anybody buying the duck testimony??
What do you mean?
anybody buying the duck testimony??
FD may be a different story, but as far as johnfear, I'd be skeptical of a man's claim of an ability to read what 1 woman is thinking, much less 10 women.
What do you mean?
most everyone spoke of the missing ducks and then they appear! Reminds me of Michael Peterson and the blow poke
And the female ADA is in the drug unit too. I noticed both names and it somewhat surprised me. Do you think it could be because they have had trial experience with Kurtz in the past and that's why they were plucked out of the drug unit to participate in this trial?
You know, I really like Kurtz. I have grown accustomed to his whine--it doesn't even bother me any more. I am beginning to think he's cute too. Hope I never need him but I have to say he's given 110 percent in this case. I'm going to come away from this trial recommending him to my friends in the Raleigh area if they ever need a specific type of service he is well versed in. I 'liked' his law firm on FB the other day.
If it has a 10.x.x.x address, it's not on a home network as far as I know.
So, would that mean that the router isn't in the house then? Or just that it's using the Cisco network?

[Again, assuming that a Dup Address error is really what's in the log.] The laptop is reporting that some device that has the MAC address of the 3825 has the same IP address as that of the laptop. I don't follow how your scenario accounts for that.
Are you saying that the router did have a 10.x.x.x address or "what if" the router had a 10.x.x.x address? I've not heard anything about what address was in conflict.
I am more inclined to agree with gritguy who has seen more than one jury and believes that just as soon as you think you have the jury figured out, you haven't. (Those are my words, not his. I'm paraphrasing.) Remember that they have not had a chance to discuss any of this. None know what the others are thinking.
There is definitely something we are missing from the testimony. We have been discussing Duplicate IP errors but what was said several times was IP Mismatch error which seems to be something different.
What I'm not understanding is how the error information on the laptop is tracing back to the router.
Someone mentioned something about a 4 hour offset in logs during the "FBI" testimony. I don't know what that was about or have any more information. But if that is correct, could it be 6:21 PM and he still be at work?

Does anyone have any Duplicate IP Address Events in their log?
Just a "what if" question. I haven't heard anything about the specific IP address either, just trying to figure out what people will argue as the information comes out, and trying to see how it fits in with the VPN issue that people were talking about earlier!
So--IF the IP address in conflict was a 10.x IP address, my question would be, at that point, is it because the router is physically at Cisco, or because the network both the laptop and the router are plugged into is for Cisco. I hope I'm making sense. But not knowing the technology of networking very well, I have a hard time ASKING the question I mean to ask.

You are making total sense. I have to say from my perspective that the only way that a conflict could occur with a 10.x address, it had to occur at work. At 10:21 on Friday night at home, the conflict between the laptop and the router could not be a 10.x address no matter where the router was located.

I think that has to do with the UTC. The time was listed as military time -4:00. The same thing was discussed during the direct of JW by Kurtz.
