Anthonys Seek Private Jail Visit With Casey

I am fully aware the A's wanted a private meeting with KC- however- One would think that if they loved their daughter so much- they would want to see her under any circumstances- they don't run the show- and they won't get their way with LE- so who is keeping them from visiting KC? Themselves, KC or JB? And why?

I've always thought that KC is the one who is preventing any visits with her family.

During the time KC was out on bail, she spent as much time as she could away from home at JB's office. I think she couldn't stand the thought of being cooped up at home with her parents all day.

I also think she blames CA for her being in jail right now. CA has always fixed everything before, getting her out of trouble, and never making her take responsibility for her actions. But this time, CA called the police and from that point on, it was out of CA's hands. CA lost the control to the police, and she couldn't fix it this time.

GA testified before the grand jury, who immediately handed down an indictment for murder, and KC was arrested and held on no bond the same day. KC holds it against GA that he testified.

The Anthonys may seek a visit with KC, but it's all up to KC. She can refuse a visit.

Sadly there is no excuse for the photos. They speak for themselves. KC and "whomever" doing "whatever" "whenever" after her kid went missing and obviously many times before was not just a "modern woman"... Caylee...the one she failed to report went missing... deserved better than KC as a mom...despite what KC wanted to achieve (goals much???).
The photos speak volumes about who KC was and what she did without name calling. But the proof is in the pooding...KC wears an American Flag drapped over her supposedly naked body..and AFTER her child went missing... she miss modern woman.. didn't care... doesn't care ...just wanted to be with a GUY.....umm hello? Not exactly someone I would defend as a character of modern feminism.

Can't label her as a negative person... that would be wrong: but what would you call a girl who can't tell you the father of her kid, been with countless boyfriends, lied about her "jobs"... stole from everyone she knows...what would you call that person without labeling them a u know what? Just a girl in the world?

This is not about females being able to have equality. This is about someone who didn't care about that movement. Nevermind what we might call men who act in the same way.

But we are talking about one specific person who cared more about herself than her ow kid! But that is okay I guess since once you have one most people are still about what they want. Not about having a kid.

And in my mind, regardless of her parents and their issues along with Lee's, makes kc
horrible regardless. Most people don't act like she did. Were not photographed as she was. And that is not a woman's privilege! It is called class and tact. Her actions were horrible beyond belief: Not name calling..just calling what walks like a duck talks like a duck. And she is ONE.

NG and other media peeps have been chatting about KC's post-killing Caylee activity and have mistakenly included this "No Clothes Party" info and pics in the reports. This party in fact took place I believe in March or May of '08. BRB with the correct date.

I know the visits need to be set up ahead of time, but why don't the A's just go up there and request a visitation. I think if KC knew they were there waiting, she might have a harder time saying no. If I were in that situation, I think I could sit there for hours waiting just to see if I could have a visit. IMO, the only reason to hold back and go through their lawyer and JB for approval first is for self protection.

No one is asking to have an unmonitored meeting. No one is asking for it not to be recorded, no one is asking for it to be private as in not heard by the authorities.

They are just asking that it not be released for everyone to watch. The only way it will be released and watched is if the media requests it.
I only have one question. Why will the media request a copy of this visit?

My impression is that because this is such a high profile case in the news, the news media has either made a blanket and continuing request for all public records or periodically requests all public records. The tape would be a public record. The government entity does not have the right to refuse to disclose public records to a requestor unless it meets an exception to disclosure. The government entity has already determined that all meetings are on camera for security reasons (including making sure contraband doesn't get into the jail because inmates can make weapons and hurt jail staff or attorneys who have face to face visits.) The government has determined that all taped visits are public record. Therefore, the government does not have the discretion under the Florida sunshine law to prevent disclosure of the tape to the media who made a public records release request. It appears the only thing the government entity could do is allow a visit that is not taped; in violation of policy and in light of the earlier contraband -- well, make your best guess how that call will be made by authorities who are being asked to possibly put their staff and defense counsel in jeopardy.

There have been times in the past when Casey approved the visits and then refused to see members of her family while they were waiting. I'd make her beg for a visit, if I were a member of the A family.

When/if Jose walks away, she'll call. Until then, she doesn't need them or want them. They're useless to her. I'd hope that in the months that she's twisted them up like that, that they have gained enough ego strength for themselves to resist a begging for a visit. I would hope further that they would send an emissary to relay that thanks, but no thanks, Mr. and Mrs. Anthony do not wish to convey upon you their presence.

I said it long ago: The best thing these parents could do is turn their back on their daughter and pretend she does not exist. She will definitely be doing that. The worst thing for someone like Casey is to have the "draaaaaama" end. There's a reason there are bars between us and the animals at a zoo. That same reason is why there are bars in prison.

Darn right she's not too keen on a face to face with no excuse to not answer for some of her inconsistencies that might be red flagging the family. I think they want some answers, but I also believe they would stick by her no matter what.

Here's what I don't get. She knows she's being taped. Why not play out the drama that she's so innocent on camera knowing the media will see it? Why not use her family visits to turn the tide?

George, Cindy and Lee may soon visit Casey Anthony in jail.
George and Cindy Anthony asked permission to gather with their daughter to hold a family requiem of sorts for Caylee.

A source close to the family told WESH 2 News the wheels are in motion for that meeting, so the family can mourn Caylee together for a short time.

Casey deserves no special treatment in regards of a private meeting with her parents and brother... she's in jail now... they need to get that through their head. Casey isn't at camp...

Absolutely! And IMO they should've been holding family meetings about her behavior long before any of this happened.

No inmate in FL would be allowed a private visit to "mourn" the loss of a loved one with their family so an inmate who's charged with the loved one's murder definitely shouldn't! Who do these people think they are? Also, judging by the way KC's been avoiding her parents at the hearings, I'd be surprised if she even agrees to the visit..

I think they just want a "private" meeting so they can get their stories straight. They sure don't want to go to trial with all of their "mis-truths" and "half-truth" and "inconsistencies". They need a "private" meeting so that they can "reach out" to one another and make one cohesive lie. JMO, of course.
