OMG look at how close that cove is and you know it is much more still and safe for snorkeling and he chooses the area beside it.....
and an experienced snorkeler most definately knows not to go out in the ocean with just your tennis shoes on and since he said he had flippers why did he use them? I think he might have used them and this gave him a great advantage over poor Robyn.
Oh WOW thank you soooo much! your on your toes!! Now, what are the odds that he knew this?
So who is paying for GG's leagal cost, I should think that people like his lawyers do not come cheap, or do charity work, is this the reason for his 'exclusive' interviews?.
At first I heard that he had never been to Aruba before this vacation, but that changed later to say that he had been there several times ... who knows. If he had been there before, he may have known about all the mine shafts in the area.
The area that was heavily searched was that whole southern tip, where there are mines. One mine was searched because clothes were left beside the top, but no luck.

Thank you. immediately Saturday Night Live comes to mind and the skit where the man dressed like a lady says " Well, isnt that special"....hummm
I have a feeling the Aruban investigators are in high gear right now! So many discrepancies and fumbles in this version of GG's story! It's arrogant, insulting, and I think he and Jose are a match made in heaven, right along with his other soul mate, meal ticket who the entire nation is "unfairly persecuting"! And RR0004... I couldn't agree more with you, the very first thing I caught was about the water getting in his nose... if he was wearing a face mask, no water would have gotten in. The face masks used when scuba diving have an airtight seal. He said they started off in the shallow water "and had their faces in the water, and its getting a little deeper and deeper as we go" and then they "were in ten to fifteen feet of water" and that was when he took a gulp of water in his mouth and nose.... One thing I do know a little about is scuba diving and in my experience, if he had been gradually heading out like he claims, he would of had his mask adjusted and become "acquainted" with it before getting out to the point it was over his head and he was swimming... or he wouldn't have been out that far. And I would never wear my tennis shoes to scuba, especially if I brought fins. Who opts for sneakers over fins? And he said his sneakers were absorbing water at this point too, so now he has a problem with his "buoyancy".... Uhm, I also have a little knowledge about wet sneakers, Gary, and I promise you, those sneakers would have been fully absorbed with water well before you hit the ten fo fifteen feet mark! Unless they were special sneakers! Ugh... he is so insulting! Not even going to ask if that also means he expects us to think poor Robin was out their snorkeling in her dress and flip flops that were never recovered..
Maybe because my grandchildren and friends are blond that I notice they get far more attention from the native Arubans. Years ago an owner of a famous restaurant in Aruba came flying across the airport lobby area to give my grandson a hug goodbye. I had noticed her while we were having dinner a few nights before and she stopped at our table to talk. My grandson was 2 years old at the time and had blond curly hair. She was the first one I heard say how much Arubans love blond hair. After that I noticed that what she had said was pretty much true. But you can say the same for here in the US. Did I conduct a formal survey.....no.....I pay attention. When blond hair is on a woman men pay attention......not so much when the blond is a male. It's just a fact. I stand corrected though about every Aruban, you are correct....let's just say that every male pays attention to the blonds and that is everywhere. jmo
Thanks Sapphire,
That was the only reference to a "storm" I heard. The storm was the reason for his flight change.
Unless he deliberately drowned her, he is not responsible for her actions.
Would she be responsible for his actions if she were driving and he disappeared beneath the surf?
I think it is odd that Gary is telling the server/LE RG took a sleeping pill in the middle of the day. Who would do that knowing you are going to snorkel? I think he told them so when her body returned to shore and they did blood tests they would fine the drug in her system and he would have already given them an explanation. Seems a little strange to tell people someone took a sleeping pill when it's only 4pm in the afternoon.
It's also strange to here him say he bought insurance for the trip just in case he "disappeared". Who would say that? Wouldn't you say in case I died, or something happened to me. Why would you be so specific??? jmo
Really?
OMG look at how close that cove is and you know it is much more still and safe for snorkeling and he chooses the area beside it.....
Yeah, the area with all the huge rocks. Really bizarre, imo. By all the photos and videos I've seen of that area, I personally think it's rather spooky looking, it's so remote and with that huge eyesore of a refinery in the background. No way would I ever even consider getting in the water there. This is what they went to a Caribbean island for? :waitasec:
They were staying in a fully inclusive resort with it's own private beautiful beaches, pools, bars, restaurants, yet they journey almost an hour drive one way to this desolate isolated beach the first and the second day of the few days they were to spend on the island?
I get a bad feeling everytime I think about it. It literally gives me the chills, it's like a an Alfred Hitchcock movie come to life. JMO
