Sorry, I guess I should have quoted the "thread" of messages that I was addressing.

R.U.Kidding!'s message 349 on page 14 asked:

I was responding to Dushi's response in message 353 and agreeing that it's a time consuming task to search these pages for previously posted information and from the quote above, I picked "RF", "RG" (and yes, I know this is not in the quote), and "Florida" for the search arguments I would first use to find these posts. Of course, you would use keywords for whatever it was you were searching for, but that was the rationale behind my example. The main point is that using "site:websleuths.com" narrows the search to just this web site (and all of it servers since the "www." was left off).

Sorry for the confusion.

It's just me, I tend to be easily confused . This is really helpful information, thank you! :seeya:

Forester, of Bethesda, said he did not know Gardner was traveling with Giordano. He also said that Gardner had posted a message on his Facebook wall during her trip that said, “This sucks,”--but added that he couldn’t be sure what, in particular, Gardner was referring to. Forester said the posting was followed by a Facebook message from Gardner that said: “I love you. I care about you. We’ll sort this out when I get back.”

Whatever it was that RG and Rf argued about before she left, it appears it was not about her going away withh GG as Rf did not know

And about the phone call, I guess i am wrong about her telling him she was in Aruba on the phone
I guess i was mixed up with his comment about thinking it was an international call

My feeling on this communication by Robyn to RF is that she realizes she made a mistake and regrets her decision to go to Aruba with GG, and, she is not having a good time. :(

I just can't even imagine being stuck on an island with scary, creepy GG, it would be a very, very bad nightmare. jmo.

Snipped:

All LE agencies discourage families from doing their own investigations. It's not an uncommon practice so I don't think Aruba is any different. And we know the FBI rarely discloses any information during an on going investigation, which this is. Crime happens everywhere and, yes, thieves do go on vacation...all the time. I don't think it is any secret that Aruba does not reveal any information they gather during an investigation so I'm not sure how that equals corruption. And politics are politics no matter where you go. The fact is an American is a suspect in the disappearance of another American.

Another fact to consider is that people are just not disappearing in Aruba on a regular basis. Just like any vacation resort that features water, people drown. Cruise ships lose passengers who fall overboard. It's not always a headline issue for months and RG's case is no different. It will only become news again when and if GG is charged. The Holloways made an effort to keep their daughter in the news, having resources to do so, in hopes of recovering her.

Aruba is still one of the safest islands to visit as long as you trust your travel companion. RG is an innocent victum and missing because she chose to travel with the wrong person, IMO. That has nothing to do with Aruba. jmo

I am with you on this one Lambchop, these things could happen anywhere, not just small islands. No one would travel anywhere if we took notice of all the scaremongering.

Such as Mexico for example. jmo

Middle East, Africa, the list goes on and on.. Who has not had a murder in their own town nowadays?.. Are you going to move everytime?..So this in my opinion is a red herring..

I must commend you Dushi.

Thank you for all the links you have posted and the time and effort you have put into it.Without which this thread would have lost momentum ages ago.Although I am new to this and have not got into the link finding yet, <modsnip>. Well Done.:seeya:

GOOD POST, Saracen---

........and AGAIN---I second that thought!!!

For the new kid on the Block, your pretty astute.:takeabow:

Unfortunately, providing links is part of being a member. When something is posted that is not common knowledge, it's only considerate to post a link so the other members don't have to do the research.

That "consideration" works both ways.

I'm beginning to think RF stretches the truth. He says one thing in the People article I posted (link is provided in body of quote), and then another in this interview. This is concerning since he has a foundation set up for Robyn and is taking donations.

http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/video/robyn-gardners-boyfriend-aruba-disappearance-14279662

Maybe I'm looking at the wrong People article but didn't notice anything different in RF's statements. I looked but did not find your post referencing that, but looked at the 8 -11 article, is that the right one? TIA

Thank you vplate, so the comment to Dushi, about consideration, wasn't meant as a criticism.

Respectfully:

.....and for the future, since you didn't provide the link I requested , would this statement be considered "common knowledge", because I have been here since the beginning and never heard "they never found the dress".

TIA

I think vl is referring to ALE never confirming they found Robyn's dress. The only source being that of a reporter, ABC, I think.

Insofar as Advocate General Stein knows, is the owner of the white Hyundai Getz yet been found. The Public Security published Friday, September 2 images of the back of the Rum Reef restaurant. In these images, this white Hyundai Getz to see long drives around quarter past five in the afternoon on August 2. The occupants could be seen Gardner and Giordano. Stein says Amigoe the research team has spoken about the question 'how many of these cars driving around on Aruba. He could not say whether that was actually chosen. "It is very difficult as it was a rental car."

SBM / BBM :waitasec: Am I reading this correctly, as in, the occupants of the Hyundai Getz were Robyn and GG? Also, it just occurred to me, how do they know it was a rental car?

I don't know anything about the first part of this quote Neesaki but in answer to your question about rental cars. In Aruba, all rental car plates start with a V

In reference to "The occupants could be seen Gardner and Giordano."

Neesaki, IMO, I think it's saying the occupants in the car could have seen Robyn and GG.

That makes much more sense, TU. :seeya:

I never read this before

The last person to see Robyn Gardner and Gary Giordano together was the owner of a dive shop on Aruba who noticed their car far out on a rocky point of the island which he thought was an unlikely place to be snorkeling.

He later saw Giordano's rental car at the tip of a rocky path leading out to the ocean, and said he thought at the time how unusual it was to see people snorkeling at that spot.

http://abcnews.go.com/International/aruba-dive-shop-owner-person-robyn-gardner/story?id=14315628

So a fisherman saw them walking on the jetty, and a diveshop owner saw them drive on the rocky point

Are the Jetty and the Rocky point the same place?

That we both had the same idea at close to the same time is interesting ... just mere coincidence, or more ..... ? :seeya:

well... I was reading about the rental car that was seen, and ALE couldn't find the renter - obvious conclusion - go to the rental agencies and find WHO rented it - there can't be THAT many car rental places there... or coincidence??? :seeya:

Troubling, this report of GG seen twice arriving at the Rum Reef, then leaving and returning back, just a few minutes apart. I had either not heard this or forgotten about it.

I wonder why this wasn't brought out by any of the U.S. media. The Diario is unfortunately in dutch, and I tried to use a translator but it wouldn't work, but then the article may no longer be available anyway. :sigh:

This came out through one source and it was the Diario newspaper which holds the most credibility with me out of all the papers in Aruba. I am 100% sure they wrote this because I translated the article myself back in August. Unfortunately,I went back to find it and spent at least a hour doing so and was unsuccesful..When I have time later this week I will make another attempt
