What would be the reason behind kidnpping her after she went to Aruba willingly?

Well, we can only speculate. She has vanished without a trace, and GG was the last one with her.

First GG claimed she drowned accidentally, which is highly questionable. Which brings in the murder theory and why he was held for four months in an Aruban prison.

Then on national television, he suggests she may have been taken by human traffickers. So that would bring in the kidnapping theory.

Regardless of which scenario, he was involved. jmo

That remark on national TV was unbelievable!!!
Why even say that after saying they were snorkelling?

Anyway, a kidnapping would have to have some benefit and would involve others

What would be GGs reasoning and how would others benefit

Except he could not be charged with Kidnapping, aiding and abetting maybe..

well... what if he planned a kidnapping

JMO, but I don't think she was kidnapped

I could not agree with you more, but we are not the ones that bring the charges. There must be reasons why no charges have been brought. As reguards kidnapping, someone has to be held against their will, and she was there with him of her own free will, she did not have to go to Aruba with him..JMO too LOL..:dunno:

My point is that GG started floating the human trafficking story, this was after he claimed for four months that Robyn drowned accidentally. This is akin to KC sitting in jail for months, then coming up with the "Caylee drowned in the family pool and my father covered it up" story. So why would GG change the story now? To try and bring more questions and to shed more doubt on the possible pending murder charges, perhaps?

Or is there something to it, and he can just bring the idea into the equation, and claim to have had nothing to do with it and he thinks he can come across as a total innocent..... :waitasec:, yeah, right.

Robyn went freely to Aruba, not against her will. But she disappeared after she got there while in the company of a man with a history of violence against women, deception, and criminality in general. If she's not dead, the next most likely alternative is that she was taken and is being held against her will in some other country, jmo.

I personally think it's more likely that GG killed her. But if the man wants to deny she is dead, and claim now that she was taken by traffickers, then that's kidnapping, abduction, human trafficking. Whatever you want to call it, he is still behind it. jmo

He spoke in detail about the swimming trip
Even found towels and clothing in the area

Then, he learns three fisherman tell a different story
He probably also heard RFs take on Human Trafficking
No question, he is lying about things

JMO, but I don't think she was kidnapped

if he planned it, that would be conspiracy to kidnapp. not the actual kidnapp.JMO

BBM. That's my thinking, can only be proven if they find something on his computers. Wish ALE, FBI, anyone, would just tell us something, anything. :waiting:

I so agree
I am aware they have no obligation to do so, but news would be good

Even if he drugged her, then drove her somewhere on the island, physically removed her by force from the car, then handed her off to someone else?

Mind you, where i am from we may have different charges...

You may be right, conspiracy to kidnap, and aiding and abetting.

well, we know that whatever happened, she was not wearing her dress as it was found at Nanki
I can only assume her bag and shoes are accounted for as there has been no reports about them missing

When the witnesses saw them leave, I guess we can also assume Robyn was wearing her dress

I would like to know why the same fishermen, or fisherman who remained there did not see GG return with a towel and her dress

I have to say, that my belief is that Robyn is no longer alive. The kidnapping angle is just another one to consider unless / until her body is recovered.

I expect it would be hard to stay under the radar when you have a very unique appearance and your face has been all over the media

:dunno: I have wondered this as well, but maybe he was just busy with his fishing looking in another direction at that moment when GG arrived back and put down the towels.

At this point there is only one witness who claims he saw him after GG returned and that was Mr. Silva. He did not see him return only when GG had summons LE. Mr. Silva said his attention was drawn to the fact that GG was driving the wrong way down to the point and he was driving somewhat recklessly after 4pm. He probably wondered where the fool was going since there is nothing out there to see. When GG returned I don't think he was looking towards drawing attention to himself and obviously didn't. jmo

I know, plus she was too old by all accounts I have read and heard. I think Amy Bradley was 23 when she disappeared. That's about as old as I've heard. She had several small tattoos, but they could be quite easily hidden for the most part.

Robyn did look younger than 35, and maybe GG could have passed her off as 25 even. But that tattoo is so noticeable and distinctive. Can't be hidden without long sleeves, and too easy to identify her, imo.

I still wonder why they went to the same location two day in a row
I still wonder about RG wearing the same dress everywhere.
I still wonder if wearing the same dress caused confusion for witnesses

BBM. That's right, thanks for reminding me. Silva said that GG was driving "erratically" and in the wrong direction, which is what attracted his attention. So he then watched until they were gone, then went back to his fishing.

Makes sense that GG would be much sneakier and not want to draw attention to himself when he returned.
