My heart is breaking for this child. How could her family not have know something had happened? This is a two year old and a grown man! Perhaps I need a break for a while. It's so upsetting.............

Police said Sholds’ ex-girlfriend lost her phone after her son took it and gave it to Sholds, the boy’s father. After the ex-girlfriend recovered her cell phone, she noticed a video on it apparently showing Sholds having sex with a very young girl, later identified as the two-year-old daughter of an acquaintance, according to a preliminary report from the Washington County Prosecutor’s Office.

The young girl on the video was later identified as the daughter of a woman whom Sholds was living with at the time.

Sholds denied the accusations to police and said he had never resided at the girl's home. Police learned that the suspect had lived there for at least nine days.

holds, who was listed as homeless in county jail records, reportedly denied being in the video but police say they also matched the voice on the video to Sholds. Police say an investigation revealed he had lived in the same home as the girl for at least the last nine days.

Oh, good. Thank goodness that thing was born. Totally not a waste of resources, space, or energy.

May he at least comfort a fellow inmate or two, assuming justice does its job here.

Sholds plead guilty and was sentenced in Nov. 2014.

Scott Sholds, 32, of Fayetteville was sentenced to 80 years in prison without the possibility of parole.
