my first post here. forgive me for my bad typing im not any good at it..i have read this whole thread and i have an opinion..i dont think jc had anything to do with cassies dissapearence i think she knows more about her homelife than she is telling.about the lack of tears maybe she is just cried out or dehydrated.i had someone close to me die and i cried for 3 days till i couldnt cry anymore.i can tell jc is on some powerful pain killers.probably spends more time in bed than anywhere else. i wonder if she did see cassie the night she went missing.i wonder if she even made it home at all.or if jc's boyfriend had anything to do with it.is he still in jail?

Good post, glad you joined the conversation to share your obserations!

Repeating a request -- I really need help tracking down a picture from FB. Somewhere, when I have clicked down into a photos of a friend of Cassie's (or JC or BR or HS or DB or CL), there was a picture of a green '80s Mustang that has been repaired with black panels yet to be repainted green again. I spotted the car after having seen the picture. I know why the car is where it is today, but I need a name of who had the car before it was relocated. I am pretty certain it was on a male's posting, rural background with trees in the distance, summertime, no buildings to recognize.

What is your interest in this vehicle as it pertains to Cassie's case, got4?

I am waiting on my Klaas contact to call me back. (LE has just been one big disappointment to me, thus far.) I hope Klaas helps me get it flushed out as they are great at picking my brain to think of more than I originally thought of on my own. I know I saw picture after Oct. 4 because that is when I started looking for teddy bears and beige drapes in pictures.

[QUOTE whatever it is I can tell it has you worried and you feel it may be very relevant. Even without the name associated with the vehicle I strongly urge you to relay to FBI. If you saw the image on social media around Cassie or this case, my bet is the FBI can track it down and by doing so, find the person associated with it. Do contact them please. :twocents:

I second this. A concern of this nature, as sourced through local and social media, needs to go directly to the FBI for investigation. Not laypeople.[/QUOTE]

This alarms me greatly. No one and I mean no one should be casing out leads and investigating them on their own. Respectfully, we have seen the results of layperson involvement when it came to the discussion regarding evidence got4 indicated was found on local property-evidence recovered by laypeople and stored in a fashion that possibly destroyed anything that might have been useable.

This is a real child and a real case and the FBI is on board here. Respectfully, Klaas Kids is not investigative-they collect leads and they participate in recovery. They do not investigate and if they are asking you, got4, to investigate your own leads I am certain this is a misunderstanding.

Witholding any information that might lead to info in this crime is obstructive. Putting possible lead info on an open and public message board confuses me.

I am being blunt but this is about Cassie. :(

Another note regarding the text, it's been said Cassie was rather quiet during her weekend stay with HS, but soon after being dropped off by him she texts him?

I finally caught up, I think. I have scanned through every friend, and friend of friend. I've read every possible post, anywhere, about this little girl.

In all, I walk away with only one gut feeling. Cassie was quiet all night. BR was waiting out front for her when she got home. I think she knew she was coming home to something.

I also think JC hasn't confessed it yet, but I think she was "out of it" and never saw Cassie that night. Maybe, for all we know, BR did something to ensure JC was 'out of it' so she truly doesn't remember, except what a Mommy wants.... needs... to remember.

In my heart of hearts, I think BR was the last person to see Cassie. What happened between her getting out of HS truck and walking to her front porch? What happened immediately following? Where is Cassie now? I do not feel good about this, and BR is right where he should be. LE just needs to get something concrete to keep him there. Forever.

Edited to add: I never once saw a green mustang in any photos.

i kinda wish they hadn't of stuck BR in the pokey when they did...might coulda been interesting to see where he went & what he did...if they could have like tailed him a while....can you put a tracker on a bike??

I don't recall that soulmagent. If I remember right it was rumored on social media that BR and some friends were out front. HS's mom, TS I think stated on Nancy Grace when she appeared there that HS told her that BR was on the porch when HS dropped Cassie off. But no mention in media that I know of that anyone aside from BR was visible when Cassie left the vehicle for the residence.

Wasnt it first reported that both JC and BH where out front when Cassie was dropped off ?

I believe the portion about the JC & BR was also with friends & was a rumor found by a WSer on a FB comment posted under an article online and posted here.

Partial quote From JVM:
"SNYDER: Cassie`s mom boyfriend actually saw Cassie get out of his truck, walk up the driveway. She did not speak to the mom`s boyfriend at all when

she was walking up the driveway and she went into the house. So I brought that up to him and told him that he seen him get out of my son`s -- seen

Cassie get out of my son`s vehicle, so he knew she was no longer with him or with us. "

This is why it is one of our outstanding questions we have always asked to have clarified.

