Well, she was texting RF. We know that as a fact. From the look on her face in those pictures she certainly does not look as if she is having a splendid time. And I guess going to Baby Beach two days in a row late in the day would not exactly thrill me either when there are so many other things on the island they could have been doing. And if they planned to snorkel, why didn't they do so on Monday when they were there. If this were the only strange scenario in this story it would be one thing but nothing seems to make sense the way GG claims it happened compared to what we see with our own eyes and from witness statements. jmo

A few thoughts:

Do we know that they did not go snorkeling or swimming on Monday when they were there? I never heard what they did there on Monday.

Have you ever thought she may have been wearing her swim suit under that dress.

Her dress could have been found on the rocks because the wind blew it there from the spot she left it?

The look on her face in the pictures really means nothing--some might say she looked like she was having fun, I know she seemed to be having a good time, definitely not miserable enough for the "this sucks" statement. Who can really tell from a photo. It like GG's bathing suit "wet?" "not" wet.

Well, beyond the Ritz site there is a bit of rocky coast and then there are all of the expensive homes up to a point, then there are some snorkeling areas, the dunes and the lighthouse (which is at the northern most tip of the island). That is what I don't understand about GG driving all the way to Baby Beach when there are some safe snorkeling places after the Marriett. I mean, they were right there. A five minute trip up the road. A lot of fish up in that area because the tour ships anchor there and throw food over the side for the fish to eat so the fish don't go far. But then there are always quite a few people in the water at that location so I guess it just was not good enough for him. jmo

Not only that, they never actually went to Baby Beach to "snorkel". They, according to GG, went to Nanki Beach, or whatever, behind the Rum Reef, to "snorkel". Wherever it was, was on the other side of the peninsula from Baby Beach. Baby Beach has protected reefs, from what I have read, whereas, the area in which he claimed they went are not protected. Did he know this? I have no doubt that he did.

The thing is, that according to the snorkeling / diving map, there are no decent reefs for snorkeling where GG claimed that they went. (map posted previously) So why then would he choose that area?:waitasec:

Why would he not go to the very best place he could find, as that is what true "snorkelers" and/or true "scuba divers" do. I know that for one reason , because I used to be one. :twocents:

And around the Ritz site is very desolate

I know you can't grasp them going to another area

You know, I am sure he had his reasons and they probably weren't pure and perhaps he picked this location because it seemed like a good place to carry out his plan , if he had a plan, whatever that plan may have been

I don't really think they were looking for a snorkel site. do you?

But the fact is, when vacationing , many people explore their location

I mean, you have travelled all over the Island, why wouldn't someone else?

But as you said before, why return to the same place two days in a row?

found
.....
NOT found
anywhere....

I repeat, her dress was not found anywhere.

Weren't they at a party Monday night? A party at their hotel?? Almost sure.

But she has visited the island for years. GG and RG were only on a 3 or 4 day trip. If I am going to be somewhere for 4 days, I am not going to leave my luxury resort and spend two of those days in a desolate, rocky, ugly area where there is an ugly eyesore factory as my main view.[/QUOTE]

Unless you told the victim that you needed to find isolated areas to film nude and/or erotic scenes.

From the beginning we have been discussing if this could have been the explanation given to Robyn--scouting locations.

I wonder what he told Robyn when he met with her while they were still in the states.

But I have visited the Island for twenty nine trips in twenty years
So I too know know island and her people

My point is this

Everyone vacations differently
And if some want to hang around their resort, fine
Its not the way everyone does it

I travelled all over the place the first few trips, wanted to see everything

And Judging by LCs post so did she, so why is it that GG and RG travelling around is so hard to believe

There are some points of view that make absolute sense and in this caae... many, but some don't carry a lot of weight

I just don't buy that reasoning

You know JMO

I think the first time someone goes somewhere, they try and take in as much as they can. Each and every subsequent trip they become more selective, and start to visit their favourite places.

Baby Beach is not always that secluded. It is a favorite spot for families. So not exactly an ideal spot for taking nude photos with the restaurant and dive shop right there and obviously this is a great spot for fisherman over on the pier side of the beach. Also not very scenic with the refinery in the background, lol. If he wanted seclusion the backside of the island would fill the bill. There are small little beachy areas cut into the cliffs that would have provided and excellent location for that type of picture taking. Plus the hour of the day??? Baby Beach is on refinery property so not a good location for sure. jmo

What, you mean you don't want to go to a beautiful island, and spend two days driving down to view the breathtaking beauty of the refinery, even if you have your own big blue cup filled with "Juice"? :floorlaugh:

I have to say I'm with you on that one,. Me, I'd do some exploring, but after seeing that refinery once, I'd be saying enough of that. Then I'd be back lounging out at the tropical pool and going to the swim up bar drinking pina coladas with little umbrellas in them. Have to say no thanks to the big blue cups of "Juice".

I know a woman said she saw the dress lying a distance away. Problem is, they don't have the dress.

Ok, so they went to the party the night they arrived, thanks.

So are you saying LE does not have the dress? That would make sense because I would think they might have given the dress back to GG to put with her belongings that first night. I was hoping they would have tested the dress to see if there were traces of blood on it. Not that it would prove anything. jmo

ETA: Hey, we just got moved up to the top of the page.

NOW THAT I NEED A LINK ,please! Nowhere in all of these Posts Have I EVER seen this to be a proven "FACT", so how do you know this????

