GUILTY AR - Jersey Bridgeman, 6, raped & murdered, Bentonville, 20 Nov 2012 #1

  • #221
Investigators were back at the crime scene Friday and spoke with a woman who lives in the home between Jersey’s home and the house where she was found dead. It’s also one of the homes where police collected evidence sent to the state crime lab.
When asked if she knew Jersey, the woman replied: “Pray for her family, that’s all I ask.”
5NEWS asked her if she lived there with her husband and she told our crew to get off of the property.

To give you an idea of how the 3 houses searched are laid out on the street.

Holy cr@p, that's incredibly close to her home. Thank you for the photo. It really puts things into perspective. Mind boggling to me...and, something stinks here. Btw, does AR have the DP?

Notice how small and high the bedroom windows are in Jersey's house. It would be hard to climb in there and abduct a child through those windows.

Yes, by lethal injection. There have been 25 or so executions in the last couple decades. Roughly, I'm sure someone will tell me I'm wrong- so let it be stated that I'm just recalling from memory. MOO JMO :)

They're working out a few glitches right now.
On June 22, 2012, the state supreme court ruled the current execution law unconstitutional because it let the executive branch decide on some execution issues that the legislature should have.[1]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capital_punishment_in_Arkansas

Is this the Fox news article? It was posted today. Mom put her to bed at midnight & reported her missing at 6:30 am. Interesting no signs of forced entry.

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2012/11/2...girl-question-sex-offenders-in/#ixzz2D4S4vXtG
Two statements that stood out for me in the above article are:

"Jersey was living with her biological mother, DesaRae Bridgeman, at her home in Bentonville, about 215 miles northwest of Little Rock. The girl had previously lived with her father, David Bridgeman, and stepmother, Jana Bridgeman, who are both serving prison terms for chaining Jersey to a dresser last year."

**So... if this is true.. it answers the question of whether Jersey was visiting or living with her bio dad and stepmother when the chaining to dresser events took place.**

"Thompson declined to say who, besides Jersey's mother, was living in the home at the time of her disappearance."

**I wonder why LE does not wish to share the information regarding the other person(s) who lived in the house at the time of Jersey's death. :waitasec: **

Are these mobile homes with carports? They look incredibly small. jmo

he, she, it. Whomever called it in. She is just my go to when I'm speaking generally.

Although, I am working under the guarded assumption that her mother called in until I hear otherwise. It very well could be that she called her boyfriend and he called, or that she wasn't even home. Who knows for sure.

ETA- and it's entirely possible that they had a tip off the abandoned house in some way that it was checked first. I agree it's a VERY short span of time for everything to happen, even with the close proximity to the police station. They are super efficient, but even then it's quite something how fast it developed.

Could the person who made the 9-1-1 call have already stumbled upon Jersey in the abandoned house during an immediate search after finding her missing...

Then have called LE from that very location...(where Jersey was found deceased)?

Just an idea that may answer question of how was it that LE found Jersey in such a short amount of time after the 9-1-1- call...

I can't say for certain either way on this specific house, but we have several pockets of these small style houses with small windows like this in the downtown region that are actually houses.

I would say there are a few trailers mixed in, but there aren't really any "trailer intensive" areas where you would expect to see a lot of trailers in one stretch. Not that I'm familiar with anyway.

Is the mobile home where the RSO lived? tia

As far as we know so far, no. The utilities are listed to Joseph Blackmon, link up thread. Joseph Blackmon is on DesaRae's facebook friend list and has checked in at the EZMart where the other two work. I do not know if that means he works there as well, or if he just visited them, or what. No news of him being an RSO that I have seen.

I think that's possible, sure.

I don't think Jersey's house or the murder house are mobile homes. The one in the middle is a trailer with a deck and porch built on. Zillow lists Jersey's house as having 1056 sq ft. http://www.zillow.com/homes/704-se-A-st.,-bentonville,-ar_rb/

1000 sq feet is not as big as a small apartment. DB had at least one other child besides Jersey. Of course the size of her home has nothing to do with what happened. I don't even know why I commented on it. I guess it just bugs me. Especially if there were multiple animals in the home. I don't see a fence. jmo

BTW I don't believe in love at first sight. DB and JT's relationship was 2 months barely and he loves his new family so much. I am very leary of that. jmo

I thought his reference to 'his girls' was a bit premature too. JMO creepy but JMO Hate to see women rush into 'things' when there are children to think about..
