We've all so been hoping for closure. Agreed, that poor family.

So it took them ten days to determine the wisdom tooth wasn't from Natalee because she had hers removed?! :waitasec: Why the big build up? Why the games and charade? I just don't get it. I didn't think they could get any more despicable and pathetic. I was wrong. :(

I completely agree. I am stunned that they would put the family through this. How terrible for them :(

Peter DeVries spoke to Beth, she had just been notified by the FBI at the same time. Dave had still not been notified minutes before Aruba made the public announcement.

It's pretty obvious that they notified the family attorneys and the FBI right before sending out the presser to the public. Despicable and pathetic is right suzihawk.

Statement from Dave re: HLN:

"We appreciate everyone's thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. We remain hopeful that some day we will find the answer to the where abouts of our daughter, Natalee Holloway. Again, we want to thank everyone for their support in our efforts to find justice. We ask that you continue to remember Natalee in your thoughts and prayers."

Wasn't it reported that the dental records were received Friday evening? That allowed for Monday to make the comparison and complete the paperwork, and Tuesday to release the results.

Why do you think this was a game and charade?

I guess this is why sloot laughed and said no when informed of this mandible. He knows exactly where she is, IMO.
It's just like Casey Anthony's lack of reaction when they told her of the find of bones in Jay Blanchard Park. She knew that wasn't where Caylee was "buried"...:furious:

Makes me sick to know that anyone can laugh about murder like that. Shows their true colors, for sure!

Now is the time for the Satish and Deepak, the Kalpoe brothers, to come forward what they know. :praying:

Please Satish and Deepak, please tell what you know. Please give Beth and Dave some closure.

The dental records were sent electronically last Tuesday additional records were also sent.

They determined early on (via inspection) that it was a white female. One would think they would also be able to distinguish a molar from a wisdom tooth. One quick courtesy call would have told them that Natalee had hers removed. Of course, they're not into courtesy.

The entire case has been one big game (hide and seek) and charade. IMO, of course.

There have been various reports about dental records being requested Tuesday or sent Tuesday, sent to the NFI Wednesday, sent to the FBI, but according to the NFI, they were received on Friday evening.

I thought after he laughed it would turn out this way. I think his reaction was helpful as it helps to figure out it true confident behavior verse his fake confident behavior.

I just pray she is found for her mothers sake. She needs it so much. I do think she will have her answers someday.

According to the statement from the NFI, it is not possible to determine whether a jaw bone is male or female simply by looking at it. As for a "courtesy call", I suspect the NFI had to make an official determination based on records and factual documents, so a "courtesy call" would not be a credible method for completing a forensic analysis on a bone - which was what they were required to do.

No, I don't. I've been reading about this for the last week, and I'm basing my comment on that information.

The below quote has Dave saying that he was in the process of providing the records on Thursday.

"SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico — Authorities have requested the dental records of missing U.S. teen Natalee Holloway, her father said Thursday, as Dutch investigators analyze a jawbone with a tooth in it that was found last week in Aruba.

Dave Holloway told The Associated Press he is in the process of providing the records and added that he has received no new official information on the case."

MY :twocents:

That was last monday....

The Netherlands Forensic Institute has been examining the bone since last Monday, comparing the teeth to Holloway’s dental records, dental X-rays and teeth impressions and extracting DNA from the bone, according to Fox News Channel.
