Also, there is a natalee link
This is the Robyn Gardner thread

You are right, this is the Robyn Gardner thread.

The links I provided w/ information concerning the corruption in Aruba were introduced because, imo, it is a legitimate concern in the investigation of Robyn's disappearance, that she has yet to have been found, and, that the only suspect in her disappearance is walking free among us.

There are some obvious similarities in these two cases, Robyn's and Natalee's,
primarily, they both disappeared from Aruba without a trace and, the investigation by Aruban authorities has been more than questionable. The corruption issue in both cases is imo, a serious problem.

So when we are talking about Robyn's case and these corruption issues arise concerning Aruba and it's investigation and handling of the case, then Natalee's case may just naturally come into the equation. I'm not sure if or how that can entirely be avoided.

For me, the only important thing is finding Robyn, or at least finding what happened to her and getting justice for her. The rest is not important.

Lack of information and rumors and then second and third hand information is not good. I see this case going nowhere quick. It will end up unsolved I am thinking.

The similarities make it inevitable that comparisons will be made, and its difficult to keep them seperated. But your last (bolded by me) statement is the most important, and what everyone here wants to see happen.Could not agree more.

Not much they can do if they can't prove she died even though it is pretty clear she did die.

Plus anywhere there are casinos there is mob influence. That is where the big money comes from. jmo

Hunam trafficking happenes everywhere even in our cities and towns

I am not saying that it couldn't happen in Aruba

I am saying that if this were the case....

GG would have had contact with people before leaving the US

OR

GG would have had contact with people on the Island in the two days they were there

OR

GG knew nothing about it

Nobody has mentioned in any statement to the police that they saw a boat

I believe GG is the one who mentioned that , heard it in jail

Nobody saw them go into the water

So what is your thoughts on this?
Where did he meet an accomplise?
Where did he take her for the "meet"
Where was the boat?

Could you point out the corruption in the Robyn gardner case please?

If there is a mob influence in this, does there have to be a boat?, would they not have access to a private plane or helicopter, is there a private airfield on Aruba?..

And if she was trafficked or sold into prostitution, with all her identifying markings, and the publicity she would be instantly recognizable, it would be so much easier to 'sell' a more plain jane type of person..

Why would the "mob' be interested in one woman?

Money laundering in the casinos, drug trafficking, graft, yes

And as in most societies, have people working for them on the inside
Now, understand, this is all my opinion and speculation

GG had no influence in Aruba, he was nothing more than another tourist

OMG, no. I never said that. There was a post that the mob had influence in Aruba and I commented that anywhere there is a casino there is mob influence. It takes a lot of money to start a casino. I know that when my husband and I first purchased our condo in Aruba there was talk of money laundering through the casinos. The casinos in Aruba today are not the money makers there were years ago. Many times you go in and there are not many people in there. Since Aruba won there freedom I'm not sure how much influence is still down there. If there is it is very low keyed and not much different than what you would see here in the states. Those mob connections want to appear as more "mainstream" business, just as they are here. Investors have put a lot of money into Aruba.

GG did this alone, IMO. He expected them to find her body or for LE to rule she drowned so he could claim that insurance money. This is the way it appears to me and obviously to many others. jmo

There is one airfield in Aruba and a small helicopter pad downtown near the water. All traffic whether you are on a boat or plane is monitored. jmo

Nothing's been reported about GG and Robyn going to the Casinos before she disappeared, but it's hard to believe that they didn't. If so GG could easily have met up with someone there in complete privacy. Also, I doubt that we'll ever hear of any witnesses that saw them there, or see any videos of them in the Casinos such as the one that was leaked to the media in the NH case.

and because there has been no mention of them going, its quite possible they didn't
Many people spend far more time than a couple of days there and never enter a casino

If they did go to a casino, they would be surrounded by other tourists so I am not sure how much privacy they would have

I doubt GG met up with anyone at all, but if that would be the case, the casino, full of people would be unlikely IMO

Could you point out the corruption in the Robyn gardner case please?

I just see no reason to believe that the same corruption in Aruba that caused the NH case to go unsolved, doesn't still exist. Also, the last interview done by Greta on this subject was in 2008, not that long ago.

I'm beginning to see so many similarities in Robyn's case to the NH case, it's just one more huge red flag to me.

Both cases:

-Young blonde, very attractive woman disappears under suspicious circumstances, virtually no witnesses, or determined unreliable and debunked by ALE.

-Only known suspect / suspects, were last known persons to be seen with the victim.

-Both prime suspects have questionable backgrounds: GG, a criminal background and history of physical, emotional and sexual abuse of women. JVDS, a history of date raping women, then convicted of murder in Peru.

-High probability that both women were drugged according to witness statements
NH case, believed to have probably been drugged at C & C's.
RG case, videos of GG going to car and refilling cup, and stating she had taken a sleeping pill in the middle of the day, and reports she seemed drowsy.

-No physical evidence of a crime, no body.

-Questionable delays in ALE investigation of their disappearances.
NH case, they delayed their search for some time altogether.
RG case, they delayed investigating it as a possible crime and delayed bringing in search dogs, even refusing to allow them to be brought in
early on from the states.
Thus, in both cases giving ample time for evidence to be disposed of, destroyed, or in the case of the electronics, erased.

-Questionable delays by ALE in impounding the vehicles as evidence, allowing the evidence to be compromised or destroyed.

-Both / all suspects arrested and held, but eventually released for lack of evidence.

These are just some of the things I can come up with at the moment, there could be more.

Maybe that's the only way GG could pay a debt.

What I see is two cases

Two blondes, one eighteen and one thirty five or so, same sex, same location

One meets up with a local Dutchman, one travels to Aruba with her American date

To the best of my knowledge, no proof of drugs in Holloway case? Robin brings her own pills

And I am sorry but I don't recall that history of date rape?
But I am sure you have a link in the holloway thread

You know that the car was given back to the rental company and not searched because that first night there was not thought to be a crime

And according to many posts here, searching began immediately

Erasing records? Are you speaking of GGs home computer?
Never picked up by MSN and apparently that is the only reliable source used here

I am so willing to listen to any evidence anyone has about corruption in THIS case
At this point in time, i don't see an links about this pertaining to gardner, which is why we are here

Given proper links and reports on THIS case, I could easily change my mind I am open to anything that is not rumour, or opinion only

You see, I would love to see the truth come out so that RGs family could have peace of mind

GG? I couldn't care one way way or the other, guilty or innocent, doesn't matter to me as long as the truth comes out