I am so confused......Looking JC Facebook, she mentions her other children but none of them seem to care about the situation. What does that mean? Am I the only one that really finds that odd. They don't share the missing info or anything. Why are they not supporting their mom in the search for their sister even if it's a half sister? Does this mean they know something that we all don't?

There has NOT been a bus station in Stuttgart since I was a teenager in 1985. There is a limited "pit stop" at the Super 8 Motel for Greyhound / Jefferson lines in Pine Bluff, 35 miles away, but nearest ticket station is Little Rock. (But I don't feel this is very plausible with no purse taken, and she left her phone charger behind. She was very conscious about her hair/face and would want a hairbrush/cosmetics.)

Thanks, got4!

She really was trapped, wasn't she? Oh, my, so that option was impossible. A taxi ride to L. Rock would've cost a million dollars in her world. No way. Oh, my. Hitch-hiking prolly would've been her only remedy unless she had a friend who could keep his/her mouth shut and this would be nearly impossible, IMO. Poor little girl. She was just plain stuck in a hard, hard place.

So the newest article has LE as being quoted that they have no new leads, but two weeks ago they stated they were following up on leads daily.....

(MY OPINION ONLY) I bet the ones who were being quoted have full food plots, ammo charged and ready, double checked all the gear to make sure they did not need to make quick replacements of anything, and the quads ready with fresh oil and filters. This whole missing little girl thing has just dragged on into their precious deer and duck season, and now they cannot be bothered. (MY OPINION ONLY)

I cant help but think how differently this story would be, the publics involvement be, the media presence would be, the total awareness would be if this were the 15 year old daughter of say.... the owner of the big sporting goods store in town, or the daughter of the plant manager for Riceland, instead of the daughter or a divorced woman with a boyfriend young enough to be her own child, who is disabled and lives on pain meds and disability. I think we ALL know that the story would be different.

Regardless of who's this child belongs to, this IS A CHILD and for ONCE in her life, she needs some responsible adults to help her. Poor Cassie, the odds were so against her, it seems maybe even from the very start. You can bet if I had things that bad I would have ran from there long ago! Locals, do not let this story turn to dust just because there are local events and family Holidays mudding the waters, please do everything you can to ensure that this child is at the forefront of everyone's minds. Time will pass really fast from now to the first of the year, and with your own going on's it will be easy to forget this child, please do not let that happen to you, or to anyone else in your town.

Ok, I am going to get off my soapbox for now... I am just bothered to the core to see that Cassie is not home and her name is not on the tip of every locals tongue.

TY honesty-you summed it up beautifully.

My gut says really bad reporting here...
THV11 spoke with Stuttgart police on Friday, Nov. 21 and officials said they have no leads.
It was likely no new leads jmvho. According to the contact at SPD that I spoke to, their legitimate leads ran out the first week. That has been their position pretty consistently across the boards I think.

I think there is a lot more information out there.

The reason I reached out to LE to begin with is that a potential lead was shared with me and I passed it to LE immediately.

I would agree with that-bad reporting, 1/2 the story & no investigative journalism done from the get go...

& totally agree with Honesty's last post as well.

WHERE IS THE HOMETOWN FIGHT FOR CASSIE?

WHERE IS THE HOMETOWN FIGHT FOR CASSIE?
Just making the font a little bigger....This is a town of 9K, not 900K. This is Thanksgiving week. There are going to be people who hurt because Cassie isnt there.

I want to give a shout out to a number of you who have kept plugging along doing what sleuthers do in the face of a missing child. No matter who that child is, or where she is from.

:grouphug:

Today on Judys facebook there is a new post. I however am not Peter Hyatt or anything.

Ditto. I had meant to reply to you earlier. This is HINKY! The past tense is always huge to me. I know Mothers with children missing 7 yrs-they still refer to their child in the present. I know Mothers who lost their child and a YEAR later can not bring themselves to use past tense when talking about them. To me this speaks volumes. MOO, JMO, IMO & all that good stuff.

I actually dont know what to say regarding all of the recent posts with you tube videos etc.

All of this should be about Cassie and the possibility that she is frightened, cold and alone somewhere. :(

(edited to clarify...)

On the Find Cassie Compton page there is a search for volunteers to staff a booth during Wings over the Prairie that will bring attention to her disappearance.

Good work :)

A few tip boxes would be excellent.
