AR AR - Morgan Nick, 6, Alma, 9 Jun 1995

I could always be wrong but kidnapping children from a densely populated place seems like something mostly repeat offenders do.. it doesn't seem like a "first offense"... I would speculate that the perpetrator had kidnapped children before although he didn't necessarily hold them for very long before releasing them... I'm not sure how they haven't caught this guy yet... given the fact that the same person who kidnapped Morgan was the same man who tried to seduce the 4 year old and maybe the same man who tried to seduce the 9 year old into the bathroom... he doesn't seem to be careful with his planning... not only is he trying to commit a bold crime but he's doing it in a high risk environment.. that's mind boggling to me...
the two sketches of the suspect in that link also seem quite different to me...
it's scary to think how quickly children can disappear... the mother was keeping a very close eye on her and that wasn't enough..
it just takes a moment when no one is watching...
forgive us little baby for not looking out for you As you deserve, as a society we owe you our lives... that miserable man should have been in prison for life or sentenced to death...
whatever the case
rest in peace
I genuinely believe that Lincks' son was involved. He resembles the suspect sketch and he has a criminal record.

A resolution introduced by Rep. Ryan Rose seeks to recognize Colleen Nick and the Morgan Nick Foundation for their decades-long dedication to preventing abductions and helping recover missing and exploited children.

*****
Rose said that in January 2025, at least 16 missing children were safely located through the Morgan Nick Foundation's collaboration with the Arkansas State Police. Inspired by these efforts, he introduced House Resolution 1063, which seeks to formally recognize Colleen Nick and the foundation 30 years after Morgan’s disappearance.

"I’m proud to sponsor this resolution in honor of Colleen and the Morgan Nick Foundation's work, not only in our state but across the nation," Rose said. "The foundation has made a significant impact in our fight against child abductions and exploitation, and we are thankful for their unparalleled dedication."

I wonder what happened with the camper. If it was heavy It’s possible someone helped him take it off.

The department launched NeverForgotten.ar.gov in 2016 in partnership with the state attorney general’s office. The database will now “automatically capture” a missing person report to the National Crime Information Center by local law enforcement agencies, according to the news release. The report will alert both the Arkansas State Police and the U.S. Marshals Service.

Arkansas has more than 400 unsolved cases of missing persons between 1 and 91 years old. A case from 30 years ago, the abduction of 6-year-old Morgan Nick of Alma, remained “active and ongoing” as of October, when the Alma Police Department announced it had uncovered new DNA evidence linking Nick to her suspected kidnapper, who died in prison in 1996.

The Morgan Nick Foundation, a missing children’s advocacy group founded by Nick’s mother, is one of the groups that actively supports the Arkansas Department of Public Safety’s efforts to solve missing persons cases, according to Friday’s news release
