If you are pushing for a more Cassie oriented article, Caring-it would be great if the reporter could confirm who actually reported her missing and when they reported her. And what she was doing or where she was in the days leading up to her disappearance.

Do you mean what do I plan to ask the reporter? I tweeted a bunch of media asking them why they haven't done a follow up with BR to get his side of the story. He was the first to do more than favorite my tweet. He just replied to my email asking me if he could call me later in the week to talk. I obviously said he could. I would like to get a few things together to share with him that we could use to help light a fire for a media outlet to want to cover Cassie's; story in a different way. Even just to get him to get to BR and ask "his side of the story" and response to being a suspect.

Thank you!!
:)

I
Indeed. Specifically now that we've caught the 5:00 vs 6:05 discrepancy. How did we overlook that before? Was it improperly transcribed? I need to go back and listen to the JVM interview all over again.
I always find myself catching up by reading last page first.. so I keep reading , hoping I'll
get a clue lol. If you can quickly point me in direction of this info... if not I will go back to reading :)

" Specifically now that we've caught the 5:00 vs 6:05 discrepancy" I still can't find what you might be referring to, and after reading the "what-we-know", I didn't get any suspicions myself except to feel more convinced that BR did something to her (if the stuff under the bridge was his?) I'll have to reread and think some more. Thanks for this link though, it's very helpful to have everything together like that. I had forgotten some info.

Out of curiosity, i just listened to the audio interview just now. The first time it kept stopping every second and i heard the 5. I just replayed it to view the time mark and by golly she actually said 6:05. But here's the thing. I replayed it again to make sure, and it keeps skipping and all I hear is the 5. I've cleared my cache and I still keep hearing just 'fahv' (5) but I'm certain she said "six o fahv". I could swear it's transcribed wrong, because I know I heard 6:05 once but I can't get it to play that spot... about the 55 second mark. She has a heavy accent.

Gig I got your back, I heard the 6:05 there too, someone was talking over her and it kind of got lost in there and the '5' was all that was really clear, after numerous tries 6:05 can be heard :) and yeah, it isn't just 5

and later she says the 6:05 again
sigh, well
transcription error

those are rather precise times though...I would have been oh around 6 back around 7

I'm glad someone else heard 6:05. Transcripts needs to be updated.

Ever since Nicole Brown Simpson was murdered, I try to look at the clock when something strikes me as out of the ordinary. Sometimes I forget, then when I remember I kind of round back to 'about' when I think I saw/heard the whatever. I'm not at all surprised that people are aware of times.

It doesn't help that JVM interrupted her during what was probably the most important part of the interview :/

It does say 6:05 the second time. First time shows just 5.

Both transcripts still show "Hunter took her home - left her house about 5." and then after the Saturday versus Sunday conversation it shows "left our house at 6:05." So we're thinking the first one was just audio/transcription error?

I think so. I think it's very possible whoever transcribed it was having the same issue as I am. It skips exactly right there and all I hear is 5.

This child cant catch a break it seems. We need something to be nailed down. :(

Does anyone remember BR saying he went to SPD to report Cassie missing and they told him he had to wait something like 72 hrs? Did I dream that? Lol

Re: Searches...

On 12/21/14, Got4 indicated that there was an outside group organizing a search for Cassie but they were having trouble finding motels because of duck hunting season:
There are some plans being discussed with another out-of-state group to do a new grid search. (I am just aware, not a leader in that negotiation.) They definitely have interest, but are having a little difficulty choosing a date. Motels here are booked solid through the end of duck season (end of January), especially on weekends, making it more difficult to bring in a large group. Safety (hunters in rural areas) and weather (damaging private roads, if muddy) are also considerations. They are asking questions to help balance out when they can bring in the most experienced outsiders versus when will they have the most locals available to volunteer.

I hope they do more searching in water.

We also had Oriah mention an upcoming search here on 1/28/15:
Things are happening. I'm not speaking for any SM platform that's speaking of 'things happening.' I'm speaking from what I know, which is totally different information than what many post on SM. We do not post anything on SM.

There is a search planned- and while I thank you tremendously for your offer of assistance; it's date, location, and time will not be made public, nor will the public have access to participating in it. I'm sorry. It is the only way we can effectively conduct a search using certain methods safely and efficiently at this point in time, in this particular area.
Thank you for understanding, and thank you for the kindness and passion driving your desire to help find Cassie.

Is this the same planned search or are there multiple groups? If it is multiple groups, has either group searched or do they still plan to?

"In the third -- third phone call, he said that he did. He went to the police department, and they told him that it would be a 72-hour wait. "

Taken from JMV interview with TS linked above. Sorry I can't seem to be able to paste the link here.
My question is why would BR say this if Cassie never made it home? Don't get me wrong I don't believe he went to SPD, but why would he even make that up if she never came home?
I hope that makes sense.
