Infuriating… the various temperature readings when LE was conducting tests on the car to determine how long it took after the car turned off for the interior temperature to rise.
After about an hour the temperature of Parker’s car seat rose to 149 degrees Fahrenheit!
Even the outside temperatures caused great discomfort for the officers, who needed copious amounts of ice, water and Gatorade along with breaks to sit in their air conditioned cars.
Imagine a helpless toddler strapped into that car seat for hours.
I really don’t get it. I’m back in Florida after 25 years in the PNW. Get into a hot car on a hot day just once and you’ll never, ever consider leaving any child, adult or animal locked in that car for minutes, let alone hours. How can anyone living in “hot” states not be aware of this?
Nasty, selfish man deserves to go to prison. And his wife… I can’t even. Grr!
