GUILTY Arizona girl, 2, left in car by father on 109-degree day and is found dead #2 (guilty plea, father found dead 5 November 2025 before sentencing)

KIs he wearing an ankle monitor?
I haven’t seen anything about a monitor being ordered for him, I rewatched the perp walk after his conference on Wednesday and couldn’t see one. If he hasn’t had one he certainly should now because the closer we get to November 5, the larger going to P R I S O N is going to be in Christopher’s mind. I cannot imagine going to prison for 30 years because I was too self centered to take my child (or anyone’s child) out of the car and bring them in the house, especially on a day you could literally fry an egg on the sidewalk.109* 🤦🏼

He’s still out with no bond, right? So, no one has money on the line if he did happen to go ‘missing’.

Sounds like Christopher may have been cheating on ES…Detail Incident Report
I’m sorry sometimes I’m slow, where are you reading anything about a side piece? The link doesn’t work for me, Access Denied and the attachment I’m seeing is the interview with Christopher’s oldest daughter, what am I missing?

That is correct as far as I know.

Personally, I don’t believe he feels remorse at all. But he’s also apparently not that much of an idiot to take his chances. Anyone who has watched the remote body cam video of him that day, the whole disgusting display of total disregard for his dying daughter and utter self-absorption, as well as read any of the testimony of the previous Daughter knows that this guy was toast, his attorney knew it, and I think convinced him it was in his best interest to take a plea. I am sure the jury would have found him as despicable and unsympathetic as I have.

This is not your typical hot car death, not by a long shot. He repeatedly engaged in what amounts to Russian Roulette with his daughter’s lives. There is plenty of evidence of that that would have been admitted.

I have mixed feelings about the plea. I hoped to have all his misdeeds and bad behaviors brought to light and exposed, particularly so Erika could see and hear it in one fell swoop and she could realize what an absolute low-life loser she has chosen over her daughters and her own mother.

All I can say is I hope the judge doesn’t let him go off on another Hawaiian vacation before he starts serving time. Or that he doesn’t do a runner.

Oh and Erika? Once your hubby is locked up, make better choices.
“Russian roulette “ is the perfect way to describe what he did to his daughters.

Also the game that mom was playing when leaving all 3 of the children under his care...

(URL contains the word prøn so it got changed sorry)

Scholtes' wife allegedly sent him a text that read: "I told you to stop leaving them in the car, How many times have I told you?”

I mean..... how many times do you decide to tell your baby daddy until you up and leave him and PROTECT YOUR OWN BABIES???

Imma go with.... ONCE BYE

Let's just remind ourselves of how he reacted when officers initially arrived and how Christopher made it ALL about himself. @9:04 he insists on taking a shower!?!?!?!?

Was the oldest daughter (his first child) still going to testify, or was that evidence disallowed? Maybe the details of what she alleged, plus neighbor/"friend" testimony, are things they didn't want coming out at a trial?

Could someone briefly paraphrase anything new that hasn't been mentioned before?

Oh my gosh, reading Erika's mothers interview with police is very eye opening. It starts on page 243 of the documents.
This entire download was eye opening I kept going back to it lots of pages but very informative!!

I Should have jumped to that page. His behavior at the funeral, wearing one of the flowers in his hair. Says he routinely breaks into sobs, bending over, when someone comes, but with no "tears".

But before that page: PS had extensive skin slippage, extensive. Referred to by one observer as blisters. Her legs were dark. Much more.

Another part I won't forget there were finger and palm prints smearing the bottom of the inner car window next to her car seat. Where she was confined. The rest of the car windows had nothing like that. 146deg= temp of her baby seat during experimental tests. I'm sorry, she was tortured.

I see clearly now that if the interviews of the friends, neighbors and relat8ves were admitted, the game was over. I had trouble initially envisioning 1st degree, but not now. In retrospect the blocking of the poorn watching evidence was not important at all, imo.

Cynthia and Juan spilt all the tea, dropped all the mikes. They would have been devastating on the witness stand.

Iirc. Brings one of the wandering babies home, checks throughout the house for CS. But CS not present in house while young child of his is walking through neighborhood, knocking on doors. Cs later changes story to say he briefly drove to store. After witness insists he wasn't home.

I can't get over the fact that he suggested to his wife they have another baby when Parker was barely cold. Like she was replaceable, like a piece of broken furniture. I guess to him she was.

Cs's friends shortly thereafter bought the near 40 year old a new playstation and another friend got him a nice red toy, er, car.

He's obviously surrounded himself with enablers his whole life.

It's going to be interesting to see how he adjusts to prison. He hasn't had pretrial jail to ease him in. I suspect he's going to throw tantrums.
