Who took this photo? There is a distinct disconnect between the two at that moment, what they are individually experiencing, thinking or responding to. As far as I can discern, they are not responding to one another. So, I'm wondering who they were "posing" for?

Of course, everyone is going to see this differently
I see two people who possiblly who had too much to drink etc.

I think the picture is perfectly normal, just enjoying the party. lol It looks as if they were dancing and the photographer took their picture. He does look wasted and she enjoys having her picture taken. I noticed in most of the pictures taken where you can see them in the crowd that she is looking at the camera. Maybe the camera man was very nice looking, lol. The men who work these functions/parties tend to be very outgoing and friendly so it is possible she caught his eye and he took her picture. jmo

I'm surprised at these reactions. I commented earlier in the thread, when I saw that pic, that she looks like she is seriously not "into it". I still feel that way, rather strongly. He is clearly wasted. She may or may not be, but she's not happy.

it's just a snapshot of a moment in time I don't think they had time to pose and they were probably not on the same mental plane on account of degree of intoxication.

I would not read much if anything into the pic.

This gave me a chuckle. You're right. I have more of a chance getting mugged or hurt here in the US then I do on a one week vacation. I'm not knocking other countries I've visited. My feeling is that I save all year for a vacation. When I go on vacation, I don't want to see little kids begging or dogs that are starving. I know it goes on but there is something wrong in my mind getting off a luxury cruise ship and walking into a reality that makes you sad and upset despite the beautiful surroundings. When we were in Mexico I wanted to bring a couple kids home with me.

He's definitely not a stupid man and has been around the block when it comes to the law with regard to criminal activity. I think Robyn knew of his past. I think her friend said that on one of her interviews but she also said that Robyn was a forgiving and trusting person. I believe that statement.

I think people who are abusive or bullies have a great ability to hide who they really are when they must.
Its the only way for them to survive in society

IMO, the picture of Robyn and Gary reveals GG’s intention to murder Robyn. His face is inflamed and his eyes are bulging out of his head, like he is about to attack her and he isn’t just drunk and having a good time. He is fixated on Robyn, not the music, and the way GG’s right hand is open wide slightly above Robyn’s head looks like he intends to hold Robyn’s head under water to drown her. Imagine that! Robyn, his victim, who is only interested in promoting her ‘modeling’ career misses this important cue and does nothing to protect herself. GG never murdered anyone in the past afaik but he is a thief who is the beneficiary on her insurance policy.

Most woman wouldn’t dream of being murdered by the person they went on vacation with, it is hard to wrap your head around this. After seeing this picture of GG, I would not trust him, :twocents:

(my bolding) Yes, and Robyn chose to ignore what she knew about him in favor of taking a "free" trip to Aruba. Only it ended up not being free, she paid the ultimate price.

She probably did know him to a point, which is why she had second thoughts about going with him and had previously turned him down on the offer. But she didn't know him as well as she should have or she was in denial mode, otherwise she wouldn't have gone; unless of course she had a death wish we don't know about, jmo. It's a shame that she let her desire for a short getaway from reality overrule her instincts and her common sense.
