Wondering how long Am Ex can hold off paying out on Giordano's claim? Anyone know what is the rule of law? How would Am Ex legally hold up payment....and how long.

I don't know about the legalities of the insurance business but I believe you can't make a claim for a year? someone?

If that is the case and GG made a claim, I am guessing an investigation will follow before he gets near a penny, given the circumstances

Is GG still pursuing the law suit?

I can't believe it's already been a YEAR!! :what: So sad!

I sure HOPE GG doesn't get a penny of that insurance money! But I would think that AmerEx has their own investigators and will do their own investigating before they pay out a million bucks! We can hope!

Am I the only one here that didn't know that Baez has a mail order bride from Colombia? I just found out from reading on another thread from a post by Jersey*Girl. So is it just coincidence that JB ended up representing GG, who met Robyn on adultfriendfinder.com and also allegedly has buddies in the mail order bride business? Kinda interesting, imo.

We are poisoning the next generation(s) of children and our nature. There are estimated some 40 of such privately run quarry dump sites around the island. Many if not all are illegal. There is no control as to what is dumped. No steps are taken to stop this irresponsible conduct. An official appeal has been sent to the Government put an end to this.

Thank you!! In prior posts several posters kept insisting that Gary had every right to take out an insurance policy on Robyn. I knew in my gut it wasn't right. Thank goodness KARMA has gotten Gary! Now we need to find Robyn's body so Gary can be put behind bars where he belongs!! :banghead:

I truly cannot stand this guy. He is as bad as Drew Peterson. Hopefully Robyn will get Justice soon.

Technically, he DID have every right to take one out. When it comes to PAYMENT on the policy, that's another story...

Unless that's specifically stated in the term of the contract, I suspect GG has a claim that will payout (if RG is declared dead). I've purchased insurance twice before for teens my boys took on vacay with us. If the insurance company can take our money to have these travel insurance policies, then they have to pay out if a claim is brought forth and proven death is in writing. Otherwise, they're committing fraud for taking somebody's money and providing a policy in return. In Robyn's case she hasn't been declared dead, has she? So how can GG collect on that claim?

That's just it, Robyn hasn't been declared deceased, and there's no evidence that she is deceased. It's just as likely, and I'm sure the insurance company believes this as well, that she was trafficked or, maybe they're thinking there's a remote possibility that she was involved in some scheme.

Strange, that even GG was rather vague in his declaration that she is dead, nothing he stated was really definite that she drowned, without question was dead. Yet he's so eager to file on this claim, imo.

So how can an insurance company be expected to pay out if someone could possibly still be alive? My guess, there'd be a lot more of people disappearing under the guise of death if their standard policy was to pay out regardless.

My guess is the policy is null and void due to the fact that GG admitted she had been drinking and had taken Ambien prior to going into the water. So even if he claims he paid for the policy he's entitled to the money I think he would lose the case based on GG admitting she had been drinking and had taken a sleep aid. jmo

Anyway I agree completely with you. If it was not legal how could they have taken it out in the first place?

I wonder if after 7 years she will then been declared dead if not found before that, wonder about that little caveat?

Common sense dictates that someone must have an interest (relationship, economics) when taking out insurance on another party otherwise we could all go around killing eachother off after paying a one-time fee for insurance.

You have to wonder if GG is brain dead. Does he really, really want the insurance investigators going down to Aruba to prove their case???? jmo
