TY got4  I appreciate.
Did Cassie's house have a dumpster or was it curbside pick up?
not your most photogenic? You take lovely pictures!! :blowkiss: Now are these the locations from one of the 2-3 searches that were done by volunteers or are these some areas that saw some search traffic from Law Enforcement?
I've wondered about dumpsters, too. Sadly, it was so long after her last seen time before her missing status was taken seriously. There is a dumpster that sits one block north, and 1 block west of Cassie's house (at the car wash). Using the alley would have provided cover for transport.
I know back a ways on this or other thread, someone had asked where she might go to get cigs...and Dollar General on Buerkle was mentioned.
According to their website, it closes at 10 pm on Sundays...assuming she did indeed head to get cigs...would it be more likely for her to head there, or to one of the businesses on 22nd? Which area is less busy Sunday evenings, assuming she would not want to be as readily seen? And I noticed a Super 8 motel next to Dollar General....what the scoop on that place...cater to truckers passing thru, or?? More so than Days Inn or Best Western?
Oh...and any motel in particular considered the 'oh gosh don't stay there, it's bad' one?
Wonder if LE ever got video of any places she could have gone to get cigs....
Locals, any thoughts ?
AND did her mama or anyone ever say places she would walk to??
I still find it hard to believe no one saw her walking any where that evening, if she did...if so they sure aren't saying so that we know about.
Forget the darn ducks, where is CASSIE!?!
Has this article been posted? Apologies if so.

Cassie had just come home from staying the night with friends over the weekend. Nothing unusual, her mother said. She remembers saying, “Hi, baby girl,” as she affectionately called her, but she had been sick and in her bedroom. Judy said she never heard the door open when she left.
And that was the last time she saw or spoke to her. The next morning when she found that she wasn’t in her bedroom she started texting Cassie. After no quick response, she sent anothe text. Then she started calling. Her mother said Cassie always answered her phone — text or call. Even if she was hanging with friends, like some teenagers do and ignore that phone call from mom, she never did.
amen!
WHY?
Why not call from the house. Obvious there was a phone available. Why not JC calling the LE to report? Why not he AND JC driving to the PD? Why BR and not JC? It is her child not his.
Makes one wonder when coupled with JC saying he was always grabbing the phone and otherwise interrupting her when she DID eventually talk to LE if he pedalled himself on over to the PD without JC present in order to be the one in charge of the information reported without JC having any input into that dissemination of information about the situation.
This is like a splinter - it bothers and continues to bother.
Behind and catching up again.
1. Maybe there had to be a written report and
2. When called into PD that she was missing the conversation would have gotten to
3. Did she runaway before? The answer would have been yes. so the assumption might have been
4. She ran away again lets give it some time.
5. Was JC's car functional that night? If they had to do a written report would JC stay home in case Cassie came home?
Just some thoughts. You may have already thought of these.
