I think people who are abusive or bullies have a great ability to hide who they really are when they must.
Its the only way for them to survive in society

BINGO! And, most women who are the brunt of it also hide it and make excuses for them or think they can change them.

My philosophy, once an abuser, always an abuser. Once a liar always a liar.

I would like to add that taxi drivers are very hard working and for the most part have a very dangerous job. jmo

I agree and would like to add ... the same goes for passengers in the cabs in NY City. lol.

Of course the dresses are different. The pic on the left is not from the Aruba trip. It was taken before the Aruba trip. She likes that style dress, obviously (can't blame her, I'm sure they're comfortable and they are flattering to her).

I can't tell if the tattoos are different. They sure look different. And the earlier one looks bigger...that's what's odd.

I was commenting on the two photographs in the post. I think the only one important is the one where she is seen leaving the dive shop.

She probably did know him to a point, which is why she had second thoughts about going with him and had previously turned him down on the offer. But she didn't know him as well as she should have or she was in denial mode, otherwise she wouldn't have gone; unless of course she had a death wish we don't know about, jmo. It's a shame that she let her desire for a short getaway from reality overrule her instincts and her common sense.

I feel she had a major blowout with RF that put her over the edge and caused her to make a decision that she didn't think out too well.

I wonder if we have more than one abusive bully in this story though.

Just thinking out loud....

I don't think the free trip was in her mind. I'm just thinking this way but
I think the acceptance had more to do with her relationship with RF
than it did traveling with GG.
We really don't know what was on the mind of these 3 people.
Did Richard seem sincere on the tv talk shows. Or is he good at holding
back anger. We know nothing about his personality or what his reactions
are to events. The only thing I see in my opinion is someone who isn't
showing much reaction when his 'girl' is missing and has gone away
with another man.

As far as RG goes, no clue as to what makes her tick. Is she unsure
of what she wants in life? Was she getting back at RF for some reason?
Was he as important in her life as he claimed she was in his?
And GG? Is he just crazy like a fox OR just 'stuck on stupid' when it
came to this plan?
lol Now I've confused even myself!!
I guess my point is there is NO information except the fact that two
of those people went to Aruba and one of them is missing!!

As far as the photos go, I believe that is open to anyone's interpretation.
Now, to me, RG looks caught off guard and reacting to the camera flash.
GG looks like he saw this photo coming and decided to be a goof ball.

There is just to many unknowns with these three people and I
believe WHAT their last interaction was with one another was a
deciding factor in what happened jmo

RG is not around to tell us. GG is a liar and I don't think we know
enough about the few people that have come forward regarding
them.

Of course this is just my opinion and another thought that hit me!
Sorry if this came up earlier here on the board.

I think RF is regretting some things right now. I do feel bad for him. See, most people don't go through life thinking that today may be the last time I see you. Life and its trials tends to make people forget that possibility and they say and do things that will be on their conscience forever if something like this occurs and the person you need to make it right with is suddenly not there any more.

OK, well you're certainly entitled to your opinion.

By the way, JVS's father was not a judge. He was a lawyer. Being one myself, I can tell you, there ain't much glory in it. He wanted to be judge. That just proves he was nuts. (tongue in cheek, thank you, Your Honor)

Not unless you get murderers off like Jose Baez but even he needs to live with himself afterwards.

Jose's FB page is gone since he became GG's attorney. The last post on it was pictures of aruba, then poof, it's not there anymore.

Excuse me, but he was titled a "judge in training". In Aruba, this is a very powerful position. On an island such as this, any white man with position has a lot of power. My husband was considered a very powerful man. He was called "fat, round Doctorman". Very, very powerful in that location. I can only imagine what a Judge (in training) would mean to the local folk. I do have a legit argument. What is yours?

I don't agree with you
he was a lawyer, not even a high positioned one
A judge in training who never made it

You do realize ther are many white people in Aruba

Strange, but it looks like the tattoo on Robyn's lower arm is different as in previous pictures:

Since we are being "far fetched" tonight....what if the "woman" in those photos is actually two separate women? How would that change this case?

This is waaaay wayyyyyy out there {{{speculation alert etc etc}}}, but, for grins, let's just say, many years in the future, a "Movie of the Week" is made of this case. You, an actress, are shown a picture of the woman on the left, RG. What would you pick up from that photo if you were asked to "play" her?

Yes, he was a lawyer, he was also a judge in training. Beleive me, I've followed the Natalie case since day one. Want to know anything else?

I agree with that
Women that are in abusive relationships often hide it

And, thus is the reason that the LE at that time did not do their jobs.

Yes, many of us did. There was a concerted effort to protect JVDS.

Anyway, back to Robyn...

The tattoos do look different in both pics
as someone mentioned it may be camera angles but it does make you go hmmmmmmm

  • #719
Here is another pic from Robyn with the tattoo in yet another position.

Since this one was taken in Aruba too it seems the tattoo's are the same in all the pictures.

Ah, seeing that I think you're right. Thanks. One less crazy theory to have to kick around...
