I would think in a case like this, of a missing child, LE would almost immediately run background checks on everyone who was last known to be closest to him. Any kind of affiliation with local government offices, employment, etc. I'm sure they already know all these questions we're wondering about (who lives where) but it sure is frustrating not knowing for sure which parent Malik actually lives with. Just so frustrating he seems to be gone without a trace, just like baby Delano Wilson. :(

(O/T: recent article about baby Delano for those who need a refresher on that case: (http://www.wthr.com/story/26619451/2014/09/24/parents-of-missing-indianapolis-baby-demand-answers)

I can't believe Malik, cute little fellow, hasn't been found yet. It really shouldn't be a shock. The little fellow from New Braunsfeld (sp) hasn't been found either and he also disappeared from a house full of people.

Isn't that the truth. A house full of adults and years later not one of them admits to having a clue what happened. No conscience at all.

I watched a news report lastnight from a few days ago and the father was speaking on that asking for malik's safe return...

I can't find the link now :(

This is a video with both his Mom and Dad speaking. The step-mom isn't in it.

Sorry for the 30 second lead-in commercial--- you know how everything is profit driven these days.........

Thanks for posting (I need to start watching these interview more instead of just reading :blushing:).

Police leave woods near Spring Park. Whatever items they said they found didn't warrant their stay. #FindMalik

I can't even think of any woods near Spring Park. Looked on google earth to try to refresh my memory, but not seeing anything I would consider woods anywhere I would consider near Spring Park. Near is a relative term, of course. Maybe woods is relative also...

From the above link:

“The whole City of Searcy, with the exception of a few areas on the far east side, have been searched already,” said Cpl. Hernandez."

[snip]

"We followed the creek and the woods all the way back there,” said volunteer Dee Andrews."

[snip]

"It was first reported that Malik is autistic, but Corporal Steve Hernandez said there is no medical documentation to show that Malik Drummond was diagnosed."

"After a brief meal, searchers were anxious to get back into the field and take advantage of the sunshine.

One of them is Wade Mullins, who traveled from Cabot, Arkansas to help look for Malik.

“We’re actually headed over by the ball field; gonna checks around the bridges and the ball field. And a gentleman has his dog and we’re gonna search over there,” said Wade Mullins."

Searcy 2-year-old still missing on Day 6
11:10 a.m. CST November 28, 2014
http://www.baxterbulletin.com/story/news/local/2014/11/27/day-5-missing-searcy-2-year-old/19596789/

BBM:
"Police said Friday the search resumed for 2-year-old Malik Drummond — who was reported missing by his father and stepmother late Sunday afternoon."

(Good to know they are still out there tirelessly searching, bless their hearts! We can take comfort in knowing that Malik is really being looked for, and thoroughly, by many, many people and teams!

(In so many cases I/we have to complain about the lack of searching, and/or we spend all this time with maps going "they need to search there" ...well, imo we don't have to do that in this case (at least not yet, knock on wood), because I truly believe, especially after Wed's pc and all msm since then including today's, that they are searching every nook and cranny. jmo.)

Has it been said if he ever wandered away before? Is he typically a wanderer or a runner?