Don't you think if they did not recover her dress that might be grounds for holding GG , perhaps charging him? I mean that would sure make ME suspect he disposed of Robyn with her dress on, therefore NO SNORKELING!!

So tell me again where you found this info,IMOO that would really be the "red flag". TIA

Edited to add: I was actually replying to a post that stated they have the dress, as if it were fact - so I should have said, that is not a fact, they have never revealed that they have her dress.

Don't you think if they had found her dress we would know about it? I'm sure, with the witness statement, regardless of how credible, they have to assume it blew into the water. Not finding her dress would not equate to no snorkeling or murder. We know about the towel with blood on it, why wouldn't they tell the public if the dress had been found?

They did hold GG, for three months - not finding the dress could have been part of it, we don't know.

Yes,I definetly believe Giordano is guilty of a crime and I am leaning towards Robyn being trafficked. And I have a whole list of reasons why I believe that. Sadly a woman being sold and taken off the island would be much worse for tourism then a simple crime of a american killing another american.

My point was Giordano has all that hired help including Baez, his PI and the best lawyer in Aruba. Who is representing the best interests of Robyn Gardner? AHATA,ATA and the Aruban strategic task force? Why can't they locate the owner of a rented white Hyundai getz that was driving around that area for at least 45 minutes during that crucial time period?
When you state things as fact, you need to link them to either a main stream media (MSM) report or a law enforcement (LE) report.

Can you please provide some links for the corruption and that the owner of the car has not been located?

Thanks,

Salem

You guy's have already posted the articles about the White Hyundai Getz where the ALE was requesting that the owners come forward as they believe they may have witnessed something or as some have speculated possible accomplices. So much time has passed and I dont have the time to dig up everything regarding this case and every link.

Diario newspaper did have a article that stated that Giordano was seen twice on video arriving at the rum reef that day. The first time was about 10 minutes before 6 where he left and came back again. Whats interesting is he arrived just minutes after this White Hyundai Getz that was supposedly seen in the area making long drives for fourty five minutes during this crucial time period. At the bottom of the article you can see Stein claims it was a rental that they cannot locate. You have to be a subscriber to Amigoe to post the link but this article is still online.

Police are reconstructing drowning Gardner
Friday, September 16, 2011 9:54

Insofar as Advocate General Stein knows, is the owner of the white Hyundai Getz yet been found. The Public Security published Friday, September 2 images of the back of the Rum Reef restaurant. In these images, this white Hyundai Getz to see long drives around quarter past five in the afternoon on August 2. The occupants could be seen Gardner and Giordano. Stein says Amigoe the research team has spoken about the question 'how many of these cars driving around on Aruba. He could not say whether that was actually chosen. "It is very difficult as it was a rental car."

I could believe that RG was sold to traffickers. I think it would be a good way for GG to get rid of her body. makes sense to me.

Have you ever heard of the Natalee Holloway case? From Diario and the mouth of Jossy Mansur, the cartoon below. Also, I would suggest you read Dave Holloway's book, The Tragic Untold Story of Natalee Holloway and Corruption in Paradise. And also to this thread for a few examples http://*************.net/index.php?topic=615.0 "Corruption and Collusion Within the Aruban Government."

Buy Today and Pay when the Campaign comes Around

The gist of the cartoon is the amount of corruption that has become the characteristic of this incompetent government. The faces in the cartoon are those of the players involved. You can easily identify the Minister of Justice, Rudy Croes, the Minister of Public properties, Marisol Lopez Tromp, and others who are engaged in the exposure of the endless acts of corruption of the people in this government. The title speaks for itself: “Buy today and pay when the campaign comes around”. This alludes to the public properties Minister Marisol Lopez Tromp has given to the financiers of her political campaign, and which the DIARIO has exposed and continues to expose to the public with the appropriate evidence! (Jossy Mansur)

I believe they can't find the rental car in the video because you can't see the marker number and there is no identification visible to tell what rental agency it belonged to. I'm sure they hoped someone would come forward but not everyone is following this case and a tourist may not have any idea the police are interested in speaking with them.

So human trafficing in Aruba....one attractive blond woman every seven years. Now that's an interesting concept. A real money maker I'm sure. Since GG called the insurance company four times I think he was more interested in collecting the 1.5 million because he knows she died in the water.

GG is free because there is no body. No proof she is actually dead. If her remains eventually come ashore, I think they will charge him with her death. Here in the US we don't need a body to charge someone with a crime, but in Aruba obviously they do.

And does it not stand to reason that any country that depends on tourism would be concerned about this type of trafficing activity if it were happening. The Arubans have beautiful young children who I'm sure they would not want subjected to this type of criminal behavior just as we would not tolerate in our own neighborhood. In fact open up your local daily newspaper and see what type of criminal activity is going on in your neighborhood. Shocking, isn't it. jmo

Politics, are you even surprised??? Not sure if you are from the US, but if you are, what's new? It's like pot calling the kettle black. And what does that have to do with human trafficing? jmo

I do not think she will be washing up if she was/is in the water.

I think the possibility of that happening at this time is nil.

I would like to know how "we" know that she had hair extensions in. Other then RF saying it I am having a hard time thinking that she willing went to aruba with a "friend" knowing that he had snorkeling gear he brought with him mind you for them to snorkel. Yet we are to believe the person that she lied to about her where abouts.
