
I could see the A's (especially Lee and Cindy) continually asking for info about ZFG and to get them off her back and to get them to stop searching for that name, she tells them it is just the name the kidnappers told her to give. Mmmmmmmmmmmm.

The JBP theory didn't spring forth until after Casey was released the first time, according to Lee. The Anthony's gave their statements to LE using the other theory of the abduction at Sawgrass.

However, here's a question for someone to answer: Is withholding information about a false story a crime? I know I wouldn't bother LE with a crappy story about a nutcase nanny and the Sippy Cup Gang (oh, how I've missed the SCG!!!).
It really shouldn't be the family's job to sort out which information "is" and which information "is not" relevant.

Considering how desperate the situation would have been IF Caylee HAD been alive, unless George, Cindy and Lee didn't care what happened to Caylee, they would have run to LE would every snippet they could dig up...no matter how crazy.

Their response, to me, indicates they had no more hope for Caylee. There is no way the family wouldn't have been camped on LE's doorstep otherwise. (IMO) Physically, every member of the family (except Casey) has aged dramatically in a matter of months. They look horrible. Even their posture shows defeat. Their eyes are hollow, dark and pained.

IMO

Thanks so much marmar! I knew I wasn't crazy. I remember also being hopeful that perhaps this was a valid tip, but after this and other statements, I began to really question the Anthony's credibility.

well, since you raise these points, someone might ask: If KC is the murderer, why would she drive around with the body decomposing in the trunk of her car for any time at all, why not dispose of it immediately? (And if she had a body in the trunk or the trunk reeked from what she knew, as the murderer, was decomp, why would she keep allowing the car to run out of gas requiring others to come assist her, etc, why would she put her dad's gas cans there in the stinky trunk, etc.) Why would she not remove the tape from Caylee's face before disposing of her body to make the death look more accidental/less cruel, why would she put the body there by her own house, why would she go so ridiculously far as to put a heart sticker on the tape to link back to herself and her use of hearts on photos? Why would she use bags from the family home and other items from the family home and then leave the matches of these items still in the family home? Also what about the fact that KC was living and "working" (helping at Fusian) around so many other people, any of whom could have potentially accessed Caylee, KC's Pontiac, and the items in the pontiac? What about the people other than KC with access to the family home? etc I definitely don't rule KC out either, but don't any of these points give a little pause? Sorry, back to topic. I'm not saying LE ever set out to frame KC, by the way.

Seagull I read your entire post and it all could be answered with three words "SHE - IS - LAZY"

The girl had no job and didn't want to take care of her own kid - she was the picture of lazy.

She drove around mostly in her BF's car when at Fusion. Many people noticed the smell in car - and the squirel story was born.

Yes! I think this blunder by LA of admitting under oath that they did not reveal such crucial info to LE is going to come back and haunt them. THIS IS HUGE! HUGE! This is not a silly detail. This is about the supposed kidnapper who took Caylee...wth were they thinking? This is not hearsay from LP, this is a statement under oath by LA now. Wow, just Wow!
LOL Another vindication for LP. Hmmm....interesting. They appear to keep coming up.

Oh yeah sure - happened at Blanchard Park not Sawgrass, but no one was told? Their arrogance in thinking that we would believe these crazy stories is amazing to me. I can't wait until trial - can you imagine how hard it's going to be for the entire A family to remember all their convoluted lies? One of them will have to screw up, and hopefully all the untruths will unravel into reality.

and casey just forgot to save the "script" the kidnapper left ? Come one would she really like us to believe that ? wouldnt you hold on to that for fingerprints or to help the police find your baby?

This is obstruction of justice all the way around. Of course, LE thinks the story is looney so nothing may come of the fact that Anthony inc. didn't inform LE of the "real" story.

I used to give the A's a slight break because they were desperately holding onto hope, and now in the big picture - that is impossible for me to believe.

These "instructions/story" is a figment of Casey's imagination.

Oh ya, I'm hip to that. What I'm wondering is if LE ever made it known they were never supplied with this supposed instruction list from ZFG.

LA might as well have just said, "I didn't call police about Blanchard Park, and my mother didn't call police, because we knew she was lying. We all know she killed our little Caylee, but we refuse to entertain any facts that will reveal such."

At least he would have been telling the truth under oath.

So do I. "Take your flunkies and get out of here" keeps ringing in my head. What a disgusting and ungrateful thing to say to LE, who have spent many many hours trying to solve the murder of your granddaughter.

I think it was so clever of Det. Allen to make sure that statement was part of the interview with DC knowing that it would be released to the media and then the public. Looks like he wanted it to be out there so that the George supporters and sympathizers might have second thoughts about him. Good for you JA.

  • #98
If Lee had gone to YM and JA with the Blanchard Park version of the story, there would have been three people sitting there giggling and chuckling. He didn't want to make a giant fool of himself at that time - no reason to then.

  • #99
but everytime they tried to tell LE about anything KC had said YM would come in with "But it's all lies, it's all lies, don't you understand it's all lies!" He wouldn't listen to another word regarding what KC had said. (As much as I like YM, and I do understand his point of view and the path he took, if it had been me, as tedious as it would be, I think I would have let KC and the whole family talk, talk, talk, just in case anything could come out of it. Imagine if they had just let KC talk on and on without interrupting her.)
But personally I think it's possible the Anthonys may have given up on trying to tell LE any more about what KC had said. Also, it's possible Lee thought LE knew the Jay Blanchard Park version, right? LP had put it all over the media and if LE didn't come to Lee with questions, I assume they knew, right? Though I was surprised to hear in the deposition that Lee hadn't discussed it directly with LE before, I think he looked surprised at this too to be honest, at the suggestion that LE didn't know or something. He seemed to think LE knew. My impression only

(Although, I don't discount other theories regarding why the A family didn't tell, if it's true that they deliberately did not tell, I'm not sure yet.)

I totally agree regarding the lack of urgency in their attitudes when Caylee was missing, etc. The lack of questions, the lack of pinning KC down, etc. Very strange. KC's failure to report, her bizarre lack of concern and urgency regarding Caylee while in prison, etc. (Unless they all thought or were wishfully forcing themselves to believe that Caylee was with someone safe or whatever.) But obviously very strange behavior.
Seagull, Did you not listen to all the interview tapes? Yuri DID let them talk. They talked, and talked, and talked and talked - and none of it made any sense. He coudln't let it continue. All they were doing were wasting his time at that point. How much more talking and lying do you think Yuri needed to sit and listen too? Seriously. A little girl was missing and the people closest to her were babbling and doing nothing but lying.

Still vote it was "burn after reading" or "this message will self-destruct in 10...9...8..."
