That filing says Charity requested an emergency hearing following the final hearing on Dec. 2. When she reportedly didn't show up for the emergency hearing, authorities conducted a welfare check and found Charity and her two children dead at their home on Dec. 3.

While Randall's lawyer had no comment about John's efforts to intervene in the divorce case, he said Charity did not request an emergency hearing after the Dec. 2 hearing.

IMO, we will at some point learn the welfare check was requested by friends of Charity's. Perhaps they showed up to the final hearing to support her, and were alarmed when she was not in court?

I guess I'm still waiting on confirmation if an emergency hearing was actually requested after the final divorce proceeding or not.

One side says CB requested it.

The other side says it wasn't requested.

The court has not uploaded documentation of it.

Can you really get a next day emergency hearing? The last one CB requested was responded to 4 days later with a notice of withdraw by the defendant.

Yes; they ALL seem like a mess on closer scrutiny. What royal messed up dynamics all around. We found this to very often be the case with BPD teens. It was easy to see how they became so given their earlier years, experiences, and environments, but once adults, the crazy-making stir-the-pot behaviors are ...well.... crazy-making.

In addition to the 2 young children victims who were murdered, likely at the hands of one or the other of their own parents, I would respectfully add John to that short list of unfortunate victims. His childhood was screwed up by the drama around him and I admire him greatly for rising beyond his earlier years. May he be strengthened and guided through this final chapter in his mother's story, reach resolution in knowing he was loved in the way each of them knew how, and grow into a strong future with healthy supportive friends and family of his own creation.

I remain a bit confused with John. I was a bit concerned as to WHY he was so out there with the deaths.
I would just believe the family would have been in too much shock to be out there in the news right away.
AND I am so sure that John has some good ol hatred for Beallis. But what was the REAL relationship with his mother like in recent years??? Did the upcoming divorce have any impact on him>?

Then again, Lori Vallow's older son keep popping in to my head...and I DO see John as a victim.

Attorneys for Powell and Randall Beallis reached an agreement regarding the disposition of the remains, which the court approved, according to the order. Under that agreement, Powell will assume responsibility for his mother’s burial expenses, while Randall Beallis will make arrangements for the burial of the children.

I wonder how many Doctors nation-wide have three offenses of this nature on thier record - not including his very concerning actions on the police record, regarding the suicide of his first wife? Or that two of his three wives ended up dead

Beallis lives a very messy personal life and it hasn't improved over the years in any of his three marriages. The comment from Charity about controlling people with fear, also concerning. I don't know what the origins are, but feel she had mental health issues which were never diagnosed or treated.

Right now, I am considering the possibility of a M/S. It's possible she was so invested in prevailing in court, when she didn't - she couldn't face a future of having her children on a reduced schedule and co-parenting with a narcissistic terrorist.

I wonder what this being found means.
My initial thought is "Wow! That's amazing, all of the things that would need to align for this circumstance to occur! So serendipitous!" My second thought is "That seems convenient...a little too convenient."


The items were found at The Reserve at Chaffee Crossing on Chad Colley Boulevard. The dumpsters are located on their own side road on the south side of the apartment complex.

Warner spoke with Charity’s adult son, John Powell, who said he met with this woman at his attorney’s office, and she shared the same story with them.
